Got the call. My number increased to 180. It is a good increase, my doctor is happy with it but I'm still neutral. It wasn't a high enough jump to reassure me. It's so sad, but my prior miscarriages have robbed me from enjoying this. I'm too scared to get excited and then see the fetal pole mesauring behind or have no heartbeat again. I go back in a week to see if there is a sac and test my blood again. It's good news so far.
@kelrauh don't stress. They will all catch up. You have high numbers now so you should have high numbers at retrieval.

@Colleen0516. That sounds like great news for me! I get the cautiously optomistic feeling. It's self preservation! I hope you will take the time to bask in the good news! You deserve it!
@Colleen0516 that's awesome! It's 39h doubling time! It might even be twins!! I understand that you don't want to get too excited, but it really looks good!

Well, she checked my lining and said that it was still very thick so the bleeding couldn't be that much. Which I truely don't know how it's possible, I've been staining since the day before my beta. It's constant. But I'm relieved to know my lining is still okay. She said that bleeding is normal in the first trimester. It could be nothing to be concerned about OR it could be the early signs of miscarriage. There is really no way of knowing. If it gets to the point where I'm soaking a pad in an hour (which seems crazy lol), then I should call immediately. Otherwise, wait and see. Its obviously not that bad yet, but it's going away yet- so we shall see. I just wish it would stop.
The more I move, the more I bleed. The mornings as less because I was laying all night.

11 eggs!!! I'm so excited! My previous 2 ERs had 6 eggs of very poor quality. I'm so excited about 11 this time! And the new estrogen priming protocol will hopefully have had a very positive effect on the quality! I'm hoping for 8 to be fertilized and 6 to be good quality. That way we can transfer 2 and still have a few to freeze. I should get the call tomorrow about fertilization results and possible ET Sunday or Monday or maybe Wednesday. Now, I nap. : )
@Colleen0516 I was thinking about this last night, does your RE think that maybe more than one took because you transferred 3, and maybe you could be loosing one but not the others?? Is that a possibility??

@ADRIANAC1982 I thought that, and she said it's possible, but my starting number being so low- were not too sure. Sadly, this is the exact same thing as last month. The bleeding was just as much. It's freaky how similiar it is. My next step is sono. At sono last time I was told the baby was measuring behind. My beta kept doubling, but the measurement never caught up. No heartbeat either.
SO the sono will be important for me. It will either allow me to be excited or still be nervous.

My sono is on Thursday! @ADRIANAC1982 I agree! I've seen some HIGH betas that's i was sure we're multiple and were only singleton. And some low betas that turned out to be twins. So it def gives me hope! My beta wouldn't be a concern at all, if I wasn't bleeding. It's the blood, the clots and the persistent cramping that is a major red flag! But YA NEVER KNOW! A week will tell more- fingers crossed til then!

I'm at peace with it. I've learned to not wallow in it- it will just leave me in a dark place. Bis is gonna sound soooo strange, but I did have a psychic tell me I have a "twin vibe around me", "that it's not as soon as I want but will come" and June/July ish. This was 2 years ago. Soooo if he I pregnancy doesn't work- then maybe that will come true. I don't know if I fully believe psychics but it gives be something to see postive, if this baby doesn't make it. Who knows this pregnancy could be twins. He did say he could be off a month or so. And I would be due in May now.
Either way- I'm at peace, I will be a mom- I know it. It just may take more waiting but as long as as it happens eventually- it's okay

Hey ya'll! So, I'm sitting here thinking about my upcoming ET and trying to plan for the next few days. When were y'all's transfers? Day 2, 3 or 5? And if you did a day 5, why did your doc decided to wait? My last 2 transfers have been rushed because of the poor quality of the embryos and they wanted to get them inside me to try to thrive instead of the Petrie dish. But this round I'm thinking we're getting much better quality embabies. However, next week is the first week of school and I really am stressing about calling in sick on Wednesday (day 5). Did you have healthy and strong embryos transferred on day 3? That would be ideal for me! What swayed your RE's decision for your transfer?
@kyrgyzshan. My re was planning a five day trans from the start. They feel the blasts have the best chance (if the quality and quantity are there). We ended up freezing all because my prog was too high for a fresh transfer. I work in a school too! Our first day is Wednesday. (My transfer was yesterday.) When we were figuring out a date for my Fet, the nurse said the dr wouldn't be transferring on Labor Day at all. But maybe yours would? I wonder if you could consider freezing and time the transfer over a school break when you have the least stress. So exciting to get those embies out!
@kyrgyzshan we wanted to do a day 5 transfer before we decided to bank out embryos for PGS testing. My RE said its a "poor man's genetic test." If they make it to day 5 in the Petri dish, they are probably better quality. Good luck!
afm, I'm get go for my baseline this week, if AF arrives when she's supposed to. I'm so ready.

I go back in a week to see if there is a sac and test my blood again. It's good news so far.
@kelrauh don't stress. They will all catch up. You have high numbers now so you should have high numbers at retrieval.
