As if it wasn't hard enough waiting until my last shower on Sept 13th to buy all the things... we got our registry completion coupon in the mail yesterday. I'M DYING.

SAME HERE!!!! DH's coworker reached out to me to get our availability bc they want to do an after work event/shower. She contacted me last week and I still haven't heard about a date. Imagine how much harder THAT is... I don't even have an end date in site yet! Lol
ETA- I made a spreadsheet listing everything left on our registry so I can plan out what we're going to buy... Bc lists make me feel better lol

I would be tempted to use my coupon this weekend since there will be so many Labor Day sales and then return or exchange any duplicates!

Such a good idea @bnsmith85! I'm gonna make a list too!
I got suckered into a Fantasy Football Ladies League thing. I don't know how to play. Does someone want to help me pick my players? I don't even watch football. I just said yes because this friend of mine hosting the league has always been so supportive of all my events, and I want to support her.
We just went last night and finished up! I had my 10% plus $15 in rewards and $300 in GC's... we made out pretty damn good!! We got our car seat, bases, PnP and misc items we needed and still have some cash left over. Saving that to see how big our son is, as much clothes as he got, he didn't get any sweat pants so I need to get some.
Married 11-11-11 TTC only since Dec 2015. I had some weight to get off. Been working hard in the gym for over a year. BFP 02-15-16 with our first IT'S A BOY!!!
AH! I didn't think about all the sales. My shower is next weekend when I will be almost 36 weeks pregnant. I'm dying to have everything done right MEOW.
There is an open house/interview hing today at a job I might be interested in for after maternity leave. It has daytime 7a-3p hours and would be much better with our life. I have no idea if they will even be interested in me when I say I can't work until like after Christmas, but we'll see. Nerves!
@annabenanna ugh same thing happened to me! I hate football, but i'm in a family league and then I got suckered into rejoining one with my former classmates because they needed a 10th person even though I really didn't want to be bothered! Especially with more important things on my plate like idk having a kid! I can't really offer you help, I hate football and don't know much but usually you'll end up drafting fine if you trust the ESPN rankings (or whatever site you're using). As long as you make sure you draft the correct # of players for each position and don't end up with like 5 safeties or something lol
I just wanted to say I'm really proud of all of us!! With the exception of that one birth announcement, we've all made it to September!! Way to go O'16!! Can't wait to start seeing all of our healthy beautiful babies soon!
@LGW2015 - Right? It's like we're all drinking the same water or something! Can't believe we've all made it this far!! We're good baby growers! Keep it up, all, and here's to lots of healthy munchkins!!
I know I've complained multiple times about my commute, but today takes the cake! I ran the last few feet to catch the bus and the driver didn't open the door. I figured, ok, he must not see me. So I knocked on the door and he straight up looked at me and drove off. M*TH&R F$CK@R! I burst into tears because I was so upset/frustrated/already having a bad morning. This bus stop has no bench to sit and rest at, which makes it even more offensive to leave a pregnant lady in your exhaust.
On the bright side, a gentleman pulled over to make sure I was ok because I was crying on the curb inconsolably. And on the next bus a woman sent her kids over with tissues and the kids gave me hugs and were asking about my baby. They were so sweet and cute. So my faith in humanity is restored, but you better believe I called and filed a complaint. Who drives off on a 8 1/2 month pregnant woman who needs a bus ride?

@emmaaa This is exactly what's killing me! I looked online last night and SO much stuff is on sale! Like really good sales
@CopperBoom86... I color coded mine. Red for must have then yellow for things we really want but aren't needs and green for pure wants.... Tallied cost x number to purchase and now I feel so much better about it all lol... Thank goodness for crazy list making to help ease my mind lolol
@chriscasey33 I would have burst out crying too! How mean! I'm glad some good people came to check on you though. I say you deserve some sort of treat today to make your day better.
@bnsmith85 - Oh yes, color coding is a must. Purple for must have before birth, Pink for would like to have before birth, Green for can wait but will definitely need eventually, and Yellow for want but not a necessity.
I'm sure this has already been said somewhere, but dang... the May '17 board is up and running already and I'm just like whaaaaaaaa? We'll have legit kids by then, y'all. Like... some of us could be pregnant again before their babies are due.
I don't know why this is blowing my mind, but it is.
@chriscasey33 That used to piss me off soooo bad taking the bus to work! Mine was always over crowded too, so some asshat would inevitably slide in front of my as I was stepping on. You're a champ for doing it pregnant!
@OrangeEv Well, we had bagels and breakfast treats at work this morning, so today is already looking up. I figure it had to get better! @SpaceBurger ugh. people are jerks! I just bought a bus pass for the entire month of September, so I'm in it for the long-haul. 99% of the time it's fine. I'm just glad I have you ladies to vent to for the 1% that it's not.
@annabenanna My work has a fantasy football league and they needed one more person. I was scared to sign up though because I also have no idea how to do it. I'm sure you'll catch on quickly! And I've heard that it makes the games even more exciting to watch.
@MRSCORKER I use Ovia's contraction counter (under "calendar", then scroll down to "contractions"). I (unfortunately) used it last night. You hit start and stop and then rate on a scale of 1-3 intensity. As long as you keep that window open and keep logging new contractions it will also tell you how many minutes apart each contraction is for that session. But once you close it, it will list out the time of each contraction for that day but you'll have to do the math as to how far apart each one was.
@MRSCORKER and @LGW2015 if you guys want an easier app, the one I mentioned keeps your contractions logged until you delete them. So it does all of the math for you and you can open/close out as much as you'd like. you can view it as a chart, graph, or list.
@annabenanna I played Fantasy Football the last few years and loved it, it does make the games more exciting to watch, although you turn into a horrible fan because you start rooting against your favorite team because they are playing some of your players! Make sure you don't draft too many players from one team, and I always like to get at least 2 quarterbacks, 1-2 tight ends, and an equal number of running backs and wide receivers. Last year I lucked out and my main quarterback was Aaron Rodgers, who got me a ton of points. I neglected my running backs last year and paid the price, get a couple of good ones! Don't waste a high draft pick on picking a defense.
Is anyone else thinking about next baby (since it was brought up)? Dh and I want one or two more but we are 30 and 35 so I told him we won't be able to wait as long between (dd will be 4 in January) so I was already thinking about trying again next September and see what happens!
I saw my OB today. I've been having contractions since Tuesday (I take Procardia every 4 hours too) and she wouldn't admit me. I cried. I don't see how I can make it two more weeks like this without going homicidal. At least send me to L&D for a different drug to stop them. #pityparty
@maf9866 I want to wait until this one is about 18 months old to start trying again, but we haven't set a time frame or anything for sure. I just don't want them to end up too far apart. I like being close in age to my brother and wish the other one wasn't SO much younger than I am.

We had trouble TTC this one and we want them close together in age so I think we're just not going to prevent and see what happens. I'm thinking if it doesn't happen on its own in a year or so we'd probably actively start TTC.
ETA: I'm nervous that if we wait too long to start TTC and it takes another 14+ months like it did with this one that they'd be too far apart in age. Who knows, maybe we'll conceive quickly the 2nd time around. It's so hard to judge when you have no idea how long it might take!
