GTKY: When staying in a hotel, do you have any "routines" while staying? Examples: always wearing shoes, taking off the bed spread, wiping down the remote, etc I always immediately lock the deadbolt and "latch" the door. Testing: Maybe Labor Day (10 DPO) If AF isn't here yet (I've been having 9 day LPs)
R/R: I made it! I am cautiously optimistic that I belong here because my OPK never quite went +. But it was close. And my temps are really convincing for O. This is my earliest O since March so I'm pretty hopeful things are maybe going back to normal-ish right now.
CS/Q: None!
GTKY: When staying in a hotel, do you have any "routines" while staying? R/R: It's Monday. I hurt my wrist at the gym. BUT we're moving along with our kitchen reno! Picked out appliances yesterday and are headed to Lowe's to order them tonight (thanks for reminding me about Labor Day sales!!!). Just waiting on a couple changes to our cabinet designs before finalizing those. Hopefully this will be DONE before my vacation to Disney in November.
CS/Q:
GTKY: When staying in a hotel, do you have any "routines" while staying? Examples: always wearing shoes, taking off the bed spread, wiping down the remote, etc Not really. I don't really unpack, I like to live out of a suitcase. Makes me feel like I won't forget anything.
Me: 28 DH :28 Married 12/5/2015 4 fur babies - 2 cats, 2 dogs TTC July 2016
R/R: Waiting for AF and holding onto a grasp of hope that I'm one of those late implantation-ers with slow HCG growth or maybe O a bit later (but then timing would probably be bad). I'm out of tests and can't get to the store until later this week. I have no cramping and no spotting so I really don't know.
I started a new workout routine today. Today's workout was core and it uses a stability ball a lot. I was at the gym and my feet kept slipping depending on the position and I felt like a walrus flailing around. DH said he thinks of me more like a really tall penguin.....
I finished an assignment for my new project management class and I don't think I did a good job which stinks. I really had no clue and I procrastinated way too much.
CS/Q:
GTKY: I'm paranoid about locking the door and latching it. We went away for the weekend for 4th of July and DH booked a really cheap hotel in a Korean beach city. The door had a regular key and didn't automatically lock and if I remember correctly it didn't have a latch either, just your standard doorknob lock. I like the check the room out, especially when we're in a fancy hotel or even some of the cool things in really Korean hotels. The place from the 4th had a shoe and cup sanitizer, a desktop computer that was ancient, etc. I used to love taking baths at hotels since we don't have a tub but then linked that to my recurring UTIs and yeast infections.
GTKY: at a hotel I always unstuck the sheets from the bottom of the bed- I can't sleep with tucked in sheets.. It makes me feel trapped like I can't move around. And then I browse the movie channels and see if they have anything good
R/R: Coming back to work the day after vacation is rough.
CS/Q: Not really a question, but my damn CB digi is still giving my a flashing smiley 7 days in. FF gave me crosshairs and I had a nearly positive wondfo OPK 2 nights before I pretty sure I ovulated so I'm not worried about it. Just annoyed that expensive test missed my surge.
GTKY: When staying in a hotel, do you have any "routines" while staying? Examples: always wearing shoes, taking off the bed spread, wiping down the remote, etc. I immediately check the corners of the beds for bed bugs. I worked in a derm office far too long not to check.
R/R: progesterone started last night and my RE prefers the compounded wax bullets over a nice small capsule. Thanks dude.
CS/Q: how do I make Monday's go away?
GTKY: When staying in a hotel, do you have any "routines" while staying? Examples: always wearing shoes, taking off the bed spread, wiping down the remote, etc

Testing: Meh. Sometime this week. I feel the crazy POAS desire starting to set in so I'm trying to rein it back.
R/R: Well its Monday. And I looked at my calendar this morning and realized that I have to work late tonight.
CS/Q: Nope.
GTKY: When staying in a hotel, do you have any "routines" while staying? Examples: always wearing shoes, taking off the bed spread, wiping down the remote, etc Not really... When possible, I'm that person that likes to bring her own pillow. I'm super picky about pillows.
R/R: I'm annoyed that our timing was bad. I thought I Oed a week before and so did FF, which would have made for better timing, but I'm 99% sure, I'm 7DPO and not 11 DPO like I previously thought. So, that made my timing worse.
On a positive note, I realized that if my LP is still 14 days this time around, the length of my cycle decreased slightly (by 2 days) from last month.
CS/Q: Does anyone use anything naturally to increase EWCM? We used preseed when BDing, but the only time I have EWCM is if I check internally and even then it's barely anything. I drink tons of water, but I haven't been doing anything other than that.
GTKY: When staying in a hotel, do you have any "routines" while staying? Examples: always wearing shoes, taking off the bed spread, wiping down the remote, etc. Not really. Like @DungeonTrollMel I also like to turn the a/c way down.
R/R: It's our last week of summer vacation and I feel like the summer's totally flown by. I homeschool my 2 oldest and not quite ready to get back into it. Where has the time gone??
CS/Q:
GTKY: When staying in a hotel, do you have any "routines" while staying? Examples: always wearing shoes, taking off the bed spread, wiping down the remote, etc I take my pillow everywhere when I stay overnight somewhere - hotels, the inlaws. I also won't walk barefoot in hotel rooms, and even sleep with socks on so when I have to pee in the night I'm not barefoot walking on the carpet and bathroom floor.
R/R: DH had to head home from our vacation last night. He works at UPS & jobs are so hard to keep/get there, he didn't want a vacation time to be used against him
CS/Q:
GTKY: When staying in a hotel, do you have any "routines" while staying? Examples: always wearing shoes, taking off the bed spread, wiping down the remote, etc: I Second the "living out of a suitcase" I've never used the given dresser/closet
Testing: Friday probably @10dpo if my temps are still up...if it's negative I won't test again until 14dpo if I make it that long (I'm pretending that's because I have willpower, but it's actually because i'll have houseguests at 11, 12, and 13 dpo...haha)
R/R: I had to sleep in the guest room last night because DH was snoring so much. He had been out of town all weekend and got in late, so I felt bad waking him up and just left. On the bright side, the guest room is so far from our bedroom that I didn't have to hear the cat's nightly 3am meow-a-thon, so that was nice to sleep through.
CS/Q: Possible TMI - but I just had some blood-tinged CM after using the bathroom. I never get that. I'm now worried that my LP might be shorter than I'd like it to be. I had made it to 12 days the past two cycles, I really hope that continues and I'm not out at 8dpo or something. And don't even "implantation spotting!" me, I already have one baby and I did nothing of the sort with her. My temps are still up today though. And compared to DD's chart, they're .2 degrees higher than they were at 6dpo with her, not that that really means anything.
GTKY: When staying in a hotel, do you have any "routines" while staying? Examples: always wearing shoes, taking off the bed spread, wiping down the remote, etc. not really...I do like to unpack immediately and put my suitcase in the closet because otherwise I feel like it takes up too much space. That's about it.
@chocolatelemons this cycle I started using Mucinex to increase CM during FW and I actually saw some results. I know its not natural but it seemed to work some!
@bumpybump Yikes, sorry for the breakout! Yet another bad side to hormones...
@Bitterbetty12 Welcome! I'm glad things seem to be going back to normal (or at least in the right direction).
@slavenski My fingers are crossed for you. After all, it's 17dpo!
@chocolatelemons Only anecdotally -- no research -- but green tea is supposed to help, and I know some ladies here take FertileCM... maybe @Businesswife does?
Plus a warm welcome to the new TWW'ers today!
Month/Cycle: 3/3

Timing: -4, -3, -1, 0
Testing: Negative this morning. I realize it's likely too early, but I have a doctor's appointment this afternoon so I wanted to do it just in case. How did my other pee buddies do today?
R/R: Well, I'm still here, so that's a rave! I'm now on 8dpo and still just spotting. My first two cycles of charting showed I had just 6-day luteal phases, so I freaked when I had a temp drop and started spotting on 6dpo on Saturday, but I'm still here. No AF yet. This is a pathetic thing to be happy about, but I am, because now I can go to the doctor today and ask that she test my progesterone levels (I think low progesterone is what is causing my spotting and very short luteal phases). It is like a miracle.
Thanks to all the TWW ladies who have kept me from crawling into a hole over the weekend. I really appreciate it.
CS/Q: Here's my temp chart if anyone has thoughts. The spotting the same day as the big dip below the coverline on 6dpo, so I was certain I was out, but I'm back up to an OK temp now so I'm not sure what to think.
GTKY: When staying in a hotel, do you have any "routines" while staying? Examples: always wearing shoes, taking off the bed spread, wiping down the remote, etc
I travel quite a bit for work, so all my squeamishness about hotel germs disappeared pretty quickly. (I know they're there, but I can't live my life in fear so I pretend they aren't.) I am like @marybpoppins in that I leave all my stuff in the suitcase besides hanging clothes for the next day.
@delujm0 If you haven't had it before, and your temps are still up, maybe it's just random, idiopathic spotting? It can theoretically happen any cycle day.
@adirat I would definitely ask for progesterone testing if you are only having a 6 day luteal phase. Most test on dpo7 but you haven't even been making that far so it's justified IMO

@slavenski are you really 17 dpo!? Is your LP always that long?
@chocolatelemons I take evening primrose oil to increase CM. I know some people have had issues with it delaying O, but that has never happened to me. Others also use mucinex.
Month/Cycle: 12/12
CD/DPO: 30/13
Timing: good
Testing: no need
R/R: Temp drop today right on schedule, AF should start tomorrow. I'm a little depressed that we've officially been trying for a year with no success, but glad that we are moving on with treatment for this next cycle.

GTKY: When staying in a hotel, do you have any "routines" while staying? CD/DPO: (revised) 18/3 dpo I can't believe it! FF gave me dotted crosshairs! And it was 2 days later than I was expecting! I wasn't expecting any at all... I was excited when I woke up and boom! They're there! It means I have another 2 days of tww, but, our timing was still decent! Coolness!

Examples: always wearing shoes, taking off the bed spread, wiping down the remote, etc: my husband always looks under the mattress for bed bugs... and I don't sleep on the cover on the top... that usually comes off. I worked at a hotel and they didn't change those out
@chocolatelemons@adirat Yes, I do take FertileCM in addition to B6 and Mucinex, and green tea, too. I have noticed a huge improvement in my CM lately! But I am also on my second antibiotic, so that could also have something to do with it, since that is great for EWCM lol

Testing: Sept 3 for drinking purposes. Otherwise only if temp stays up. Assuming it doesn't drop on Sept 3.
R/R: I have a fantasy football draft tonight in a league I wish I had dropped out of this year. Two people left and were replaced by people I can't stand and the commissioner has no idea what he's doing and is a complete dictator. When staying in a hotel, do you have any "routines" while staying?
Examples: always wearing shoes, taking off the bed spread, wiping down
the remote, etc. If I am staying for 3 days or more, I will unpack everything and put it all away. Before getting into bed, I pull down the covers to make sure there are no bugs. And then since I am an interior designer, I analyze every nook and cranny on how the design is, what works, what doesn't, etc. If there is a piece of furniture that I like the construction/design on, I will look to see who the manufacturer is. #geek

Testing: BFN this morning. I knew it and I tested anyway. My temperature keeps rising and my morning brain talked me into doing it. I honestly feel like I'm out and I'm just biding my time until AF shows up.
R/R: I feel like fall is so close and that makes me very happy! I have a pretty easy day at work today and only a 4-day week this week and 4-day week next week so things are looking good.
CS/Q: Do temperatures drop gradually before AF or is it usually a sudden drop the day before?
GTKY: When staying in a hotel, do you have any "routines" while staying? Examples: always wearing shoes, taking off the bed spread, wiping down the remote, etc It depends on the hotel. If it appears clean and nice then I don't really care about anything other than taking off the bed spread. If it is not that great, I'll wear my shoes, wipe down the remote, and cross my fingers.
R/R: I had such a great weekend! DH and I are not birthday gift people. We just don't really do it for a variety of reasons, but he surprised me with a pop art style painting of our dogs. It is incredible! I got teary when I saw it.
Speaking of which, I got teary several times yesterday and had flowing tears while watching St. Vincent (totally recommend! It's on Netflix.). Then, today I felt like I was going to vomit all over my first group of students. Totes KTFU right? Totes BSC symptom spotting more like it!
CS/Q:
GTKY: When staying in a hotel, do you have any "routines" while staying.
Check for bed bugs. Hotel sex. That's about it. Haha!
@shstephenson Thanks. It's OK. I'm just relieved to get this far!
@jeg07 I don't think it's consistent. In my cycles, I have had a big temp drop CD1 and I have had temps drop slowly CD2-3. I've seen others on here who have a temp drop before AF arrives, both slow and fast.
@swanbrooner SS gets you every time! But FX anyway since you're testing tomorrow
@MollyandD I definitely agree with your annual change. CD23 looks more likely to me, temp wise, but since your EWCM dried on CD22 I can see that as well. And hey, if it was 22, nothing wrong with thinking you're 1 less DPO. Stops the urge to test too early
@adirat FX for your doctors appointment. I would think your doctor would definitely be willing to test progesterone for you considering your super short LP. Also I'm glad that this months seems to be longer!
@jeg07 Temps before AF are different for everyone. I usually have a very sudden drop to or below coverline that lets me know AF is coming. Some people have gradual drops. Other people don't drop until after AF. You'll get to know your pattern though.
@felix08 Sorry for impending AF, but so many FX for your first treatment cycle!

Examples: always wearing shoes, taking off the bed spread, wiping down the remote, etc. Nothing for cleanliness, but I immediately pack away all the random bits of paper and folders. It's nice to have all the menus / tourist info, but they take up all the surfaces!
@chocolatelemons Re EWCM - green tea, grapefruit juice and I just started Mucinex this month. But the biggest thing for me was making sure I was drinking plenty of water.
@MollyandD Yep, I agree! The previous day's temp wasn't high enough - I think FF was just going off your CM data.
@jeg07 I've had both happen to me...usually on CD1 I go below cover line though. Sometimes the day or two before that I get a smaller drop, and sometimes I just drop all at once. And then I usually don't even temp during my period because my temps are all over the place and it annoys me.

CS/Q:

I guess my “routine” is denial because I don’t do anything
special at a hotel.
@BitterBetty12 Yay, glad
you are here now! FX your cycle stays “normal”.
@slavenski Sorry that
you feel like you botched your assignment, hopefully you still get a good
grade! And yes, I used to love baths at
hotels, it feels so luxurious….but then when you think of all of the other
people that take them….yeah…. not so luxurious anymore.
@tripledaggerWed95976
DH has to untuck his sheets, I love mine tucked in. I used to try and compromise at home, and
tuck in my side. That didn’t work out to
well….so now they are always untucked.
@shstephenson Hope your day goes quickly for you! And I also bring my own pillow!
@adirat Hey thanks for looking! I was hoping my CH would line
up more better with my CM, like they have in the past but we shall see.

Examples: always wearing shoes, taking off the bed spread, wiping down the remote, etcThe only thing I can think of is I always make sure to wear like full pajama bottoms and at least a t-shirt so my body doesn't touch too much of the sheets!

GTKY: When staying in a hotel, do you have any "routines" while staying? Examples: always wearing shoes, taking off the bed spread, wiping down the remote, etcNot really. I don't really unpack, I like to live out of a suitcase. Makes me feel like I won't forget anything.

I used to love taking baths at hotels since we don't have a tub but then linked that to my recurring UTIs and yeast infections.TTC since August 2018

I worked in a derm office far too long not to check.Month/Cycle: 10 with RPL

@bumpybump Yikes, sorry for the breakout! Yet another bad side to hormones...
@Bitterbetty12 Welcome! I'm glad things seem to be going back to normal (or at least in the right direction).
@slavenski My fingers are crossed for you. After all, it's 17dpo!
@chocolatelemons Only anecdotally -- no research -- but green tea is supposed to help, and I know some ladies here take FertileCM... maybe @Businesswife does?
Plus a warm welcome to the new TWW'ers today!
Month/Cycle: 3/3

DH is big on not having his feet touch the floor lol He may also wear flipflops in the shower, but I'm not sure he takes it that far. So I do try to make a point to have some kind of flip flops or slippers in the room, but usually I just keep my socks on!

I guess my “routine” is denial because I don’t do anything special at a hotel.

@slavenski Sorry that you feel like you botched your assignment, hopefully you still get a good grade! And yes, I used to love baths at hotels, it feels so luxurious….but then when you think of all of the other people that take them….yeah…. not so luxurious anymore.
