@adirat sorry for the BFN :(

    @Aurora1973  BFN for me too!

    Month/Cycle:  3/3

    CD/DPO:  26/8

    Timing:  AI on -1

Testing:  yeppp tested this morning, and BFN of course.  Trying to reassure myself that it's too early, but I feel like I'm out probably.  I dunno. Not feeling hopeful!

R/R: just a loooong day. helped train some new guys today, went well. tired of peeing on things.

    CS/Q: nope

GTKY:  When staying in a hotel, do you have any "routines" while staying?  Examples: always wearing shoes, taking off the bed spread, wiping down the remote, etc

Not really!  I just unpack immediately and get things set up, and I check the sheets for bedbugs or dirt.

@maebee87 Checking for smells is important in South Korea but mainly for mold/mildew issues. The summers are horribly humid and a lot of Korean nationals find air conditioning to be too cold and are perfectly fine with the hot humid weather. Since the AC isn't used enough there can be mold and mildew issues. Also, a lot of bathrooms here are wet bathrooms where there is no shower stall. Our bathroom is just a shower head, a sink, and toilet with a medicine cabinet. We can't keep towels or extra TP in there because they'll get wet and we have to squeegee the floor and walls every time we shower. Plus I bleach the bathroom every week.

eta: Funny story, yesterday I walk walking to work after my lunch break and an old Korean lady was bundled up in fuzzy socks, a jacket, everything and was saying it was so cold out. It was about 70 with a bit of wind. I'm from NH though so I love that kind of weather.

  • @maebee87  Oh my goodness. Love the stories. Not to say I'm surprised.

    Month/Cycle:  4/4

    CD/DPO:  20.7

    Timing: -5, -4,-2, O, 1, 2

Testing:  Going to wait til 9/6 when AF is due

R/R: Had a dream last nigh that I had a BFP!!  I was so happy, then I woke up.

    CS/Q: none today

GTKY:  When staying in a hotel, do you have any "routines" while staying?  Examples: always wearing shoes, taking off the bed spread, wiping down the remote, etc
Checking for bed bugs is a biggies. I once was at a conference in San Fran and there was a bed bug crawling on my arm.  Came back with bites!

  • Month/Cycle:  27+

    CD/DPO:  25/11

    Timing:  Letrozole, Trigger w/TI, -5, -4, -3, -2, -1, O, +1 (maybe? I can't remember that far back, but 50/50.)

Testing:  I tested a few days ago in the afternoon with a FRER, BFN (afternoons are my mornings.) Yesterday again in the morning, with a FRER test I found in a box that I hadn't unpacked from when we moved a year ago which was in the garage for a year,  so I'm not sure of it's validity or if it could be residual trigger. I don't know anymore. Then I went to the store and bought a Clear Blue digital, which was dumb because its a 50mi/u, and obviously "not pregnant" popped up,

R/R: This, right now. I had to take a break from actively contributing to the the boards and all social media for a while (though I've always been a lurker on the bump). I just couldn't bring myself to re-submerge entirely into the TTC process. I can't explain it right, but tonight just seemed like the right time.

CS/Q: I spent the better part of 2 hours today looking up how long the trigger typically stays in your body vs what the label says out of precaution.

GTKY:  I have a few, but it depends on why I'm there, ie. if it's business or pleasure. I always get two queen beds: I sleep in one, and use the other for my things (I don't like my things on the floor in hotel rooms). I ask for the highest room with a view but away from children and other people. I immediately ask the front desk for two additional sets of towels. When I get to the room, I turn the air down to freezing or boiling (whatever the polar opposite of outside is), check the windows for fingerprints, look in the bathtub/shower for hair, and I smell the pillows (to see if they possibly smell like another person- and yes, I absolutely feel as crazy when I do it as I sound now when I write it...). Also, when I check in, if I happen to be with my hunk, I almost always toy with the staff with shock-factor comments (like tell my husband that it's policy that I have to receive full payment before I proceed up to the room, or when the clerk hands him a key, I act shocked and say that's not my husband-I don't even know that man! :) And always try to do something nice for them for putting up with my jests...)

...and until this GTKY, I didn't realize I actually did all that and more every time, as it was an unrealized routine. (except messing with the staff. lol.)

  • Same. There's so much drama in my city that I would like to hide it and enjoy it with our close friends and family for as long as possible before other people try to invade or cause havoc with their gossip. I'm not particularly close with my family... I probably won't tell my dad's side of the family... Ever. The older I get, the more I realize that I don't think I particularly like them nor do I have to involve them in my life, and that's okay. I'll just show up super pregnant or with a baby one day. DH's family is amazing, and I adore them. His baby sister won't necessarily be 100% pleased, as she was married first and I think she might have expected to have the first grandchild, but she's amazing with children, and it won't be a long term issue that would have any affect on how amazing of an aunt she will be.
  • @felix08  YES!  Is that what you picked, too?!

@Cait32 Silly question.. but how did you know something was seriously wrong?  I have a decent pain tolerance so it's hard to tell.  It is still really sore today and doing a lot of normal things hurts.
