@seitzy3 - Glad to hear you guys are home As far as soreness at the epidural site, yes, so much soreness. They tried 3 times to get mine in so that may have had something to do with it. But it was sore for a solid week unfortunately.
So happy about all the wonderful babies lately, lots of girls, yeah?? Sitting here watching our new TV. Met up with Matt and e at best buy to pick out a new TV after work, grabbed a little Caesars hot n ready on the way home and had a nice easy evening. Just ate my big old piece of cake from my husbands baby shower today and now time for Stranger Things!
We had a good family night, too! I napped while DH picked DD up from daycare and went shopping for mini pizza ingredients and ready-made chocolate chip cookie dough. When they got home, we made our pizzas (which DD loved doing), baked our cookies, ate and then snuggled on the sofa watching Tangled. It was a good night - and a great distraction from the "when will baby arrive" guessing game I've been obsessing over!

But I love that game! Seriously, I'm losing my mind and I'm only 37+2.
@AnnaS930 and @JennM205 the kids and I also had a pizza and movie night. My oldest got to pick the movie and chose Home Alone. He loves this movie even though I try to convince him it's really only for Christmas/winter time.

R&E watch Christmas movies year round....Home Alone, Nightmare Before Christmas, Elf, ect. It kind of drives me nuts but, at the same time, if they can actually agree on a movie, I just don't care!
Taking DD to the zoo tomorrow! Let's hope it's not miserably hot. She hasn't been since she was about 15 months and she slept the whole time. I'm really excited, I think she's going to love it!
@fireflygirl12 love your maternity shots by the way! Sorry the kids are sick. I feel as though we've also been playing Russian roulette over here dodging diseases. Hope they're better soon!
I woke up this morning and started flipping out. Within the next 2 weeks--I'll have a baby. Holy cannoli batman. Anyone else terrified haha! All pregnancy I've been going back and forth "I can do this!" To "omg I can't do this" We've landed firmly in the "oh god I don't know how I'm getting this baby out of me and I have to figure out how to take care of him, holy shit" camp

For me, this anxiety never really goes away, no matter how many times you've been through it. It's the fear of the unknown. You'll get through it and you'll adjust your expectations. But it all turns out ok! Or else no one would do it
Wife to A; Mama to C (2009), N (2011), H (2014) & baby F due 09/16/16
@Megan324 I've definitely started feeling the omg I have to birth this thing! panic this week and I've done it before. I just know how drastically different it can be from one time to the next and it's freaked me out! Just think, a month from now it'll be a distant memory
@Megan324 I am right there in the holy shit camp! Trust me, you are not alone in the way you are feeling. I'm pulling out all my books on newborn care and putting sleep above all else at the moment.
@megan324 I'm joining you there but I'm definitely way more scared/worried about the actual labor and delivery part than the newborn care that follows. I've helped I. Three births, I'm no stranger to it but now that it is mine, I'm terrified
Congrats @TheTamedShrew, Eden is gorgeous and all your photos are beautiful!
@Megan324 and @diagonalley, I'm starting to panic about the labor part too despite having done it before as well. I'm not sure if it's making it better or worse, but I keep telling myself that it's going to happen whether I'm ready or not, so it doesn't matter too much if I think I can do it or not
Turn away for a minute, 'nother wave o babies. Congrats to @camichael84
and @TheTamedShrew ! Holy cats, what a couple of cuties. Two more
>8 pounds, I am getting nervous for the integrity of my own personal
vagina thinking a child that size could be inside my body.
My Saturday randon: The saint I pay to clean my house just left for the next two weeks... she said, next time I'm here you'll probably have a baby! I was like oh... yeah... my god. Cue nesting NOW. At least the house is already basically clean, so I can get on with the really crazy stuff. Victory.
Hopefully I will be pale to catch up on bumping this week. I miss you guys!! Looks like baby Alice and I are going home today. Doc says I am recovering well from my c/s. Alice breastfeed like a champ but we have had to supplement a bit because she ended up with jaundice and has being doing the light therapy but she is doing great!! Can't wait to bring her own and find our new normal!!
Me: 32 DH: 31
TTC #2 since January 2018
Baby #1 DD Born 8/25/2016 BFP: 8/11/18 Due: 4/26/18
E and I had a play date thus morning with 2 of his buddies who are a couple months younger than him. The boys all played amazingly together for 3 hours... can't wait for my little man to have a lifelong friend on the next couple of weeks. 10 days to due date, baby will be here in less than 3 weeks for sure!
@TheTamedShrew Eden is precious and I love, love her name! You look fabulous mama!! What a beautiful family.
(Btw, kinda bummed DH didn't take any pics of us during L&D. He was too freaked out by the process and stayed by my head during the whole "ordeal." And then I fainted after giving birth. So the only family pics we have are the ones we took a week later during our newborn photog session..)
I'm dealing with the anxiety of having to parent two kids. When one is a threenager. So thankful my husband will have a few weeks off.
@PSUBecky23 if it makes you feel better, our threenagers sound alike and mine has be so sweet so far to Ava. I catch her rubbing her head and singing in her ear. It's so cute! She did have a meltdown because I won't let her pick Ava up and I'm sure more massive meltdowns in the future but so far she taking her role as biggest sister very seriously lol hopefully you will have an easy second baby and it will make the transition a little smoother.
poor Cams is not a fan. It's going to be a hard transition for her
now that we have a baby or few born every week from here on out means everyone is SO close to meeting their babes .....(did I just say we?)
I had my first solo outing with Ava this morning to buy buy baby. I wasn't really up for going out at all this weekend because I'm still recovering but I had a crap load of things I needed. A tub- I forgot I gave my last one away. Diapers- I only had one small newborn pack. Breast pump accessories that I forgot about. Pads, bottle soap, Newborn soap etc etc.
Hope everyone is having a good weekend. I'm trying to check in as much as I can.
@kosmo86 Yay for going home! Best of luck with the transition and continued recovery!!
@seitzy3 Out and about already? Props to you, Mama! I'm happy to hear D is taking to being a Big Sister (again) so well. I also have fears about my threenager so your story gives me some hope. And hopefully C will come around soon for you!
@seitzy3 shoooooot. I need all those things you said. Except pads... But I do need breast pads. Shopping trip, here I come!
I have also totally procrastinated the back to school shopping and supply getting. My dad offered to take the two big littles out for supply shopping and to buy a new backpack... So I guess that just leaves me with shoes? I need to get my sh*t together.

Guys I scaled a mountain today for a photoshoot.... totally worth it because the place we got to on the river was absolutely breathtaking and I'm so excited to see the pictures and share them with you! But the massage I got last night would have been perfect tonight because I am SO sore and achy from climbing/walking. Pretty sure I pulled my butt muscle... I better look like some kind of Queen Unicorn Beyonce looking lady in those pictures.
Built the dresser for the nursery between last night and this afternoon. I didn't realize how much assembly was involved but it's really solid and nice. I love it!
I have the first load of baby stuff in the washer...only blankets, swaddles, sheets and towels, but it's progress!

I went swimming tonight and it kicked my ass. Definitely feeling this extra weight now!
But!!!! My niece was born today I'm so in love
