R/R: so I woke up this morning and my temp is still hovering at 97.7. This is my first time not getting my FF crosshairs :-( and since I have 25 day cycles I'm thinking this could possibly be an annovulatory month for me. I'm so bummed

R/R: so we've been in Savannah for a few days and as some of you likely know, several scenes in Forrest Gump were filmed here, like the scene in the beginning with the floating feather. So, we were walking around last night and I saw a feather floating in the air. I caught it in my hands! I know it's lame but I'm taking it as a good sign this month!

I'm waffling between the celebrity route with David Tennant (I still miss 10), the personal route with my grandfather that passed when I was only a couple months old, or the historical route with Dr Martin Luther King, Jr.

R/R: I hit the gym three times this week and I plan on running tomorrow down the shore so heyyoooo feeling back on track! I also got invited to my bff's for dinner on Sunday so she can ask all her bridesmaids to be in the wedding. It will be a nice way to end the weekend. Re appt on Monday is really what I am looking forward to though. I am bracing myself because we haven't had any testing so I doubt we will learn much without that. At least it is a step in the right direction.

GTKY: If you could meet one person, living or dead, who would it be and why? Honestly, I really would like to meet Adele. Specifically, carpool karaoke with Adele (not filmed because I have a terrible voice) because, fun.

WAYDTGKU: Hooray for AF being gone and now its time for all things!

R/R: Its friday! last night night we finished bagging up these awful thorny bushes that we had in the front of our house, we cut them down on saturday night but didn't have any yard bags at the time. No rants yet

CS/Q: not yet, my chart so far is amazingly steady, its usually more rocky. (A few people have been asking about the whole getting up to pee early and which time to temp. One month I took my temp whenever I woke up after 3 hrs of sleep but my DS was getting me up at all hours so my temps were really rocky, FF recommended temping at a regular time even if I had been awake or briefly up as long as I had gone back to sleep, and so far that has really evened out my chart.)

GTKY: If you could meet one person, living or dead, who would it be and why? I'm going to have to think on this one. maybe jacuqe custoe (sp?) It would be interesting to talk to someone who did so much for conservation and exploring of the sea.

@cait32 some cycles i have a pos OPK two to three days in a row. it sounds hopeful for O yesterday or today so take advantage of vacation to HIO!

WAYDTGKU: BD, OPK's, Folic Acid, Luvena, Metformin (Type 2)

R/R: I got my OPK's in the mail last night so I tested right away and my line was extremely close to positive - like it was just an itty bitty bit lighter. My CM pointed to it being O time. We BD'd last night, so FX that it actually was O. I'm not charting currently, I've decided that if this cycle we haven't made progress that my next cycle I do plan on temping and charting. Honestly, I just get so obsessive over it and it stresses me out. My doctor told me specifically that I needed to get my stress under control. When I tested this morning on OPK, it seems my line has gotten lighter, so I will be moving over to 2ww tomorrow.

*trigger* I found out yesterday that my SIL and Brother are expecting. This is their first and my only sibling so it is extremely exciting for me! I am so looking forward to spoiling this little one!

GTKY: If you could meet one person, living or dead, who would it be and why? John Lennon, I seriously wish this man would have never been shot, he had a strong movement of peace and I think he would have made a difference even yet today on where we are in the world.

R/R: Rant: my husband and I got into an argument yesterday because when I told him I was taking prenatals he said "this is going too fast". Turns out he is super nervous. I also had to LITERALLY explain how there is ONE egg a month on one day so the likelihood of me getting KU right away is slim. He doesn't believe me. He thinks because his mom got pregnant with his sister and him (without tracking) that there has to be more than one egg. I told him he seriously needs to read up on how pregnancies happen. I had NO idea he knew so little. Seriously. I wanted to scream.

GTKY: If you could meet one person, living or dead, who would it be and why? Oh this is really tough, I agree with PPs. I am going to give two answers:

Alive - Dave Matthews because he really seems like such a cool, down to earth guy. I would love to jam out to his music with him.
Dead- Prince, because he was so awesome in life! Such a great person!

@Cait32 Do you have the one that gives you only a solid smiley or an open circle? If so, I believe the directions say to stop after you get the smiley. I actually did what you did once and I believe it stayed smiley for two days. You can also look at the lines on the actual stick (like you would a wondfo) and it may show you whether it is still positive or getting lighter. Hope this helps.

@EEL0824 I think my H side-eyed me for taking PNV when we first started trying too and then he heard the RE recommend that I take them as we are trying and he got it. There is was a thread here not that long ago where we shared our husbands lack of knowledge about TTC. It was pretty funny.

R/R: nothing TTC related... we had someone break into our house yesterday while we were at work. They only stole 2 tv's (left behind the ridiculous amount computer equipment that DH has behind) but its creepy to know someone was there. We both had to run to work for a bit but we're headed home soon to make sure everything is as secure as we can make it until all the windows and doors can be replaced because we're pretty sure it was the previous owner (super shady, history of theft. Was arrested the week after we settled on the house and was just released 2 weeks ago) ugh....

CS/Q: nothing to look at, no way I was temping this morning

R/R: It's hot and humid, again. Thought we were off the hook, but no! On the positive side, DS first day of school went great on Wednesday, so whew on that!

CS/Q: WTH, body? This cycle was going a bit weird for me so far. Days of ewcm but no positive OPK. Keep testing to hope to catch it. Nothing. Last couple days had temp rising, so I was preparing for a 3rd temp rise this morning and hopefully call it done. Except last night I decide to try one last OPK just because, and it turns positive. Huge temp drop this morning. I mean, I guess things are a bit clearer now, but I thought I was about to be done HIO for a few days. Am I the only one who enjoys a few "days off" after getting CH??

They both survived the Holocaust, and I would've loved to know what they were like before going through that horrendous experience.

@tripledaggerWed95976 I know you've heard it before, bur you're regular until you're not. I know not ovulating on CD12 seems like you won't ovulate this cycle, but just give it some more time. Based on the +OPKs and CM, it looks like it may have been yesterday. However, your temps are throwing your chart off, especially the temp from Wednesday. I see you noted you had a runny nose on Thursday. Did you perhaps have a fever on Wednesday?

@beary67 it's possible I had a bit of a fever, I definitely wasn't feeling great. I feel like I had to have had a fever because there's no other reason my temps should be so off- I go to sleep and wake up at the same time every day and I always have the air conditioner set at 70 degrees while I'm sleeping. I'm really hoping I ovulated- I did get creamy CM this morning so like you said, I'm thinking (and hoping) that I did O yesterday. I've got my fingers crossed for a temp spike tomorrow

@EEL0824 When I had my annual lady appt last year, I talked to my OB about wanting to start TTC after the wedding and she told me to start PNVs as soon as I go off the pill. I relayed it to DH and he didn’t question it. I do feel lucky that my DH knows how all this works, too. I guess that’s one definite advantage to marrying a farm boy.

R/R: LONGEST.CYCLE.EVER. I took a week hiatus on posting here after finally concluding that last month was annovulatory and I'm now just waiting for another ovulation. CM and CP seem to be heading in that direction but absolutely no line on the opks....so again no clue what my body is doing.

Getting off birth control has been awful!! I am so ready for my cycle to get somewhat regular. I went to the doctor yesterday and she said it takes about 3 months for your body to bounce back from BC so hopefully things get better soon!

GTKY: If you could meet one person, living or dead, who would it be and why? Probably Abraham Lincoln. He just seemed like a cool guy and would have amazing perspective. For a celebrity-jimmy fallon. He seems like so much fun to be around.

CS/Q: Chart stalkers on Wednesday thought I might have ovulated Wednesday/Thursday. DH couldn’t get it up on Wednesday, so I woke up early Thursday to BD before work. That didn’t happen either. So now I have an open circle on the day we thought I might ovulate. Open to any chart stalks?

@ladystinson, how scary! That's happened to me before. I was in the hospital recovering from an emergency appendectomy and my DH called to say that our apartment was broken into, my brand new laptop was stolen, and our cat was missing. We finally found our poor scared kitty hiding in an upper kitchen cabinet but never got the computer back. I think it was someone who worked at the apartment complex. I hope you're able to get your home secured again!

@Westy99 - I'm in contact with the bump to get my old screen name back. I'm a serious oldie around these parts but my screenname is also so old that it didn't make it over when they converted the site. So, Krista and tech team are working to get AvidVertigo back and active. Trust me, I hate this screenname. LOL
Also, I am so worried of getting KU and stealing their thunder. I'm hoping I can build my relationship with the both of them. My brother and I have been better over the past few years since our parents passed but I've never been close to my SIL. I told her last night that I was hopeful that we could bond and become closer through all of this. They have no idea we have been trying since the beginning of the year.

WAYDTGKU: PNV, charting CM, temping, magnesium, CoQ10, B Complex, WaterPik, acupuncture

R/R: I went to acupuncture today and he asked if my stomach was okay after feeling my wrist (I guess for my pulse). He felt beneath my belly button and went down towards the fallopian tubes. Then he asked to see my tongue and put two needles in places that hurt near my outer shin / calf. Maybe ute goggles really do exist and he knew I'm having trouble ovulating this cycle!? (I do have reflux and hadn't eaten anything yet, so maybe I was just bloated...but still!)

CS/Q: According to FF, today and tomorrow are the last days of my FW this cycle, but temp, CM, and OPK show I haven't ovulated. In fact, today's temp was the lowest it has been since I started temping (aside from during AF). Last two cycles I ovulated on CD 20 and 21 and I have had 32-33 day cycles for most of the last few months. I'm worried that this one will be anovulatory. My longest cycle tracked on FF was 36 days and shortest was 26. I'm wondering why the chart shows 36 days possible this cycle, but the calendar shows 32. Any ideas on why? Oh, and why do I have dotted lines between CD 1 and 3? Last AF was the shortest I have ever had off BCP. Sorry my chart is messy. We traveled on the 9th and my temping got messed up. I also dropped a super low temp and slept way past my alarm another day, so hence the missing temps.

I would like to hang out with my paternal grandfather one more time. He was in a coma when I went to see him before he died. I want to hear his voice one more time and to talk with him about his family.

@ladystinson That's scary and not cool! Do you have homeowner's insurance? I'd also get a surveillance camera. You can get one for like $100.
@tripledaggerWed95976 I would have said CD 12 was O if it wasn't for that temp drop! Maybe your cycle will still have a 12 day LP, but will be longer? I also noticed you marked runny nose. Was that maybe a fever? Side note: I sometimes get a runny nose that is the stickiest right before I O. I remember this because I say I wish that my CM was the same consistency and it often is a day later! I should really start marking that on my chart to see if there really is a pattern.

Month/Cycle: 1/1 after a loss

WAYDTGKU: Monitoring temps, checking CM, and trying to stay healthy and in shape.

R/R: Last night was a tough one. This has been a hard year for me. Yesterday, I started missing my grandparents like crazy. I lost my grandpa in November, and then my grandma followed in March. I started crying out of nowhere because it occurred to me that what I wanted so much was to have a baby and show it to them. Instead, I lost my baby this month, and they are with my baby before I am. It's so backwards and not at all what I imagined.

On another note, I know this isn't a popular opinion, but I hate the term "rainbow baby." A cousin told me she hoped I get my rainbow baby, and I don't want my future baby to be tied to a reminder of my previous loss. The one I lost was its own person, and any new baby will be its own person. I know the term is meant to be positive and happy, but it's just a reminder of a tragedy to me.

CS/Q: Unless you have a crystal ball that can predict when I'll ovulate for sure, I've got nothing.

Queen Cleopatra of Egypt. I have always been fascinated by her, and I know so much of the negative views people have are based on Roman propaganda.
