Can I eat a turkey hotdog?

I know we cannot eat hot dogs, but what about a turkey hot dog that's fully cooked and HOT!

You can eat a turkey hot dog, a beef hot dog..any hot dogs, but like with everything, don't do it every day. I had 2 uncured beef hot dogs from Trader Joe's today. We grilled them and they were so good!

Moderation....

I had a craving for them last week and had an aversion to everything else. I either eat the dog or starve. I say go for it.

they can have nitrates in them like bacon or ham, so some people prefer to avoid it...like me Sad I havent had bacon, ham or hot dogs since I found out I was pregnant... you can find uncured hot dogs, ham and bacon at some stores though that dont have the nitrates

I ate 2 turkey hot dogs today. I have heard it is okay as long as they are not raw. Mine were fully cooked, warm, and wonderful!

my mom loves to reminisce about her pregnancy cravings and apparently she had hotdogs many days in a row...possibly for weeks... when she was preggers with me. and i turned out normal..for the most part..j/k.

I saw them at wal-mart. They were the only turkey dogs I could find and were really good.

MIL said she had at least 1 coney dog a day with DH for at least 6 months. He turned out strong, happy and healthy...and smart too! Just try to make sure you cook them properly. One now and again shouldn't be a big deal.
