@laurad75 I just CS your past charts and I see why you are upset... you don't seem to O on a consistent day each cycle. That can be super frustrating and I am sorry! At least you have the lines of communication open and hopefully will get some answers SOON!

@laurad75 sorry for the bad news.  FX you have a "busy" weekend & O sometime soon!

@rainbowturtles It depends on when you DTD and when you checked. It is supposed to be several hours. I'd say it's also probably more accurate after you have gone to the bathroom because you may have some of his stuff up in there.  ;)
@laurad75 Hoping you O soon and it's really obvious.
@MollyandD I can totally see why you would say that. I think I would feel the same.

@deadasthatsquirrel LOL! I think he would flip if he knew that I wanted that book

@EEL0824 TCOYF is such an important book if you really want to understand TTC and your fertility in general.  I would recommend the book to any woman whether they are TTC or TTA just to really have a handle on how everything works.  I think you can make the argument to your husband that reading it isn't just about getting pregnant but about understanding your body.  I read it months before we were TTC.

@laurad75 I have read (via many searches and LOTS of lurking) the book is a great one to read! I was thinking about getting it (I have a kindle, so no hard copy lying around) and after I read it talking to him about it.

TBH I didn't expect him to start freaking out the day I got my IUD removed but in his words "it just became real. This might actually happen"

  • Options
@ladystinson so sorry about the break in :( I sadly know that feeling all too well...violated, vulnerable :'( thinking of you
@LuND oh wow, my paternal grandparents...and actually my bio dad...survived the holocaust, too! My dad was born in Czechoslovakia in 1930; he and his sister were sent to an orphanage in England during the war but my grandfather actually survived being sent to Auschwitz (sp?). I couldn't even imagine! (ps: my dad was 19yrs older than my mom)
@NYTino24 I checked cm before HIO ;) I'll check again later this evening :)
@tripledaggerWed95976 as everyone else has said, you may be regular until you're not. But also wanted to add that if you do O late, there's no reason why your LP length would change. LP tends to stay close to the same for "most people" regardless of when they O. So if you O late, you might just end up with a longer cycle this time. I was going to give a math example but I feel ill and I'm sure you get the picture lol
  • Options
@rainbowturtles I never knew that about LPs! I really hope that if I did O late then that is the case for me.  Because the thought of having a 10 day LP scares me!
  • Options

@Cait32 I swear the link wasn’t in your signature when I first looked but now it is.  Unfortunately, I don’t have any experience with OPKs but it definitely looks like you could have O’d yesterday based on temps and CM.

@MollyandD Sorry you had such a tough night last night!

@laurad75 Sorry for the not so great news.  You could still O and just have a long cycle.

@deadasthatsquirrel Keanu was my first celebrity crush!  I used to have a “book” I put together that was stuff I found about him in various magazines.  I still think he’s hot!  I still watch it and 12 isn’t all that bad (to me, at least) but yeah, no one will ever be as awesome in the role as he was.

@EEL0824 I agree with @laurad75 that reading TCOYF is super helpful!  I’m not even done reading it and I plan on using it as a reference when checking fertile signs this month.

@nytino24 is your day 2 temp accidentally discarded?

@mollyandd my love it =creepy Internet hugs

@tripledaggerwed95976 I agree with @rainbowturtles  a later than usual O does not equal a shorter LP. Usually your LP is consistent in length give or take a day. So your cycle should just be longer this time

@westy99 O looks like cycle day 20 to me but a few more temps will tell for sure

@NYTino24 The reason the calendar shows 32 days is that it goes off of your average cycle days instead of either your minimum or maximum.

@BitterBetty12, no positive OPK for me on CD20 (today) either :( Mine seemed close around days 13-16 and then have gotten lighter. No temp spikes either. @JennyV56 I just went off Birth Control August 3rd. Maybe I'm having a tough time adjusting too. If you don't mind, what kind of pills did you take and for how long? I took Ocella for a little over 13 years and I took it continuously, so I had one period every 10th week.

@BertieMeetsGertie that Is a good sign!

@tripledaggerwed95976 fx that this is not an anovulatory cycle.

R/R: I still haven't ovulated yet (Still low temps and EWCM) which typically would be okay, I understand that cycles change. However, I already scheduled my HSG for next month and I hope they let me push it back! I'm also hoping my LP stays the same and doesn't get any shorter.

@rainbowturtles. Don't wait. Just do it!

@deadasthatsquirrel I take 600mg 2x daily during fw, or could do 3x if you got the 400mg ones.  I bought the 1200s the first time until I found out it was overkill, and also better to take multiple doses spread across yhe day than just one big one.  Taking it before sex, it won't have time to kick in.  12-hr, 2x daily during fw.

@NYTino24 If it's discarded but still within the range of the chart, the circle stays visible, but the line goes dotted and skips past it. FF is reading it as discarded, for some reason.

@mrsegan13 so here's my birth control story: I was on lomedia for the last 6 months, but prior to that I had been on trivora for almost 15 years.  I switched to lomedia for the last 6 months before our wedding so I could skip periods as needed up to the wedding and honeymoon and that worked perfectly. So I got off the pill on June 10th and had 2 periods in 3 weeks, then bounced into a pretty normal cycle the following month.  Then, it's like my hormones exploded starting in August. I've literally cried at some point every day this month over something - from sitcoms to work stress. I had all kinds of weird symptoms like dizziness, bloating, sore boobs, etc that I was sure meant I was KU (obviously not though).  My doctor said I should stabilize a little after 3 months so I'm hoping to feel like myself again soon.  All the emotions are the worst for me..I feel like I nutcase! : )

So I really hope you have a better time with it than I did!  Fx
