We did a ton of work on the nursery this weekend and I'm so excited! Still waiting on the Winnie the Pooh decal to go over the crib and we're in the process of painting the bookshelf, but it's coming along! (None of the furniture is centered yet because we're waiting another day or so for the paint to dry before pushing everything up against the walls).
@bnsmith85 I told my husband I was jealous of how awesome Bean's room looks and now he's scared I'm going to tackle our bedroom. It was definitely way too much fun to put together.
All of these nurserys look so great! I am so jealous! I've purchased a lot of things for our nursery but haven't done a thing yet! We still have to clean out the room and redo the floors. We are supposed to start next weekend- have to finish our mudroom first. And by we I mean FIL and H. They are starting to panic but for some reason I am not too concerned but I am eager to organize!
We started getting our nursery put together this weekend (finally!). There's even clothes in the dresser
I'm hoping that we can get a few things hung on the walls and then I'll post pictures. This past weekend has totally been the reality of baby joining us in less than 2 months.
@SoInLoveCJ2011@LGW2015 love love love the nurseries!!!! Everyone's rooms look amazing!!!!!!
finally just starting painting... Just waiting on all the trims and mouldings so we can hang the artwork! Nesting in full effect... Organized the closet just waiting to get furniture back from being painted so I can get the books out of the closet.
So happy to finally get to post some pictures. I finally stopped with the Olympic binge-watching yesterday to finish setting up. I still haven't put her clothes away, but almost done. The dresser turned out much better than I expected, I am not the most crafty person.
I am 222 comments behind on this thread, I haven't done a single thing in the nursery since my last picture but I finally have one thing to hang on the wall. I couldn't find cute frames anywhere that matched so I found these and will just use thumb tacks instead for my ultra sound pictures and stuff!
Ok, so our new frames and matting came in and we finally have them up. You guys were right... it looks WAY better. Also, these are brighter prints that we picked up so they help make the room pop. Also, the rug we picked out REALLY brings it all together. I can't get it all in the pic, but here's a screenshot. After my last post, I think I was a little hasty and ordered a new glider. Once it got here, I realized... huh... the old glider looks just fine. So we're returning the new one lol! This one is just too comfy. I fell asleep in it the other day while organizing things in there. Ok so here are some pics. Still have some things to add (I'm procrastinating on his name sign and mobile that I want to make, ugh!), but it's coming along! ETA - The "Be Our Guest" pillow isn't staying there lol, it's from our guest room and DH just put it as filler for now... silly guy, baby isn't a guest! He's here to stay!
Finally got some wall decor up! I'm so excited about the baby animal prints, I love them! I really wanted the ones I saw all over Pinterest, but they were like $25 a piece for an 8x10. I found these ones on etsy for $7 and my dad printed them out. The frames were only $5 at IKEA. It feels like the nursery is really coming together now that these are up!
@blonde1817 stop! Love this! Where did you find the prints on Etsy? I was going to order the wolf puppy from the Animal Print Shop but if they have it cheaper on Etsy- and you've had a good experience there- then I am all for checking it out! Love that mirror too!!
@blonde1817 they have a cute little lion cub in black and white! Not the wolf I wanted but I can make the change haha! I didn't realize how expensive that website was! I love the wolf pup but I can't justify spending $75 on a print that I would have to frame and mat myself because there is no way I am paying $175 for that!
@sjo_thetwins are those pompoms on the crib skirt? Diy? Let me know, that's awesome. I'm doing a diy tulle crib skirt if I can just get around to it already lol.

Yep, pompoms but definitely not diy- Hobby Lobby FTW!
And they are not on the crib skirt, they are attached to the crib itself.
This past weekend my parents and brother came over and we finally got the baby's room done - installed beadboard and painted. We've got Super Mario decals that aren't up yet. I'm hoping this color scheme is flexible - when the kid gets bigger we can change out the wall decals for whatever she likes.
@MrsHudson2014 I made a headband holder for DD using an oatmeal canister and cute scrapbook paper. I'm sure it would work for baby headbands too! Plus you can put barrettes, bows, etc inside he canister.
Our main focus have been getting our 3 year old's room set up since we just moved him out of baby's room. His room has lots of progress from when it was a guest room.
Baby's room has been a slower project, but the crib is set up (just currently filled with boxes from a project from big brother's room). But we've at least moved furniture around for preferred newborn placement and my husband has brought up the rocking chair we had in our basement - so one corner is finally set up.
Once we get pictures hung on the wall I hope to post more photos
@serenaxo84 sorry so late - I don't get notifications on TB mobile. They came from the target website in a bedding set, they are grey and white so many you can just get them as a stand alone item?
@sjo_thetwins thanks!!! I mobile bump most of the time too and hate that you don't get notifications! I ended up ordering a crib grey linen crib skirt off PBK, it was more than half off on today's one day only premier sale!

@nataliemaephotography thank you! I wasn't sure if I would like the colors at first.

I need a cute way to hang her headbands.
Edited cause I can't spell.
