@Hoping4Success that's awesome that you're starting acupuncture. It is so important to take care of yourself through this! I think it's also good to be a questioner with your RE. They work for us, you know? We are on this journey together, and having all of the information about your treatment and care is so important.
I'm doing ok. DH and I are heading to Alaska for a week in September, and we are going to get the tubal reversal scheduled after that.

@LSatturo126 Thanks!! Haha!! The twins are constantly seeming to take two steps forward and one step back. I will feel much more comfortable when they are able to breathe on their own, without the CPAPs and assistance. I have no idea when that will be though. Their feedings keep increasing, and they are slowly gaining the ounces. They are both still at 2 pounds though. I got to hold them both (at different times) for the first time this week. It was so special. I immediately got teary eyed!

@heather041413 i totally agree they do work foe us i am also questioning one things as well with bcp as my protocol with my low amh i also had minimal endo removed aling with fibroids in 2013 and ive read those bcp she is putting me in the stops the endo from flaring up now i dint even know if i have endo still or not it does come back but my old re said it was soo small she wouldnt even diagnose me with is so ill see once af arrived in about 1-2 weeks i will call with cycle day 1 and go from there that nice to get away somewhere after such a rough time with all this im really excited about accupunture I think it will help alot

Afm- I had my transfer today. I'm not feeling great about it. They transferred two because they were B quality. My RE said there was a 40% chance it would work. After all this time, stress, and heartbreak I just wish the chances were higher.

Ladies new update: Aunt Flo decided to come one week early soooooooo gonna start now!!! I go in Friday for day 3 and we go from there. I'm freaking out with nervousness! Yesterday they said she is measuring over two weeks ahead (side effect of gestational diabetes is big babies) so we are guaranteed an induction a few weeks early. So 8 weeks at the most left!! @LSatturo126 the girls are doing good. They got discharged from the hospital 2 weeks ago both weighing right over 4lbs. Jusy as the doctor said they would...they put on weight so much better at home. We left the hospital on a Tuesday and by Friday at their 1st appt with the peditrician they had each gained over 5 ounces. They both are well over 5lbs now. Having twins at home is super hard. I'm so sleep deprived that at one point I didn't even realize it was my birthday. They have their days and nights mixed up, which is no surprise because they were like that in utero. Still trying to get them sleeping more during the wee hours of the morning.

@Hoping4Success how are you doing? Hows acupuncture I did it for 8 sessions and on the pre and post on IUI etc but for me it was really pricey so with all these bills just not sure that i can keep up with it. My last session hurt, and i think i'm stressed with having to travel there after work and trying to get there before it closes just doesn't make it relaxing ugh!!! the things we try to help this process, hoping you're having a better experience with it!!

@LSatturo126 the girls are doing good. They got discharged from the hospital 2 weeks ago both weighing right over 4lbs. Jusy as the doctor said they would...they put on weight so much better at home. We left the hospital on a Tuesday and by Friday at their 1st appt with the peditrician they had each gained over 5 ounces. They both are well over 5lbs now. Having twins at home is super hard. I'm so sleep deprived that at one point I didn't even realize it was my birthday. They have their days and nights mixed up, which is no surprise because they were like that in utero. Still trying to get them sleeping more during the wee hours of the morning.
I can't wait to hear how everything goes post transfer. I'll keep u in my prayers

@Hopeful_mom I'm sorry your IUI didn't work but I feel more confident that the IVF will work for you. Don't do higher than 450 I read the directions and it said not to exceed that. That's what I did 450. Yay can't wait! so happy for you!
AFM I'm starting Estrace 2x a day till Wednesday morning for follow up. They are thinking around sept 6, but it may be sooner. Today I cut 16 inches off my hair and will be donating it. Feels so weird but good. A clean start!

heres something to make u all laugh started my meds 300 gonal 4 and 2 menipur. I had to race home from work and did it quickly at 9pm. Totally thought I got it right till I took the gonalf pen the next night and it was still 900. Meaning the pen malfunction and I stabbed myself for nothing. They might've mentioned all the noise the stupid thing makes So got it right on night 2 yay! Did wake up and have a terrible headache all day. Do u think it's from the meds?
back to the dr tomorr and see where am at. Should I have any expectations of where I should be @LSatturo126 I did call the dr and they said it was fine and not to worry. Hubby has 103 fever praying this doesn't screw up the cycle. Is that possible?

@Hopeful_mom. It's ok to miss your first night and btw you don't have to rush home to take the shot just take it before bed and try to stay near that time every night. It's hard to say if you are on track really no way other than ultrasounds and blood work. Don't panic and just relax. As far as the hubby having a fever, hopefully that will go away in a week and you should be fine. Hope that helps.

@Hopeful_mom has your RE given him a z pack? It has been standard protocol with my RE to give DH a z pack to take at the beginning of each ivf cycle we've done.

@kp214 doxicyclyne is what they prescribe but now hes on other meds to get rid of this. Praying he gets better fast and his daughter too, thats who got him sick. Its tough trying to deal with everything but still continuing on with my meds and putting my needs first. Seems I'm always taking the back burner and getting quite frustrated in the process. @LSatturo126 I didn't realize I could take them that late...wish i started it that way, no one knowing i'm doing this like my family - makes it tougher too.
Had my first u/s today and My question to the group is what are the expectations. I had 5 follies on the left but only 1 on the right, think the right side has been sleeping WHICH makes sense as the past few months on clomid the left side has been on vacation. Nervous its so low right now, I know its quality over quantity, just not sure if I need to be as concerned as i am right now. Thoughts?

I'm doing ok. DH and I are heading to Alaska for a week in September, and we are going to get the tubal reversal scheduled after that.
@LSatturo126 Thanks!! Haha!! The twins are constantly seeming to take two steps forward and one step back. I will feel much more comfortable when they are able to breathe on their own, without the CPAPs and assistance. I have no idea when that will be though. Their feedings keep increasing, and they are slowly gaining the ounces. They are both still at 2 pounds though. I got to hold them both (at different times) for the first time this week. It was so special. I immediately got teary eyed!

Afm- I had my transfer today. I'm not feeling great about it. They transferred two because they were B quality. My RE said there was a 40% chance it would work. After all this time, stress, and heartbreak I just wish the chances were higher.

@Hoping4Success how are you doing? Hows acupuncture I did it for 8 sessions and on the pre and post on IUI etc but for me it was really pricey so with all these bills just not sure that i can keep up with it. My last session hurt, and i think i'm stressed with having to travel there after work and trying to get there before it closes just doesn't make it relaxing ugh!!! the things we try to help this process, hoping you're having a better experience with it!!

@LSatturo126 I can't believe the time is finally upon us already, i first remember reading up and being here through this scary process. so excited for this journey and oddly enough I guess i might be on this journey with you...depends on what the dr says. I'm not doing bcp soooo hopefully a fresh transfer could get this ball rolling, i'm so nervous about it all. I'm a basket case already and i'm just getting started. Clomid made me cooky enough, but this process does too!! This is tough i'm already at this 8 months with "help" and still not there, i should've had 2 kids allergy ugh!!!

@Hopeful_mom I'm sorry your IUI didn't work but I feel more confident that the IVF will work for you. Don't do higher than 450 I read the directions and it said not to exceed that. That's what I did 450. Yay can't wait! so happy for you!
AFM I'm starting Estrace 2x a day till Wednesday morning for follow up. They are thinking around sept 6, but it may be sooner. Today I cut 16 inches off my hair and will be donating it. Feels so weird but good. A clean start!

heres something to make u all laugh started my meds 300 gonal 4 and 2 menipur. I had to race home from work and did it quickly at 9pm. Totally thought I got it right till I took the gonalf pen the next night and it was still 900. Meaning the pen malfunction and I stabbed myself for nothing. They might've mentioned all the noise the stupid thing makes
back to the dr tomorr and see where am at. Should I have any expectations of where I should be @LSatturo126 I did call the dr and they said it was fine and not to worry. Hubby has 103 fever praying this doesn't screw up the cycle. Is that possible?

@LSatturo126 I didn't realize I could take them that late...wish i started it that way, no one knowing i'm doing this like my family - makes it tougher too.
Had my first u/s today and My question to the group is what are the expectations. I had 5 follies on the left but only 1 on the right, think the right side has been sleeping WHICH makes sense as the past few months on clomid the left side has been on vacation. Nervous its so low right now, I know its quality over quantity, just not sure if I need to be as concerned as i am right now. Thoughts?
