  Our baby girl Elliana Leeyami was born on 8-17-16 at 12:55am weighed 7.63lbs and 19.5 long. I left my appointment this morning to maternity area and I was dilated 5cm which my OB was in shock because it is my first baby and everyone told me that was pretty good here in maternity was here at 11am by 2pm I had dilated just one cm so they gave me pitocin to start my labor pains more by I was able to handle pain until at 4pm Doc broke my water and at 6pm contractions got pretty strong at 7cm then I told them I needed the epidural because contractions were very intense than at 10pm I was fully dilated I started pushing at 11pm and pushed and finally the team to deliver got here and I was in so much pain with contractions and pushing doctor said 15 more mins and she is out I pushed and less than 2min she was out and arrived to this world. We delayed the umbilical cord and did skin to skin and had 2nd degree tear had to get stitched up and took nap both of us are doing great thank God. She is doing good at breastfeeding as well.

  @ShanRum3 has been admitted to L&D. Cytotec inserted. Walking around the halls to get things movin'! She's handling labor like a champ! Go mama!!

  Went in for my 40 week checkup and am now in l&d getting ready to be induced due to pre-e and him continually turning (he's head down today, yay!). If he flips again we'll be taken in for a c section, but we're crossing our fingers.

  Y'all! I was doing a ridiculous dance in the kitchen after dinner and my water broke! Headed to hospital with contractions 3 minutes apart. Still have lots of water left in me though so could be a long night. DH was too nervous to labor at home.

  Still at it here.. water was broken this afternoon and things got pretty intense for a while.  Finally got my Epidural and I'm feeling much better. Was 7 cm last I was checked around 9pm. Hoping to start pushing before midnight.

  Hang in there @ShanRum3! You're almost there! If you can rest and relax as much as you can right now so you have as much strength and energy as you can to push that baby out!! Good luck!

  I wish I had it on video. Who would have thought?! My husband told me about 5 seconds before it broke that I was going to shake him loose. 
  
  I couldn't replicate the moves if I tried but it was very much belly dancer inspired.

  Colin Andrew arrived at 1:44am on 8-18-16 Long induction that ended up with a perfect birth.  I'll post an announcement after I get some rest.

  Our sweet boy arrived at 1:19 am on 8/18. Name is stil tbd! But he was way bigger than estimated at 9 lbs 3 ounces and 22 inches long. I will post full story with photo later. Thanks for the support all!
