@reesaXden - Your news brought me to tears. I'm so happy for you!! Can't wait to see pictures! Congratulations on your little girl!!
@marikkita12 - Best of luck to you! I hope they feel that you're the right person for the job and that it all works out.
@marajay6 - Yikes! Glad he's ok with! I'm always amazed at how quickly kiddos bounce back, especially, in my experience, little boys. If nothing else he'll have an awesome battle scar to show off!
Finances.....ugh. We're so fortunate that I qualify for STD this time around and DH has PTO he can take. Last time I was out of work at 30 weeks for bed rest (mid-October), had them on 3 December and went back to work on 1 February. I worked retail so it's not like I made a ton of money but it was something. I'm more concerned now for when I go back to work and have two infants in daycare. We really discussed DH being primarily a stay-at-home dad and working part time nights and weekends. For now though it still pays for him to work full time.
Maybe I'm just in a mood but I'm really getting tired of the usual baby questions from strangers. Like I kind of want to wear a button that says: Due Date: Sept 26 Sex: Boy First Child? Yes Name: No name Feeling: I'm doing pretty average. Do they sell buttons like this? I just don't feel like the chit chat from random people. A stranger's pregnancy cannot be that interesting.
@jhems776 is it bad that I've started telling strangers that it's my first kid? When I tell people I have a 3 & 2yo, they seriously look at me like I'm a Dugger. I always feel the need to clarify "but this is definitely our last one".
@mrsvoorhees I considered the idea that she might have gotten them something personalized and that maybe that's why she's upset, but it seems pretty unlikely to me. My mom's never been the personalization type and she knows I don't care for it. Maybe, though?
@themaritimemama Thank you! I had some anxiety about the name change yesterday (because I feel bad that my mom is upset, honestly), but the more I run it through my head, the happier I am about it.
@reesaxden Congratulations! I can't wait to meet your little girl and I'm so glad she's finally in your arms!
@Jhems776 Thankfully, I can take Fred with me nearly everywhere and his adorable furry butt is way more interesting than my watermelon belly, so I've been able to avoid most staredowns and intruding questions regarding pregnancy.
Plus, I'm already used to stares/crazy questions because he elicits so many. Pro tip - pretend you can't hear. I almost always pretend I just can't hear people inquire about Fred, which works out, because most of the time I actually can't hear them anyway, and just skip along on my merry way. After two years of "what kind of dog his he? How old is he? Where can I get one?" when I'm trying to quickly grab groceries, I've learned to give no shits about being rude back when it comes to rude/nosy questions. When people do ask things like "is it a girl or boy?" and I can't act like I didn't hear/notice them, I'm often like "i'm fine thanks, have a great day!" ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Fight awkward with awkward.
Congratulations @reesaXden! I can't wait to hear more about her!

Name opinions? I think we're 99% decided (DH won't commit 100%) on Ruby for FN. Which MN do you like with Ruby? Half are DH's suggestions and half mine, of course no overlap
@Sbrown721 This topic came up several times on my first BMB (S14). It's not an possibility for me this time, but it was for my first. My thoughts then was that I wouldn't mind having something happy to celebrate on such a tragic day and that it helps signify moving forward.
@PoodleDoodleOoo that's so funny that the "love stitch" was brought up in your last class. It's def a thing!! I find it even funnier because that dad is announcing to the whole room that his penis is small and he needs a tighter "hallway" for his hot dog

Haha! This take on it makes me far less offended that some guy would actually ask them to stitch his wife/GF up tighter.
@fireflygirl12 Ruby Elise!!! I so want to use Elise for this baby's middle, but so far, H isn't on board. I'm still saving it though, hoping he will come around!
Re: August Randoms!!!

July: Patriotic Fails
Due 9/14 so definitely a possibility. And it's not a birthday that I want my child to have.
