@LakeR2014 - just did some googling, couldn't find what you're looking for either - darn. Have you considered making a quick fleece tie-blanket, or getting baby something like this?
We got Emmett a little Teddy Bear with football stitches on his belly that says "Touchdown!" on his feet. Touchdown bear came to the hospital with us for when E was born and took all of his monthly pics with him as well to show Emmett growing Might be an alternative.
@AnnaS930 We have the same thing! LO's big cousins gave the baby a Bills bear when they found out we were expecting. It's super cute! We'll bring that to the hospital and use that for the monthly photos. I'm found and determined to find a sleeper...if not I'm bound and determined to make one! (Maybe....) lol.
@LakeR2014 - there's the spirit!! Having a craft to get done as you near the big day helps time go by quicker in my opinion. NFL Fabric, especially fleece is usually easy to find..Fleece might be warm but if it's just a going home outfit it could be perfect for the Fall
@LakeR2014 have you looked at Etsy? I looked at some things on there and didn't see a Bills sleeper, but lots of cute onesies and hats! Plus, a lot of the shops will do custom orders so you could probably get a sleeper made or a shirt with exactly what you want.
@LakeR2014 I was at Target last night and saw some bills outfits. Don't remember the sizes though...but you could always get the outfit and then make a hat to go with it? Have you tried Laux? They've always got great stuff too.
I found another Halloween onesie at target last night. I've got two now and pumpkin booties. Give me all the Halloweenie stuffs!
@reesaXden - Thank goodness!!! Thinking of you and hoping it all speeds up now. Can't wait to hear that she's here and everyone is doing well!!
@LakeR2014 - I didn't find anything I was particularly in love with either when Robert and Elleanore were born so I made some Vikings onsies for them. Plain white onsies, puffy paint, iron onsies and voila! I had fun make them and they were definitely unique.
Guys. My in-laws should be here today. Uuuuugggghhhhhhhhh. The last thing I want to do is play nice after I've given birth. Thank God DH told them we will see them tomorrow bright and early before the c-section since we have stuff going on all day. As if my anxiety hasn't gotten bad enough over the impending c-section, having to deal with my in-laws makes me want to scream.
@reesaXden yay for doctors who actually want to help! Shouldn't be long now!
@UnwritteN12 I was hoping to check in with you today and see how you're doing! Tomorrow is a big day. Just make your H deal with the ILs and hopefully they'll be gone by the time you get home!
@reesaXden: so glad that you got some help. I've never heard of the doctor not being able to break your water once you are in labor. Good luck and can't wait to see your baby girl!
@UnwritteN12: I'm so excited for our first twin birth!
More babies coming soon! So excited for you @UnwritteN12. I hope everything goes well tomorrow. Sorry about the inlaws. I definitely understand. I agree with @AnnaS930, sometimes screaming is the only way Hopefully your DH can keep them out of your hair.
I officially have an interview for the position above mine. No date yet - it's over webcam so I am just going to assume they know I'm 35+ weeks pregnant (they chose not to fly me out so this may indeed be a true assumption). Not what I was planning on doing a week and a half before going on maternity leave but super excited!!! Now I get to interview prep like a maniac.
I am dreading today!!! I work from 7 to 6, am taking a CPR refresher class from 7 to 8, then I finally get to drive the 45 minutes home before passing out. I'm already exhausted!
We did maternity photos last night and Layla's dresser came in yesterday! DH is picking it up tonight then hopefully putting it together. Also getting a cube organizer for the toys in the livingroom (something we've been talking about doing for nearly a year). This is my favorite past about lists... crossing things off of it makes me feel so accomplished!
My MIL (who I can't stand.. see multiple posts over the past 9 months) is going to be in Florida from August 25-28, I will be 38-39 weeks along... hoping that's the cue for this baby to arrive. bhahaha, there's something evil about me.
@reesaXden I've never met you personally but over the past few months I've been able to tell that you're one of the strongest women I've ever seen. You've always pushed through every bump in the road and kept a positive mind frame even when it has seemed impossible to do so! So you've GOT this! I'm so glad they broke your waters and hopefully that sweet little girl will be snuggled up to you and your DH soon.
@UnwritteN12 I am somewhat dreading all the visits so I don't envy you. I hope you're able to have it be just you guys whenever you want it to be in the next few days and that there are no issues with the ILs!
I had to go back to a cardiologist this morning and they prescribed me a beta blocker for my barely irregular heartbeat... It lowers blood pressure and my blood pressure is already typically in the 100/60 range... Does that sound crazy to anyone else? I don't think I'm going to take it. I'll ask my OB. They also want me to wear a heart monitor for two more weeks. Exactly what I want to do in this heat. Bleh.
On the bright side, new babies soon. Excited to see our first girl and first twins!
@Steephers123 - The Bump has her last active on 8/1, so over a week ago. Hope it's just some crappy internet stuff going on... Come back to us @SarahDarah333 !!
@reesaXden Yay for the new doctor! Hoping things are progressing nicely for you and that you get to snuggle that sweet, sweet girl very soon (if not already)!
@UnwritteN12 Tomorrow!!!!! Ahh, I'm so excited for you! Good luck with the IL's (I have no advice there, I'm in a similar predicament...so if you learn any magic IL coping secrets, be sure to pass them along!) Can't wait to "meet" your babes!
My random for the day - last night was the second night in a row I tossed and turned all night fretting about things instead of sleeping. Last night, I was worrying about labor, delivery, the timing of everything, where DD would be when it happened, etc etc. I feel a little better now in the light of day but am still fearful of all of the unknowns. I think I can honestly say I'm panicking more this time than I did as a FTM, which is a little unexpected.
On the flip side, the previous nights' mental struggle was a little more entertaining. Some friends got a giant box of frozen perogies from a coworker and offered us some. We agreed that they could just drop them off on our doorstep sometime that evening. Well, I proceeded to forget about it completely. Randomly, at 2am I woke, remembering the perogies at our front door! So I ran down, got them and put them in the freezer. Then I realized I had spent the entire evening walking around the house in just a T-shirt and underwear (due to limited wardrobe options - you know, pregnant lady problems). I was busy doing laundry, dishes, cleaning, etc etc so I was definitely up and about for most of the night. There's a decent chance my friend's poor husband had to witness a glimpse of that through a front window. So I laid in bed thinking and wondering about that for hours. Of course.
@jas1982 I've had to deal with heart palpitations since I conceived this baby, it was my first sign that I was pregnant though I didn't know it at the time. All of the doctors I've seen have said while it's not a main pregnancy symptom it is fairly common in a lot if women. All of them however have said beta blockers should NOT be used during pregnancy except for in severe cases. I would definitely hold off on taking them until you speak to your OB.
So I just sat here and calculated out how much money I'd be bringing in during leave versus how much I would typically make in those 12 weeks. I'll be using some paid time off, have 5 weeks of STD which is a little over half my pay, and taking a few weeks completely unpaid. My husband is also planning on 4 weeks off, 2 of PTO and 2 unpaid.. over those 12 weeks we'll have something like $8K less coming into the house. First.. I feel incredibly fortunate to have such a well-paying job to be missing out on this kind of money.. but our expenses (mortgage, cars, daycare, etc) are based on the income that we make.. and thinking of having that much less come in over the 3 months is a little frightening... ok, a LOT frightening.
@AnnaS930 thank you for looking at that, I always forget that info is there when I'm mobile! Not to even mention I need someone following behind me picking up my brain these days, for all that my pregnancy/mom brain is doing.
@AnnaS930 Any chance you can freeze daycare expenses and still keep your place there since E has been going there for so long? Or will he be attending daycare throughout maternity leave?

It's not something that we asked about since we always have to pay even if we take him out for a week of vacation, etc. Also, he loves it there and we want him to keep his routine so his attendance will be spotty at first but will pick back up as maternity leave goes on, so definitely worth the expense for him to have an outlet and play with his buddies (and for me, no lie).
Last maternity leave didn't set us back too much, although we had no daycare cost and 1 less car payment (I think?), so I'm hoping we'll be able to work it all out, just seems daunting. We have a savings account we can dip into as needed, but I hate touching that money!! wahhh.
Had my growth u/s! Baby girl is thankfully on track and looked absolutely great and beautiful. She's got chubby cheeks, full lips, a chubby belly and long little legs. The OB was very happy and said it looks like the GD did not affect her growth in the slightest, all the measurements were spot on at around 6lbs 4oz, I'll be 36w in a few days. She does have the chord around her neck, twice! It's typically a non-issue but my OB recommended I not labor at home as I had planned just so they can be safe and monitor her as she descends. If I'm honest, I'm a little scared of her going into distress while pushing and ending up with a c-section but I'm trying not to borrow trouble and hang on to the fact that this is generally not a problem.
@Reesaxden - can't wait to hear all about your little girl! You're doing great, and hooray for the new doc!!
@AnnaS930 - I made the same calculations - we'll be losing about $6,000 on my maternity leave. DH and I can swing it, but damn, it makes me feel pretty terrified! Especially when we aren't 100% certain how our household expenses will change once baby is here, and we'll have Christmas right around the corner (which is a huge gift giving ordeal with DH's family... usually costs us upward of a grand each year because they go all. out. - don't ask me about my feelings on this right now). I think I'm going to have to convince DH to give everyone framed pics of LO this year and that is it.

@reesaXden Thinking about you and your baby girl!
@UnwritteN12 I can't believe tomorrow is baby day!! Can we do a MOMs check in today?
