Oh thank god!!!! The guy who runs the tests was there this morning when the phlebotomist was taking my blood, and he saw he extremely nervous I was, so he broke the rules a bit and called me as soon as the results came in. BFP. Wow. Somewhere in the 400s, I'll find out for sure when I get the proper call later today. I'm surprised, excited, and cautious. I know that one positive beta doesn't mean I'm going to have a baby in 9 months, but hopefully it does!

@ashley3740 agree with pp. OHSS can manifest or get worse with pregnancy, however. But since you're losing weight, it's not likely you have OHSS. From what my doctor said, you would start to gain weight, not lose. I think it's too early to expect a BFP on an HPT, so I wouldn't worry too much!! FX for you!!

@gatorlorit LONGEST.WEEK.EVER. Now that we are almost there, I'm freaking out a bit. I haven't had any symptoms other than cramping (for sure thought AF was coming today) and sore boobs. Oh and I'm a Rollercoaster of emotions. All of which usually happen before AF. So I'm really not sure what to expect tomorrow. All I know is that my lining couldn't have been any thicker, our embryo was nice and healthy, and i couldn't have been more cautious abt my health these last 10 days! Letting these positive thoughts get me through the next 24 hours. Hope you are staying sane!! FX we both get good news tomorrow!!!
Thanks @babylonghorn16! I actually ended up at the ER today due to a passing out spell. But, I did have a BFP of urine and blood! I'm 7dp5dt and it was 75. Not getting too excited because of four past miscarriages, but it's a good start! Good luck to all!
Hello. Just did our first iui with Femara and Ovidrel on 8/4, how do you survive the 2ww? I do my test on 8/18. I've had slight abdominal cramping, lower back pain and hot flashes like crazy. Trying to stay busy and keep myself distracted.
@LittleSunshine Thanks! I can't help but compare it to my previous pregnancy where I was over 500 at 9dp5dt, but maybe a bit lower will be better this time around!

@JAH87 welcome!! I try to cook a lot of new recipes in the TWW to keep my mind off of everything. Seems to help!! That, and I picked up piano a couple months ago during my IVF cycle... that's been a huge help too! Just anything that'll make the days go by quickly! I try not to sit around too much. GL to you!!!

I was there bright and early to get my blood drawn. My clinic is right by a Krispy Kreme, so I treated myself to a donut afterwards. I'm obsessively checking the battery on my phone to make sure it's not draining (it's not) and making sure the ringer is on (it is). I'm also totally going to be stalking this board. Makes for a super productive day at work, no?

@babylonghorn16, @MsOhanaJ and @gatorlorit GL today!! I'm anxiously dying over here. I also got up way early this morning and had bw at 7 this morning. I had the choice of doing it at my clinic 45 min away or here in town but when I do it in town they have a courier that delivers the sample to my clinic in the afternoon then I get the results after closing so I opted for the drive so I can get results around noon. It's funny cause I'm also checking my phone a million times and I treated myself to a decaf frape at Starbucks on my way to work this morning.
This is killing me cause I'm having symtoms but I still have that what if it's just the meds or my mind? I'm exhausted the heat is killing me and those AF full/crampish feelings in my abdomen. I don't do fish well and last pregnancy I couldn't take my DHA pills cause the fish taste was the only thing that made me sick. I picked up fish for DH Sat and almost puked all the way home. That smell was soooo strong and blah. I'm really hoping this is all really good signs and not just my head.

my doctor's office still hasn't called, which i know is a bad sign. my nurse admitted that if it's good news, they call earlier, but bad news they wait for the doctor to call. i'm hopefully getting a call any minute, but losing hope.

My doctor just called. The second I heard her voice, I knew it was bad news. My beta came back at 11. She said to continue on my meds, and they will recheck to see if it goes up on Wednesday, but she wasn't hopeful I'm on day 12, so I know it should be much higher. She said she has seen one other case where it can recover, but those aren't really great odds. Since this is my second chemical pregnancy, she will order some chromosome testing for my DH and I.
I'm crushed, and can't even turn to my usual pity party ingredients of wine and bubble bath just yet. I joked around with her that I can't, and she said wait till Wednesday. So she's not really expecting a turn around either.

My third beta is 4,000 something and the heartbeat ultrasound is scheduled for next week. It is starting to feel real, but I will still be anxiously waiting for the heartbeat.

@babylonghorn16, @MsOhanaJ and @gatorlorit GL today!! I'm anxiously dying over here. I also got up way early this morning and had bw at 7 this morning. I had the choice of doing it at my clinic 45 min away or here in town but when I do it in town they have a courier that delivers the sample to my clinic in the afternoon then I get the results after closing so I opted for the drive so I can get results around noon. It's funny cause I'm also checking my phone a million times and I treated myself to a decaf frape at Starbucks on my way to work this morning.
This is killing me cause I'm having symtoms but I still have that what if it's just the meds or my mind? I'm exhausted the heat is killing me and those AF full/crampish feelings in my abdomen. I don't do fish well and last pregnancy I couldn't take my DHA pills cause the fish taste was the only thing that made me sick. I picked up fish for DH Sat and almost puked all the way home. That smell was soooo strong and blah. I'm really hoping this is all really good signs and not just my head.

my doctor's office still hasn't called, which i know is a bad sign. my nurse admitted that if it's good news, they call earlier, but bad news they wait for the doctor to call. i'm hopefully getting a call any minute, but losing hope.
