My son holds his head up pretty well on his own when I've got him on my shoulder and we've only done chest tummy time, if that brings any call thoughts to other moms.
Feeling like my mom of the year nomination is already thrown away... Fed LO around 10pm and we must have had her awake too much because she didn't make a sound until 4am to eat. I know I should've set an alarm for feeding but lately she's been hollering before my alarms go off
FTM here. Tummy time has been on my chest, so good there. I get a shower after his 6am(ish) feeding - I roll his P&P into the bathroom so I can still see him and shower.
We do tummy time on my chest and on the ground she has very strong neck muscles and can lift and turn her head. And it seems to help when she is gassy. I am so tempted to let her sleep on stomach as she sleeps so much better that way when she is on my chest than when she sleeps on her back

I've been debating the same thing! I haven't done it yet because I'm already paranoid when she sleeps, but I want to.

My confession: While everyone is dressing their babies in cute outfits, I still have mine wear the white shirts they get in the hospital and swaddle cuz I find that it's easier to just unravel the swaddle to change her diaper than to undress her. It is only when we go out in public do I dress her in a cute outfit.

I'm supposed to be putting clothes on her? Haha! It's averaging 90 here most days and we don't have AC, naked is the way to go! Even when we do get dressed to leave the house I've been putting her in rompers, I feel like she gets too hot and sweaty with sleeves or pants, especially in the carseat.
I had to deal with a poop explosion this AM that ended up crusted all down the back of one of her legs. I briefly debated just jumping in the shower with her to clean her off before I grumbled and just scrubbed it off with a wipe.
I realized after his bath that DS must have pooped in his bath. It looked like it was a super tiny amount that I saw and I didn't notice when he did it. Just rinsed the bath out with hot water and then gave DD a bath in the tub I rinsed the baby bath in. So sanitary.

Carters has these button kimono tops, best things ever. Ours was rocking the plain white short sleeve ones and a diaper because the heat wave has been brutal.
Hubby was carrying DD into bath tonight when she shit all over the bathroom floor. They both stood there looking at me while I laughed so hard I cried. I should have helped right away but couldn't hahahaha.
I took two baths today still haven't been cleared officially but I'm a month out on Monday and could not give a flying eff with my back seized up and one of them I took with DD which was such a sweet and wonderful bonding experience!
Just got our wedding video back over a year and several months after we got married so naturally i choose the first motn feeding to watch it and just cried happy tears all over baby while nursing haha sorry baby!
I just dropped salad on my kid while he was sleeping on my lap and licked the dressing off his arm since I didn't have anything to clean it off within arm's reach. I think I eat almost every meal over his head these days.

@TiffRox81 hahaha so glad I was at home ... would have been a disaster if I wasn't lol
@winnie1122@stellaluna14 I definitely eat over her head and drop things on it lol usually chips with dip and her hair gets crumby and crusty from dip droppings hahaha no shame, i gotta eat. ..
I was changing LO on the bed in the middle of the night and she decided to pee extra once I had the diaper off all over the sheet on my side. Definitely just threw a towel on it and went back to sleep.
M spit up on my husband's pillow last night before he got in bed. I just wiped it off with a burp cloth and didn't even tell him because I forgot haha. Oh well.
I took a stool softener and farted thinking it was a fart .... nope, not a fart ... lol
I wish i could do that... lol. I've pooped twice since dd was born (2 weeks pp) and the last time I did, it felt like I was pooping razor blades even though I've been taking colace like it's my job.
I meant to give Aubrey a bath today but ran out of time before having to leave the house with her. So I used a baby wipe and wiped under her arms, around her neck and over her head and face to clean her up so she didn't completely smell like spit up lol
Went to a wedding today where my daughter decided to spit up all down my dress and create a nice pool of formula in my bra. I ended up sticking napkins in my bra so I could finish my cake before we left.
And my son has officially welcomed me into being a mom. He peed on my leg yesterday. Can't even be mad because of his distance from the changing pad to my leg. I had just gotten out of the shower too.
@thepen15ismighty Lol! I hit the trifecta a couple days ago. He peed through his diaper onto me, a hour later (after I'd changed my pants) he leaked poop onto my lap and later that same day he forcefully spit up all into my brand new nursing bra. Welcome to motherhood I guess.
Mine piggy backs off these. Little man peed off of his changing table, about 3-4 feet across the room straight into his Daddy's NEW shoe! (With that nice memory foam stuff in it) Soaked that sucker into a puddle. My confession is: I was tired and forgot, so I didn't do anything about it. When I woke a little later I remembered but it was pretty much dry, so I shrugged it off and went and ate!
Today I went to the market to pick up some easy lunch and dinner options. For whatever reason I tried to juggle the things I was grabbing with one hand and push the stroller with the other. When everything I was holding started to tumble I let go of the stroller to catch my groceries. The stroller proceeded to roll down the aisle and crash into the potato chip display. Oops.
I have a slow eater and I foresee using the preemie nipples for quite awhile. I will prop her bottle up on a blanket or small pillow so she can take her time. But lately little miss giraffe legs who doesn't like her feet covered up has been kicking everything off of her and then her bottle rolls away and she yells in frustration lol. This does not help my laziness.
I've gotten my days so mixed up due to being off, no sleep, and the kids being off I lost track of when I gave my older 2 a bath till it was time to go somewhere and I realized they needed one

Get crumbs, ice cream, BBQ sauce on him at least once daily (as he is generally attached to my boob non stop)

Despite the last two weeks of pregnancy being uncomfortable, I really miss my baby belly.
