@ah825 I've been uncomfortable since I got home from work. But mine is hurting at my ribs. It's better since moving and eating, but it was really uncomfortable no matter how I sat earlier. Hope you find some relief soon!
It's been going on a couple days now and I occasionally get sharp pains in my inner thigh and vag too. I'm a FTM so I really don't know what feelings are normal!

Could be gas, could be need to poop, could be a contraction or it could be baby beating on your ribs.
@Ah825 sharp pains in your vag are probably lightning crotch. It's just baby kicking either your cervix or nerves, I'm not sure which it is, but that's completely normal!
Some people mentioned doubling up on the mattress pad and crib sheets, I hope that's okay. I feel more assured in our Owlet purchase - SIDS is definitely a huge fear of ours and I can't even.

I didn't double up until she was a good roller, btw. She only peed small amounts so I wasn't worried about wetting the bed. But once she got to about 7 months, I added another and she's peed through her diaper a few times.
Question about sunscreen...I know it is not recommended for babies. At what point is it ok? Do we just use sun shading instead? Luckily, with babies born in September it's not going to as big of a worry compared to a summer baby.
@Sbrown721 - I thought babies were supposed to use sunscreens with zinc oxide (physical blocker) and no nano particles, which can be absorbed through the skin.
@Sbrown721 ok after six months. And make sure it's sunblock and not sunscreen. You want one with zinc or titanium in it.
I thought the difference between sunscreen and sunblock was nothing. Like pop and soda or something. (I never hear anyone say "sunblock".) When I look it up, Dr.Google agrees with you, but my Babyganics "sunscreen" has titanium oxide and zinc oxide in it and says on the label that it blocks uva and uvb.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Apparently the terms sunscreen and sunblock are used interchangeably so that's super helpful. But the difference to my understanding is while they both block the rays, sunblock does it by acting as a barrier on top of the skin while sunscreen does it while absorbing into the skin. That's why sunblock is considered safer for babies.
I was wondering if anyone has found any relief from swelling by taking a warm bath with Epsom salts? I'm not usually one for baths...like ever. Even if it doesn't help with the swelling, I feel like a warm bath would be really good for my aching muscles right now.
