@canavara I hope you chose to finish OITNB! eta... I realized I only looked at Page 1 of this thread -- you watched Stranger Things!
Guys I leave for vacation tomorrow and I am sitting on the couch bumping. I haven't even started packing. Neither has the husband, right now he's messing with digital movie copies! WTF happened to our motivation?? Sometimes I wish I had a personal assistant here to say, listen your schedule looks like this, get off your butt and LETS GO!

@cabu14 We just left our vacation spot, but last week we packed in an hour at midnight before leaving at 6 am. I'm not saying that you *should* do that, but I'm also not saying you should stop watching your movie either.
@cjs260 Love that gif, Broad City is seriously one of my favorite shows ever.
I'm seriously losing my mind over here. While I was vacuuming, a part fell off of my vacuum cleaner and I cannot for the life of me figure out where it was before. There are no extra places to put it. I guess I'll stash it in a closet and hope I don't ever need it.
Yeah I totally did not finish OITNB first. That's what Sunday is for though right?
ETA: I'm actually looking forward to it more now though. I'm about halfway through and just wasn't getting into it as much as the previous seasons so I'm hoping it picks back up!
Along the lines of awesome TV/movies, I finally got my husband to watch The Princess Bride this week. And he loved it! Now we can both get to constantly quote it, hooray!
Speaking of marinating rage (@TinaBelcher) I just loudly yelled at the teenage punks in the middle of our local Dairy Queen who nearly ran over my husband and son cutting through parking spots at a velocity way higher than they should have been. They didn't anticipate we'd be going to the same place they were. He turned about 6 shades of red and his friends all hung their heads. Yep, I've turned into that kinda Mom. All the adults around me (because you know I'm still not an adult yet at 32) smiled at me telling me good job. Lol Vindication for my rage. I was really sharp tongued, loud and mean. The whole store kinda stopped.
@BrennansMom2012 ohhhh the parking lot rage. I was pulling out of a spot forwards the other day, not even backing up, and this woman came whipping around the corner going like 50 so I slammed on my brakes. I kept it together and waved her through until she yelled at me like it was my fault she was driving like an asshole. I lost it. It's summer, there are kids EVERYWHERE in parking lots, slow down and watch where you're going!
@cjs260 I found oitnb a bit lack luster. Maybe it's because I had to watch it in 4 minute chunks due to the toddler...but it didn't do it for me. Sidenote: this show makes me an expert on American female incarceration conditions. It's basically greys anatomy...
@ThePax89 I'm pretty positive I can remove a massive brain tumor now because of Grey's Anatomy. And still make it home in time to get sloppy on tequila.
I'm sick and whiny today. Truthfully most of the whiny is on my head and on this board... I've slept most of today, and last night. I'm actually eating substance right now. But I asked H to go get me Italian bread last night to eat with soup. I've been thinking about it since... still no bread. We live 5 minutes from the store... Also I never watched greys anatomy. Loved House though... after 1 1/2 episodes I decided OITNB was dumb and couldn't handle it anymore. I don't understand the excitement.
@sagoon I stay off FB the vast majority of the time, but when I get on, I just started hiding people who were the habitual posters of political mess. I'm very liberal, but the most of my FB friends from back home are extremely conservative, so I just don't post/read political things to keep the peace.
Trying to put 13 month old DD down for a nap. She keeps stroking my face, hugging, and kissing me. It's adorable but she totally is doing to put off nap time. I don't know whether to be amused or frustrated! Oh, toddlers.
I'm usually a watch an entire show all the way through on Netflix kind of person but Buffy really messed me up! I forgot how dark and not fun it got after she saved Dawn. So now I'm bouncing around shows and it's bumming me out. I've been trying with Supernatural for a month and I keep getting distracted
@sagoon I've read that you can! Only I can't remember how to do it. I just started hiding people and/or unfriending over really intense stuff. I deleted a friends mom over some super hateful political stuff then had the friend call me out on it. Like, seriously?
I got some "I'm trying to be subtle and decide if you're pregnant or just fat" looks today from some ladies at our church this morning when they stopped by with the monthly newsletter and I couldn't figure out a way to be like "I'm pregnant so stop looking at me" without being super awkward. A couple people know but we certainly haven't made any huge sweeping announcements at church so I keep hoping it'll work it's way through the grapevine so I can avoid more staring.
I had the same thing in Sunday. I'm definitely starting to show, and the dress I was wearing made me actually look bigger than I am. I've announced to family and work, but no Facebook or other "announcements" yet. I don't even know how to do that. Like make an announcement in Sunday school? How awkward is that? I guess I'll just let them keep side eyeing me until one of them asks.
I've done the same thing at work. I told a few people and figured it would work its way around quickly enough, but have had a few people eyeballing me for a few days before randomly coming up to me and announcing "You're pregnant!" I guess when they started asking around about why I was suddenly getting a belly, someone caught them up to speed. Ha!
@karaelaine1991 that's pretty sweet. My DD hasn't napped in 5 days!
Oh no! I hope she's at least sleeping well at night. I told my mom a few weeks ago that ever since DD turned one in June I feel like I'm just counting down the hours between nap time... I love her, but that girl's exhausting!

I'm not sure what season of Supernatural you're on, but it tends to get more addictive the further in you get because they start focusing more on overarching story lines rather than individual cases. The character development over the years is quite excellent. I also feel you on Buffy, but I could watch the musical episode every day.
Can facebook just go back what it used to be? I love seeing family and friends, how their lives are going, the kiddos growing.... But can people just pretend like they don't have a political/controversial opinion anymore and just post about their personal business again? Yeesh. Save that shit for twitter or something... lol
