I didn't take any pictures myself at my shower! My friends threw it at a local dessert place, which was so fun. Got some good stuff as well as gift cards, so I ordered our crib and stroller with the help of those gift cards and the amazon 15% completion discount. We still need some things ( we have no diapers!) BUT now I feel like we know what we need and can really get the nursery done ! Only pic I have so far is my outfit:
We were showered with so much love. I told my SIL & best friend hosting that I didn't want it to look like a baby shower all in certain color theme (wanted gender neutral theme). Rather, a BBQ with some garden like decor. Guests described it as a BBQ with a bit of elegance. They (hosts) nailed it with all these little details.
Dessert spread:
Our friends homebrewed two kinds of beer for the shower (I was SO tempted but I resisted...just a few more wks):
Other decor and some game photos:
In terms of gifts: Some BBB registry items were not updated so we got a few repeats. I also think we now have 3 Goodnight Moon's and 2 Sophie the Giraffe (teether). Got some cute Westie onesies (big brother is a furbaby). Perks of not telling people baby's gender? Getting other essential items instead of repeat pink or blue clothing!
Memorable gifts: Westie big brother love onesies, my fave Sriracha sauce sippy cup, and impressive grill/baby bassinet made out of 200 diapers:
Lastly, in lieu of cards, guests were asked to bring a book. We now have a library for the LO. DH better get to putting up the shelves this weekend!
Here are a few pictures from my shower. My sister is a pastry chef and made the cute cookies. The theme was pink and gray just like the nursery. It was amazing and I couldn't have asked for more!
We had a "shower" at work today for the three expecting lawyers, one late July, one early August (me), and one early October. Delicious cake and visiting mostly, and some giftcards. We survived the awkwardness, so that's the best part! Lawyers make awkward shower guests...
My sprinkle for baby boy was Sunday, which was coincidentally also my birthday. It was very nice, hot outside, but a nice day overall. Baby boy will be decked out! As you can see, DD stole the show during gift opening haha. And I had to include a pic of my hair, it was on point! Also, I had a completely different dress planned, but I got this one in my Stitch Fix box last Thursday and it was a game changer!
Had my hometown baby shower Sunday. It was lovely. I felt very supported and loved. We painted onesies, it was at my Mother's house and my Mom made me an adorable quilt for the baby. We are team green so we had a baby godzilla theme, which translated into lots of dinosaurs.
We don't do baby showers in Ireland, and the effort put into some of these absolutely blows me away! I've seen weddings with less effort. You ladies have some awesome family and friends

Ok, I want to just come and spend a week wherever you are lol! So beautiful and looks so relaxing! What a beautiful shower!
We had our 3rd shower this weekend. My husband and I own a gym and have only been open for a year and a half. Two of our members threw this shower for us and it was so sweet. overhwelmed with all of the love for our sweet baby which is also known as the gym baby now haha. Here's a pic of all the ladies who showed up.
I'm so excited. My shower is this weekend. Can't wait to see what my Sister in law has put together!
Mine is this weekend too and I can't wait! I feel like I have waited forever for this weekend. I didn't want to have one at first, but now I am glad we are.

I think my future advice to FTMs is to have your shower earlier than I did. We had ours yesterday at 35 weeks and I was so swollen and exhausted halfway through. Either way, it was a beautiful day and baby was spoiled rotten! Now I just have to start washing and organizing it all!

Our shower/sprinkle was yesterday. It was pretty low key, a BabyQ theme, and more like a family/friends BBQ. We had a blast and stayed at my sister in law's house till after 10 last night! Here are a few highlights of the decorations and desserts. We got so many clothes, that this kid shouldn't need anything for a very long time! I even had a few friends who weren't able to make it, drop off gifts today! We are so blessed to have such wonderful friends and family!
As a FTM i refused to have a baby shower because my mom's side of the family are the most immature people in the world and i wanted to avoid drama with all of them, being a FTM is one of the greatest feelings ever and decided that my mom should just save the money she was going to pay for the baby shower to just putting it aside instead, plus i hate being the center of attention and having to talk to everyone at the baby shower would have been exhausting as well. So, i saved my energy for when i have her lol
Thank you ☺️ @emmeline714 it is from a company called piper and scoot

My sisters and mother threw my shower this weekend also - and I definitely echo @midwestbaby 's sentiments that I would recommend sooner than 35 weeks! My feet were so swollen I didn't even fit into the shoes I specifically bought for the shower
But other than that it was fabulous. It's so amazing to know how loved this baby is already, and how much support we have from family & friends.
We're doing a vintage airplane nursery, and the shower matched that!
We did not have a shower this pregnancy, this is our 4th child and expecting a baby girl. Our other daughter is 1 1/2 and we still have pretty much everything from when she was born. My sister and mother did take me out for a girls lunch out to celebrate my daughter's upcoming arrival. My sister made some cute things (bambi quilt, bibs, burp cloths etc).
I was surprised yesterday with a baby shower. Thought I was going to lunch with one of my best gal pals and some of my gal pals from bunco surprised me
Our baby shower was this past weekend :-) My mom and sister hosted a sprinkle at my mom's house with a small group of my favorite ladies. The colors where inspired by Kate Spade, so lots of pinks and greens, the ladies were all encouraged to wear something pink in honor of our baby girl. She got so many clothes! This little one is going to have a rockin' wardrobe! Here's a pic of my mom and I, and my sister and I going through the presents (I love my sister's face):
