Went to work today (scheduled for 36 hours this weekend) to have a gush of fluid shortly after I arrived. This kiddo has other plans than being at work and waiting to be term! I worked half the day and they sent the OB nurse practitioner over to check me and it was indeed amniotic fluid (we don't have L and D at the hospital where I work.) I had to wait for backup to arrive from an hour away before I could leave. Then I went home and packed a bag and HD drove me to the hospital with a NICU 1 hour away. My OB is on call, I am admitted and on pitocin to induce contractions, as my water definitely broke. They gave steroids and penicillin because my GBS swab was not done yet due to only being 35 weeks and 5 days. The baby will be here by tomorrow at the latest!!! Eekkkkk! Closing out my amazon registry now... :-)

Good luck @Nikkoli98 ! I can't believe we're already having all these babies! It's so exciting! Wishing good health to everyone having their little ones a bit early. Can't wait for this board to be full of baby faces.
Baby Boy A was born at 7:18 this am. We still don't have a name. Weight 5#s even, currently in the NICU for low blood sugar, on a glucose drip but otherwise great. On antibiotics for premature age and length of ruptured membranes. (The antibiotics I was hoping to avoid, but oh well!) Trying very hard to get my supply to come in. Photos to follow and I'll post that to the birth announcement thread.
Congrats mama @Nikkoli98 !! I'm sure you heard this already but don't be so hard on yourself about supply. I was so frustrated the first several days but eventually supply increased looking back at the last 9 days.

Thanks @AliKay20, I'm trying to avoid supplementing at this point, but I might be fighting the inevitable. Time will tell!
You'll just have colostrum at this point and the baby's stomach is super duper small. Unless they tell you the baby isn't getting enough then I wouldn't worry yet.
Ftr DS's blood sugar was low his second day of life so we had to supplement at first but he also had a really bad latch for the first 6 weeks.
