Ahh @RedMar she didn't change that picture - the bump automatically puts that in place when they've banned someone...it's their 'big red flag' announcing the ban.
@MrsVoorhees This is definitely possible. I've seen/heard of users returning under other names after banning. As long as their IP address wasn't banned I believe they can return under another username and after the 3-day probationary period.
We should be allowed to be open with one another and tell dumb jokes without worrying about being banned! Jeez! Especially when we don't even know what either girls did wrong!
I agree! Either way, we really have such a tame board (especially compared to others) that I don't see how anything would get banned.

Also, today's random: Apparently they have raised the prices of stamps from the US to Canada since I last sent a card. I had $0.80 and $0.05 stamps, but now it's $1.15 per card! They apparently don't sell anything in a reasonable denomination between $0.80 and $1.15, so I got to pull a Mrs. Weasley and decorate the front of the envelopes.
@Jabreen - that reminds me. My friend once had a bunch of "expired" stamps after they upped the standard letter price and put like 10 stamps on a regular envelope and sent it to me. She was like "well these 48 cent stamps are useless now, so I thought I'd just pull a Mrs. Weasly and decorate your envelope..." i didn't have the heart to tell her that 1 cent stamps are a thing....
@AlwaysAuntNeverMom Yep! She didn't understand how to use the regular postal service so the coated the envelope in stamps to make sure there would be enough.
Guys, DD just said "please" all on her own. I haven't been very persistent in encouraging her to say please or thank you or even sorry. But we've been working on it and she wanted another meatball, pointed and said, "pwee?" I melt.
I can't believe we've had two people banned now. And two people I'd never have expected at that.
I'm afraid this is going to turn into the sort of situation on some of the other BMB's where everyone's walking on eggshells and waiting for the ban hammer to strike.

Is the report button easy to press? Like on mobile? Will it come up with something like, "are you sure you want to repor?" Or is it like a love it where you click it and don't know if it worked? I'm worried I've been hitting it instead of love it or something! Or hitting it while scrolling. But surely if it was random posts, they wouldn't get banned unless there was something in them that was against the TOU, right?
I do know that people from other months have reported if they see something that they don't like. I don't know that that's the issue here at all. But part of of the problem with the TOU is the fact that they are so broad that you can be reported for anything and then made to feel that you dont have a leg to stand on, simply for stating an opinion. I just can't believe that those two would be banned for anything....
@MrsVoorhees I pressed it by accident a couple of times when I was new and it came up with an option of why to report: abuse or spam. I actually went through with one because I was dropping my phone and clumsy me pressed it (it was a while ago in another board and I didn't even know what post it was) and I thought, maybe it didn't go through. But I got a message some time later from an admin explaining they didn't find anything wrong with a post I had reported. All I thought was 'ooooops!'.
Just trying to catch up after my morning from hell. No seriously, I'm pretty sure I woke up, boarded my plane to Philly and they took me straight to hell.
Cameron screamed, not cried, literally screamed the whole 3 hour flight. Why you ask? Beats me. I would say it was her ears but I couldn't tell because anything I did wasn't soothing her. I even had some of the nastiest looks I have ever gotten. Listen people, I'm sorry it's ruining your morning flight but does it look like I'm not trying to calm her down. Does it look like I'm having a fantastic morning?!
And the icing on the cake was when we got off the plane and I was in the hallway putting cam back in her stroller, the women sitting about 3 rows behind me walked by me and said "you made that the worst plane ride ever" and peaced out. If I didn't have my diaper bag in one hand and a baby in the other I literally would have punched her.
And I hope we find an answer as to why our members are getting banned for no legitimate reason!

@seitzy3 I really wish you would've punched her. Do people honestly think that parents are encouraging their kids to be awful on planes? Don't they know it's a traveling parents worst nightmare? Sorry it sucked, hopefully the way back will be better! Now enjoy the beach!
@seitzy3 - What a witch!! IMO, that's someone who should probably stay at home and hibernate for the rest of her life due to being a miserable human being. Ugh. Tomorrow is a new day and will be spent at the beach so yay for that!!

This. I know I let my dirty mouth come out sometimes (never in a mean way) and my sarcasm that could easily be taken as true. Hopefully I don't offend anyone and get banned. I like it here. I'm hoping for a repeat of my awesome A13 group.

If we keep having regulars banned I've seen other BMBs create private groups where they aren't moderated. I imagine it would be exactly the same environment as here since we have an established culture but we wouldn't have to worry about our regulars getting unfairly punished by the report button.
