I am so sorry you are still there @sjo_thetwins. You are so strong and your little ladies will thank you! Keep your head up! Maybe have someone bring you some magazines, puzzles like sudoku, or real broth lol from panera..
I'm so glad they let you eat/drink. I feel like I could handle just about anything as long as food wasn't withheld from me. I still hope you get to go home to your own bed soon.
Just wanted to tell you I'm still thinking about you and your girls! Thanks for updating us even though I'm sure you're miserable--hoping you get to go home soon!
I am off the mag! The catheter is out! My IV is out! And I can eat normal shitty hospital food! We had no contractions since midnight last night, so about 8.5 hours with nothing. I still have to stay on the monitors and be here for another night, but all things considered, life just got a lot easier!! I can't say thank you enough to all of you for your constant check ins and prayers/good thoughts. This community rocks my socks and I will forever be appreciative.
If any contractions come back, they send me home with procardia - a pill to kind of keep them at bay. This was mainly to pump up their lungs and brains (the mag does that too) in case I were to deliver early. I have to stay off my feet when I get home other than normal stuff like showers, going to the bathroom, getting stuff from the kitchen, etc. but the girls look good and I think we will be fine. 25 weeks today! ❤️
Awesome news! Glad you get to go home and the girls are staying put! So are they thinking you'll be on bedrest until the end or is that just for now as a precaution?
@sidecarsareforbishes my MFM, the one who sent me to L&D, was out of town when the ultrasound was done to find this, and had to be called; he is still out of town due to family emergency. So, I'm thinking, bed rest with the exception of showers/pottying/kitchen trips and I'll see him next week at our appointment to get the run down of how the rest of this pregnancy is going to. Being dilated 2cm scares me, so I would think bedrest for the rest of the pregnancy?

Yes, I would think so. I'm not dilated at all, but I'm still on strict bedrest due to short cervix and a little funneling. It's boring, but survivable. Hang in there!
Yes! Girl, I'm so happy you're off all that shit (though it helped you lol) and are feeling better. I felt such relief for you when you said you got a coke! Here's to a very boring pregnancy from here on out! Love to those little girls who are sticking with you!
I was super happy reading your update!! I'm so glad everything is looking good, and you can now eat food and are close to going home!! Hopefully your SO can bring you some delicious non-hospital food!!
Yay for all three of you (and your wife, and family etc)....so glad you're doing better and things are stable. Hope you rest lots and for a good update at your appt!
Hooray for being off mag and being able to be a little more free! Hopefully bed rest takes care of everything and you stay pregnant for weeks and weeks to come!
We are home! Bed rest and doctors appointment on Thursday for another ultrasound/check in. No more contractions as of yet, so here's to hoping 2cm is as far as we go!
Re: L&D
I'd be crafting or my brain would go bonkers

Its amazing how good even crappy hospital food can taste when you haven't had anything for so long!
