My silly self just now saw this, all of the positive vibes! How are things going now?
Still on magnesium - and penicillin since my group B strep won't come back for 2 days - and IV fluids - and haven't eaten in 24 hours - and have a catheter shoved in a hole tinier than should allow. Other than that, I'm okay!
Still contracting about every 15 minutes but the girls sound good. They say my uterus is irritated. All of me is irritated at this point.
You all are so sweet and it feels so awesome to have somewhere to update that knows what I'm talking about when I do update! Thanks for the kind words. The contractions are much less strong than they were, so there's that. And I will be here at least through tomorrow for my second steroid shot and the mag runs until then as well.
I hope everything is going well, and I hope they let you at least have some Popsicles, it must suck going through that, and on an empty stomach to boot =/
Im glad things are looking a little better (with the contractions not being so strong) and I hope those little girls stay put for a while longer. Lots of thoughts and prayers for your family.
Good luck and keep us updated! You've been there for me through all of my ups and downs on the moms of multiples board, and I'd love to do the same for you. Good vibes all over the place!
glad to see that it seems to be improving. I hope you get to eat something soon and go home. Thinking of you and praying that you and your babies stay healthy.

I'm not sure what happened to my post from a couple hours ago. Glad to hear the contractions are slowing, I hope they continue to do so! Sending good vibes to you and the girls!
Man, I'm just seeing this now and you've left me speechless with your strength and chill nature! Positive thoughts and love to you, mama! All the great vibes to you!
Good (morning?) y'all! We are still here, I have probably only slept a whopping total of 2 hours since we have been here because sleeping on your back, on this awful bed, with a catheter that is sensitive to movement, just doesn't bappen. I got a pillow for my lower back and that really doesn't help. These girls and I canNOT stay another night, I won't have it. Good news? Contractions are not as strong and have slowed to a minor crawl since I get about an hour sleep straight. Bad news? I am still having them. The meds I have taken so far: Magnesium (still) Penicillin (every 4 hours for Group B Strep since cultures haven't come back) Zofran for the nausea the mag finally wiped me out with Tylenol for a mag headache
yall, I can't even drink water. Just. Ice. My mouth feels like the Sahara desert and tastes all gross. And the MOMENT I can pee again on my own - on a toilet - will be a day for rejoicing. It's so nice to be able to read everyone's kind words. I'm about 6.5ish hours out from the last steroid shot for the babies lungs (which - um, OW!) and then what I HOPE is the last of the mag. I just want to eat, and go home. I swear I won't do any responsibilities for 12 more weeks if I can just go home. I swear I don't have contractions with my snoogle like I have had here. Bleh.
@sjo_thetwins omg what an exhausting, uncomfortable time for you. I really hope things wrap up with the meds quick and they can safely send you home to pee and snoogle (yes, it's a verb). Fx!
What a tough night! Glad to hear you're making progress with the slowing of the contractions and keeping my FX for them to stop all together today! Still sending all the good vibes your way and thinking about you today!!! ::hugs::
This long with no water??? I'm very impressed with how you're taking this all in stride. Well done, Mama. But, here's hoping you can break free soon and eat and drink all the things!
Hang in there @sjo_thetwins! I'm sure you'll make your escape soon! Sounds like you're doing a great job, even though the situation is less than ideal. Thinking of y'all!

What a nightmare! I'm so glad to see that the contractions have slowed down in your last update. I hope the rest of your night was better and you all get to go home soon. Hang in there!
I hope you're asleep right now, that's the best way to kill time. It sounds pretty promising that you may be out of there before too long since contractions are slowing down how are you measuring now?
Hang in there! You're almost free! I'm glad to hear the contractions have slowed, I'm keeping my FX those little ladies stay put and cook for a while. I hope you get some sleep and some food, you are a rockstar and those little girls are so lucky!

They won't check my cervix again (or haven't yet) because it could "stir up problems" by messing with it. 2 hours til my last shot and what we hope is the turn off of the mag. Someone is in here checking me every hour so I don't sleep and when I do finally, it's for 15 min. I'm so out of it, so hungry, I absolutely cannot handle another round of mag - it makes you feel like you have the flu. I had my mental breakdown!
Fingers crossed everything works out in the next two hours then, May you soon be able to fill your belly with food, and may your urethra be free of foreign assistance!
Oh, girl, that is so rough! I can't believe they haven't let you eat or drink for so long! That just does NOT seem okay for a pregnant lady. I hope you get discharged after this last steroid shot. Hang in there!
