Sciatic pain and heartburn are really the only bothersome symptoms I have. TMI symptom is that I woke up this morning with a giant wet spot over one boob. I guess that's just a reminder that it's almost September
@Thscary I had a leaky boob the other day too. I've had lots of dried colostrum since week 16ish but this is the first time I actually noticed a wet spot
Back and hip pain for me. It starts about 20 minutes into my dog walk. I'm starting to think my hour long walks are a thing of my past. Tonight I complained when I got home and said "ughhhh why am I in so much pain" and DH is like "are you kidding? You're pregnant!" I was like "ya but I didn't think it would be this bad! I thought pregnant people just complained about it for fun" haha
Last night was a rough one. I had horrible acid reflux all night. It kept me up but luckily my husband could sleep. I tried propped up and eventually using 3 pillows and my Snoogle sitting up allowed me to sleep. Yikes! That doesn't happen too often (hope I didn't jinx myself) so I hope that won't happen again soon. Ugh. That aside, I've had sore hips and sciatic pain for weeks now. I am going to try a prenatal massage I think. I could see a chiropractor but the idea of that kinda freaks me out. Not sure why.
The back pain is so unreal today. It hurt even before getting out of bed and I just know it's gunna be a bad day. It only feels ok if I sit down but once I stand, the pressure on my hips/lower back/glutes is ridiculous. Plus, unrelated to pregnancy, but my incision I was having issues with last weekend is hurting again. They prescribed me morphine for the pain of that and I haven't had any since Tuesday. But I might have to today
My worst thing is my SI joint (left lower back/hip) is killing me. Same exact thing as last pregnancy, and it didn't go away until baby came out. I'm seeing a chiropractor weekly, which is helping, and I'm getting massages here and there. On the advice of the chiro, I'm also icing and doing a thing where I lay down with a towel under one hip and another towel under the opposite butt cheek. It seems to help.
My other major annoying symptom is reflux. I'm almost to the point of just taking zantac every day for prevention. I'm still holding out for now - just taking as needed, but it's pretty consistent. Boo.
@RG1 I don't know how you can do one hour walks anyway. Ten minutes in, I already have to pee. I'd never make it an hour!
@rock1cherry I had bad sciatica with my first, and massage helped a lot. A good chiropractor would probably help too.
It's finally started to get uncomfortable to bend over. I'm having to do the "Pregnant Lady Plie" to pick things up now.
Totally this. I came up with a handy technique of picking something up with my toes and kicking my leg back to fling the object in the air. Primate skills
Count me in for the back pain! Add to that pain in my upper right abdomen too. I am a teensy bit concerned since I found it painful to lay on my right side last night while sleeping and I just feel the need to rub/massage the area all day. Except it feels internal so rubbing isn't really doing anything for it. My skin also feels a lil sore again which was an indicator last time it happened that the baby/bump was growing. So maybe I am about to pop out further again from a growth spurt and the abdomen pain is just organs moving around?
Also feeling more irritable too. I planned this really fun night out with friends last night but had the worst back pain, couldn't eat after like 2 bites, and felt jealous of everyone else drinking and seeming so relaxed and having fun. I tried to make the best of it but def was let down by my mood. I hope to get more sleep too with being off work tomorrow!

Acid reflux is at an all time high, especially at night. It's so annoying and disgusting l. Now that I have hit the 7 month mark K am officially over this pregnancy thing. Backache for the first time today, energy is on the decline and Braxton Hicks! Upside: feeling baby move all the time
@KimmySchmidt I think I need to complain more too! Although I have had a relatively easy pregnancy so far (**knocks on wood**) it is definitely not without symptoms!! When I need his help with things he kind of laughs and I feel like I have to remind him I AM GROWING A HUMAN!

Just woke up, writhing in bed, due to a tightened left calf leg muscle. I felt it coming on when I rolled over to my right side, said "help", and DH immediately woke up and handed me a water bottle. All this probably because I woke up twice earlier in the night to pee. Also wth, it's 6:30am. And I stayed up until 1:00am (hello insomnia) and finished watching A Clockwork Orange which was showing on TCM.
@Bibliobebe@camichael84@RedMar LOL! The inability to bend over has become real. The other morning, it took me over five minutes to switch from slip ons to a cute pair of ankle strap sandals. I kept bending over to each side trying to reach my ankles but couldn't get around the bump. I think I'll have to kick ankle strap sandals to the side for the rest of the pregnancy. Also, when I drop stuff at my desk, I make a huge groan to pick the item(s) up. I have really sweet coworkers who said they would help with the sandals and dropped items, but ehh, that's weird to shout at someone other than DH to help.
I detest going to sleep now. Not only does the restless legs and having to pee make it hard to fall asleep initially, but now I never really feel like I go into a deep sleep I always just feel half aware half asleep. I hate it and it sucks.

@kosmo86 yes! I dread going to sleep. I just know I'm gunna lay there trying to get comfortable and in 2 hours I'm gunna wake up to pee and need a snack. And repeat 2 hours later.
@kosmo86 I feel the same way! I did not want to go to bed last night since it is more of a pain to get comfortable and I knew it wouldn't be restful. I woke up to pee and also choking on acid reflux. Now I have knots all in my arms, shoulders and shoulder blades too. Bah.
Update on the abdomen pain/discomfort I was feeling this weekend: Turns out, it was baby. Lol. I started pushing more on the area vs. rubbing it and I felt a body part gently push back a little and all sorts of other weird feelings/movements. I am guessing his back or butt is pushed up against an organ or something and that is what is causing the discomfort. I feel better knowing that is the case (even though I guess I should have suspected it). The bump says he is the size of acorn squash but I feel like he is a giant in there! I feel movements from all over which makes me imagine he is really long....

I was having a horrible time sleeping and finally during my last visit I kind of desperately asked if there was ANYTHING I could safely take.
They prescribed me Diclegis, which is a combination of Doxylamine Succinate (Same active ingredient in Unisom sleep tabs) and Pyriodoxine Hydrochloride (Vitamin B6). I was concerned about safety but Diclegis falls into FDA category A for pregnancy, which is the safest (Folic Acid and Magnesium are also Category A).
It's normally prescribed for controlling nausea during pregnancy, but they often prescribe it for sleep issues as well since its main side effect is drowsiness.
I take half a dose at night and it does the trick for me. I've been sleeping better and aside from getting up to pee I don't wake up as frequently and I can easily fall back asleep.

I've been stuck a ton in the half aware sleep the last several weeks. It does suck, and I wake up feeling like I didnt sleep at all. I don't remember this happening my first pregnancy.
@AmMcc12 omg these skin tags are so gross. I can't stop thinking that this is only a preface of what my skin will be like when I go through menopause. My aunt has a ton of them all over the neck and face and I'm finding a new one each week. Last time they fell off, hopefully they'll do the same again postpartum!
@RedMar Possibly TMI but I have one right where my under where hits in my crotch and it's painful. I'm going to tell my doctor about it at my appointment on Friday. I doubt they will do anything about it though
TMI: I keep getting blood blisters in my bikini area (they look like ingrown hairs without the dark spot in the center...sort of a cystic-like raised bump). So painful.
I'm guessing it's because my underwear keeps riding up, then digging in while I'm sleeping and pinches the skin. I just had DH lance the 4th one this month. They bleed like crazy.
Been having a consistent sharp pain about an inch to the right and above my belly button for the past 2 hours. Not sure if little man is continuously shoving a foot right there or if it's something else.
@AmMcc12 Does your abdomen feel all swollen too? And does the pain ever subside or is it constant and there no matter what position you're in? When I had my appendix pain, it was a bit higher up (right under my boobs, but my boobs are high since they're A-cups ) but my whole abdomen was swollen. It felt like a mix between being super duper hungry, and a muscle cramp.
I don't feel anymore swollen than usual @RH1. It has started to come and go, but hurts if I press on it. I think it's too low for appendix (about 5 inches below boobs and actually about 1.5-2 inches to right/above belly button. If it doesn't go away I'll talk with my doctor at my appointment on Friday
@AmMcc12 Yeah that sounds right in the middle of both spots I had pain, lol. Because I had it up high and then in the usual place you'd expect appendix pain (bottom right). I currently get feet or elbows or knees jabbed right in that exact spot you're talking about. It hurts me SO much because my stitches from the incision isn't healing properly, but its an uncomfortable feeling even when he's not right under the stitches, so its possible that's all it is if your baby has some body part stuck chillin out there.
eta: it hurts most and is like a dull constant pain when hes moving a lot and I can see some lump moving around that exact spot. And if I push on the body part, its super tender!
Does anyone else feel like they have dry, wrinkly hands and face?! I normally use Retin-A while not pregnant due to acne and anti-wrinkle benefits are an added bonus. My forehead seems wrinkly all of the sudden! I don't use Retin-A while pregnant...Can I use it while breastfeeding? Are there moisturizers that are safe and actually work for now tho?!
Update on my pain: I called the nurse and they are saying it might be my gallbladder. So I am on a low fat diet now and am supposed to call tomorrow if it doesn't get better.
@AmMcc12 It sounds like the pain I was talking about having over the weekend. Only I know it wasn't my gallbladder since I had mine out a few years ago. I pushed it around (kinda hard) after a few days of feeling the pain and felt movement! That's when I learned it was the baby pushing against something. I hope that is all it is for you too! But initially I feared there was something wrong internally as well. I am fine now. Baby is in the same spot but no longer pushing against whatever he was before.

Food aversions galore. Simply not hungry!
Headaches mostly in the mornings. And plain ol' fatigue in the evening.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised that he still leaves his socks on the floor for me to bend over and pick up. Maybe I should be complaining more.
