Acid reflux, feel like I've been riding a bike for a week (or like someone hit me with a sledge hammer in the rear), and my boobs are leaking enough to have to start wearing some kind pad.... do they make "light days" "pantyliners" for your bra instead of full on breastpads?
It's getting really uncomfortable when he moves around so much. Sometimes the kicks really hurt but when he is like flipping around I really don't like it
Yeah I am getting a few cervix punches tonight. Luckily I was watching Jim Gaffigan and laughing so the punches just made me laugh harder despite feeling super uncomfortable. I have decided I need to try and just laugh my way through the next 10 weeks or so....

@blondie080300 he currently is trying to stick his butt out of my left side. I'm laying on the right side so he is working against gravity and everything.
I feel so whiny so I apologize but I feel like you girls are the only ones who understand. I woke up SO TIRED today despite getting about 7 hours of sleep. Of course it was interrupted sleep from waking up to pee, waking up drenched in sweat, feeling the baby move, neck pain from trying to sleep on my side, etc. Now at work my bump feels extra big (causing the skin to feel sore) and I am also struggling to take in enough breath. The back pain is sooo uncomfortable and I actually feel nauseous today too. What the heck? I have 10 weeks or so left (hopefully ) and I have to figure out a way to manage through this with a positive attitude. Bahhh.....but for right now, I just want to be allowed to be crabby lol. I wish I was allowed to work from home more than 10 times in a year. I am down to 4 days that I am treasuring for the last week or so of pregnancy when I REALLY can't make myself go into the office.
*Sorry for the rant but thanks for reading if you made it through it *

This has been the worst pregnancy as far as symptoms go.
The insomnia is crazy and add the restless leg onto that and I'm screwed. It's been between 2-3 am before I fall asleep and then I'm up every hour to pee.
Oh and the acid reflux can suck it! I take at least two zantac a day and who knows how many tums. It doesn't matter what I eat I'm dying a few hours later.
And does anyone else vagina feel like to going to fall apart when you move?
I'm sure DH is so over me complaining. lol
ETA: oh and baby girls head is in my ribs. Fun times over here.
I'm with @PSUBecky23. I can not breath. Well obviously I can, but I get winded so easy these days Restless legs all night, every night. I've been super emotional, not angry emotional but more on the sappy side.
Is anyone else fighting extreme exhaustion? I don't know what the deal is! I'm going to bed at the same time and my activity level hasn't chenged but I am just seriously extremely exhausted. I barely make it to lunchtime and then I take a 2 hr nap with my son and then when Dh gets home I take another hour nap.
I just feel like jello and can't keep my eyes open!
@reesaXden Yes! I was just telling my husband, I'm not sure how I worked full time with my first and 3 days a week with my second. It takes so much out of me to do anything. We had a busy weekend at the lake this weekend. Yesterday, I put a movie on for my girls and fell asleep during it. During nap time, I took a 2 hr nap and was still able to be in bed by 10. I had trouble getting up this morning (although I was up with thunderstorms last night). I ran some errands this morning, but now I'm back on the couch even though I should be doing laundry. I feel exhausted all the time and in the second tri when everyone was getting their energy, I just felt less tired. It's rough!
I've never had heartburn in my life so I don't know if this is what I'm experiencing, but the pain has been brutal today. I never burp (I dunno why, my body just doesn't do it) so this feels like I have a ton of gas built up in my esophagus waiting to be burped up but nothing is happening. And I feel super hungry but not able to really eat cause I feel stuffed up to my throat. Is this heartburn?!?
@MojieJo Okay I'll give tums a try. I also bent over the counter all funny and ended up passing gas which made me feel way better lol. I'm so sexy these days
I'm also more tired lately. I feel like a lot of it has to do with the lack of quality sleep I get at night. Between the pain in my hips, getting up to pee, and DD teething, I'm not sleeping well.
I have to say, I felt so much better today! I am starting to notice a trend that I get a much better night's sleep when I take Benedryl before bed. I hate using it for sleep but I need rest to get through the work day. I still wake up to pee once or twice but I fall right back to sleep and have more energy the next day.
I also wore maternity shape wear to work under my dress for the first time today and I didn't notice any back pain! I was hot as hell so that was uncomfortable but if it had anything to do with my back feeling better, it was worth it.
I just thought I'd share a positive update since I was so miserable yesterday. I hope ya'll are feeling some relief at times too!

I learned today why I have been having so much back pain. Apparently my little guy flipped and his back is now rubbing against my back. Ouch! He is still head down which is good but we want him to flip before he decides to make his grand appearance. I was assured there is plenty of time for him to do this on his own but was told I may need to do exercises from 'spinning babies' if he doesn't flip as it gets closer to my due date.
But, I would really like him to flip now!

One of my boys has had his legs and part of his butt up inside my ribcage for weeks now and it's starting to feel like someone's pushing my ribs apart (front to back) from the inside...which I guess is actually what's happening.
It hurts. A lot. I'm terrified my rib cage is going to be permanently bigger than before once they're born and I'll never be able to wear my old bras with the tiny bands ever again (they're really nice, expensive bras ).
@blondie080300 if it makes you feel any better, my daughter was born face up and everything was fine! She did have to be vacuumed out and I had a second degree tear, but none of it was a big issue!
@MojieJo - My little man has his feet all up in my ribs, I can't imagine the pain of having more of the baby up in there. It's not bad when standing, but when I sit on the couch at night I keep pushing down trying to keep him out of there because it feels like my ribs are being spread apart.. but pushing down makes him more active (stubborn little baby!) and the kicks are more painful. Youch.. that plus restless legs in the evening make watching TV significantly less enjoyable.
Also, my right knee is screaming in pain. If I keep it bent or straight for a long time, the change in position hurts like hell for a good 20-30 seconds. I remember this happening for a period in college and eventually went away, so maybe not pregnancy-related but what a time for it to happen again! UGH! Changing position overnight results in tears as I wait for the burning in my knee to let up, and once resulted in a charlie horse that left my calf sore for 3 days. Ugh.
@blondie080300 We had an ultrasound on Wednesday and our little guy is head down but face up. She said they typically like them to be the other way when delivering. My friend delivered her baby on Wednesday and her baby was face up....she said with the epidural it still hurt her a ton, which made me SO SCARED. But @MrsVoorhees I'm glad you had an alright experience with this because I've been nervous now since my friend told me that
@RG1 my epidural wore about halfway off while pushing and it wasn't bad at all. Everyone has a different pelvis and baby head and pain tolerance though so who knows. But my experience was good! We didn't know she was face up for a long time, she got stuck and my dr thought maybe my pelvis was too small, and then she realized she was face up so she put the vacuum on and bam! Baby girl was here. Lol
@MrsVoorhees Okay good story!! I was not scared at all of birth before realizing my friend literally pushed a human out and now I'm all paranoid. I just gotta tell myself she survived and I will too and it might suck at the time but it's not forever. Luckily I have 9ish weeks to calm back down again
@annas930 Yes! Sitting up is the worst for me, especially in a hard or straight-backed chair. Ugh.
My knees are in horrific shape. I can't kneel or squat and even sitting down on the toilet is hard. Once I get to a certain angle, my knees just give out and down I go onto my butt (also uncomfortable because my bump gets squashed by my knees) with a lovely double snap sound.
I've had bad knees forever, but not this bad. I tried putting on my (very nice, supportive) hinged knee brace several weeks ago, thinking that at least the worse one of my knees could have some relief, and couldn't get it on. My knees are too swollen and puffy to fit.
@rg1 Yesterday I decided to watch a birthing video or two just to see what it is like as I am quite concerned with giving birth. That exercise ended up with me in tears and my fiancé chastising me for scaring myself.
I am sure it's different when you are in the moment and as he reminded me, people do this all the time, multiple times and that he believes I'll do awesome. Rationally I get it but I'm still scared. I am glad that he has so much confidence in me because I am lacking it as I see my ticker count down.
@geminigirl16 Have you taken any birthing classes yet? I went in super anxious about the whole process but learned so much in my hypnobirthing classes that took a lot of the anxiety and fear away. It's not all gone and sometimes it creeps back in but then I remember I am letting my imagination run away and I need to focus and get prepared (ie. start doing my relaxation techniques). But I learned so much about labor and delivery and all of the options that we have from hypnobirthing so it was way more than just learning self-hypnosis. I highly recommend you take some sort of child preparation/birthing classes if you haven't already.
Married: 3/21/15 First time mom to a human but have been a puppy mamma for over 12 years
@geminigirl16 If it makes you feel any better, I really enjoyed labor. It was exciting, it never hurt that bad, and it was a new experience that I had imagined all of my life and it was happening! I'm really excited about it this time! Sure, I'm nervous about complications, but for the most part, I'm really pumped about it!

I accidentally watched some videos on YouTube too, with the volume turned down, through my fingers like a horror film. Then I go a book that had pictures, and I saw a picture of a head coming out and forced myself to stare at it to desensitize myself. This didn't work. Im trying to figure out WHAT I'm scared of. I know I can do it. I know I'm not going to die. I know baby will be ok. And i know it will (hopefully) be over in 24 hours max. I guess it's just the unknown. My dad said "it's like going to the dentist and not knowing whether you'll need a 5 minute cleaning or all your teeth pulled" and he's totally right! There's just so much you can't predict but it helps to know options. I don't want to do classes because I think that would make me more anxious, but I have listened to tons of podcasts and I know many of the things that can happen in labour and the solutions for them. Having this knowledge seems to help a bit! But I will definitely be staying away from YouTube....
TMI post ahead, but I want your thoughts on this. I've read that your breasts change a lot during pregnancy. Mine have gotten significantly larger. (C cup to an E cup in some brands!) well, I've noticed that around the outside of my nipples there is darkening. I know that can happen, but it appears more like bruising that anything. More worrying, there appears to be bruises below the nipple as well that goes down an inch or two. It's on both breasts so I am wondering if I need even bigger bras or if it could be something else. They aren't sore or tender either - not what you'd expect from bruises. Dr Google is not helping as the symptoms and looks of it match those of inflammatory breast cancer. Yikes! While I'm obviously going to have this looked at by a medical professional, I just wanted to know if anyone else has experienced this? If you think it's bra related or if this is normal. Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks in advance
@RG1 I totally get that. I'm terrified of a C section. Really freaks me out. And a 3rd or 4th degree tear. Also freaked out about that. But chances are, it won't happen. It's still scary not knowing!
@rock1cherry are the marks below definitely bruises, or could they possibly be stretch marks from the growing?
is there anyone else who is having somewhat frequent diarrhea? By somewhat frequent I mean 1-2x/week. I never had this problem before, and I can't pinpoint any foods that may be triggering it. What's worse is it always seems to hit in the middle of the night
@rock1cherry I second what @Thscary said, are the bruises lines? Or more like a wide bruise? I had 3 stretch marks on my belly last pregnancy and since they are purple when they first start, I thought they were veins. I was so sad when i realized after that they were stretch marks. Then, later, I totally didn't care anymore and they don't bother me. Anyhoo, back to the point, 1. They could be stretch marks and 2. My nipples have a weird, blurred edge on them that is a little lighter than the dark brown that they are now, making them effing gigantic and embarrassing. It went away last time, maybe this is what you have? It's a little terrifying thinking of what you might find, but if you're not afraid, you might Google, "pregnancy nipple changes" and check out the images. Hopefully you'll still be the same person after that search...
Holy headache from hell! I started out super tired yesterday and slowly got nauseous throughout the day with an accompanying headache. So I left work early and, by the time I laid down at home, the acid reflux had kicked in hardcore. The headache is one of those where sitting up from lying down is excruciating. Tylenol isn't helping in the slightest. I decided to miss the kids' baseball & basketball games this morning and feel horrible about it (even though they and DH have been so understanding!). I'm going to give it the day and then call the doctor if need be. Really hoping it doesn't come to that though!
