@tmk0325 Yea I know what you mean! They're at good weights! My date is set for 7/29 at which point I'll be 38w4d (insert screaming emoji here). Don't even want to think about how uncomfortable that would be.
@tmk0325 and @rikopy... my best friend has almost 6 year old twins, she went until a couple days before her due date! I can't imagine, and I've only had singletons!
I'm going to be a total AW and brag about my productivity the last couple of days. I have most of the kitchen and basement/attic packed, picked a moving company, bought things for the boys new bedroom and finished painting/staining 2 dressers. I feel like the nesting bug finally kicked in, which was much needed since we're moving in less than a month, and have a week long vacation in the middle of that time!
@Bookhousegirl Way to go! I can't imagine packing up and moving right before baby arrives but I know it happens a lot.
I went from hardcore nesting to pure exhaustion and now back to hardcore nesting. I decided it's a "must" that I completely redo our guest bath before new baby arrives so there is a ton of painting, staining and building in my future! Bring it on next (less than) 10 weeks!
@justaudrey thanks! Moving this close to baby is not something I would recommend, but it does make me feel like I'll be super organized when he gets here. We've moved a lot over the last few years, so we've gotten pretty good at it, and we get rid of a ton of junk each time!
I thought I handled Tdap shot like a pro. It didn't even hurt at the time I got it. Fast forward 5 hrs later, my arm is so sore that I'm in the worst mood ever. Ugh
Me and my husband got our dtaps when I was 28 weeks. Even my husband complained a little about how sore it was. It's definitely one of the more painful shots... but hey, we're good for 7 to 10 more years!
Anyone else binging on Orange is the New Black? I'm already on episode 4!! My mother in law comes tomorrow and I should be cleaning, but I won't have much time to watch while she's here so I'm enjoying it now.
Also, DH somehow ended up having to work till almost 11 tonight... we had agreed we needed to clean the house for his mom's visit and he didn't even have the courtesy to text. So I am NOT doing all that cleaning on my own with him gone.
@Snaps816 I wouldn't do all the cleaning without him either! I keep the house straight but when it comes to the deep cleaning DH is almost always going to help me with it.
I live in NC and in Charlotte there is a couple having quints, 5 babies, and one of the local news stations threw them a baby shower. They got all the big stuff they should need, including 5 momaroos. I couldn't even imagine having 5 babies at once, I'm stressing enough over having a new born and an almost 2 year old.
@AliKay20 I got my Tdap on Wednesday and today is the first day my arm isn't sore. I thought the Tdap was painless going in, but I got my Rhogam shot at the same time in my thigh and that one hurt like a b!tch going in! At least Rhogam wasn't sore afterward.
So I finally got around to completing my registry. I went with Amazon for convenience. I think the only draw back is crazy fluctuations in prices. I put a crib sheet on there that I want, it was $17 or $18 when I selected it. I happen to notice it is now listed as $64!! Other sites have it for the original price, but I don't want people looking at it thinking I'm delusional for listing a single crib sheet that is $64!! Did anybody else have this issue??
@Bookhousegirl , it was! I feel like I'm a slave to my phone sometimes. After I got home, I waited a few hours before picking it up. I didnt miss it a bit.
Apparently someone on our street has the same baby monitor as us because DD and I laid down in my bed for a nap and I start hearing voices coming over the baby monitor. We are the only ones home so I went in her room and she had unplugged her base. I plugged it back up and changed the channel so hopefully it won't happen again. Now I'm wondering if they've ever heard us over our monitor before.
34 weeks pregnant with a TON of stuff left to get done sounds like a perfect time for my back spasms to start up again. Sitting, laying, standing, walking, really doing anything hurts. Of course doctors offices are closed and I don't know if they would really even do anything for me. I want to curl up in a ball and just cry.
@Nikkoli98 I had that problem with my amazon registry too. Not such huge fluctuations, but some things changed by $20 or so. A lot of it also became unavailable.
I think baby dropped in the last few days. Yesterday I got my first sharp crotch pain, and today has been lots of pain and pressure. It's also more uncomfortable to sit straight now. I'm glad baby is getting positioned to come out, but we're not that close yet! This is the most uncomfortable I've been thus far during this pregnancy, and surprisingly it has nothing to do with the heat. Laziness is now getting the best of me
