Watching I Am Jazz tonight and I'm IN TEARS watching/listening to all the hate. People can be so ignorant. I may not be able to watch this season until after I'm done with all these pregnancy hormones.
@bnsmith85@uponastar16@copperboom86 can I just say that reading about your own near meltdowns makes me feel a million percent better about my own near meltdown? DH has struggled with anxiety/panic attacks his whole life. They're for the most part well controlled and he's made great progress in the past few years, but lately with job stress, starting grad school, and baby coming -- it's been bad. Normally I can be super supportive and help him through it, and I feel TERRIBLE that he's so stressed right now. But I just don't feel like I have the emotional capacity to deal with the anxiety right now, and I find myself getting upset that I have to be the one to give emotional support instead of receiving it when I'm pregnant, which makes me feel guilty and like a horrible wife.
It's been a rough few weeks, but it makes me feel better to know that I'm not the only one feeling emotionally fragile right now.
DH and I: Early/mid 30s Married 7/15
TTC #1 as of 8/15
BFP 11/21/15 -- MC confirmed 12/1/15 BFP #2 2/18/16
My husband is really sick right now. Barfing and diarrhea. At the same time. I just brought him towels, but there's no way I can help him clean up. And, I feel really bad about that.

But...I will obviously barf.
Nope nope all the nope. You are a much better wife than I am. Pregnant or not, I would not be able to help clean that up.
thought now that I just said that... Let's hope I figure it out soon bc I'm sure my kid is going to have something like this happen
@bnsmith85 Oh, I didn't help. I laid towels in front of a closed bathroom door. I couldn't even listen to what was going on in there.
Luckily after one disgusting bout it was out of his system.
But, with your kids it's totally different. At least with mine (he's only 2). If he's sick I just go into Mom mode and HAVE to help him no matter what. This may change as he gets older and his puke gets smellier...
I'm so stinking hungry lately I literally count down the hours, even the minutes to my next meal. However, as soon as I get three or four bites in, I'm full. It's so annoying! On one hand, I guess it keeps me from overeating? But on the other hand, I'm just hungry again in like an hour. Plus, I'm always sad I can't finish my lovely, delicious food... I feel like there should be room in this growing tummy of mine, when in fact, it feels like there's less. Pregnancy is weird.

THIS. Just let me finish one complete meal while it's still hot and fresh instead of turning into 3 trips to the same plate for "leftovers" over a 4 hour time frame... I really thought I could eat you, delicious meal. I truly did.
@LMNOBaby I'm having the same issue! I fantasize all day about what I'm going to have/make for dinner and by the time it rolls around, I can eat about half before I'm full. So then it becomes: do I save & reheat dinner later, or just go for the ice cream when I get hungry again?
If you guys have the "What to Expect" app, you should totally check out their article for today called "Baby Name Trend." Here's a little snippet for you to enjoy...
@CopperBoom86 Ahahahahahahahaha omg. I'm choosing to believe whoever wrote that is an expert-level troll because that is gold right there. Top notch work.
I agree, I go from starving to full in 5 bites and I can't handle it! But if the food is especially delicious I keep eating and then I feel like I will literally explode.
I wear glasses, and have to at all times due to my extremely poor vision, so they typically only come off at bed time and shower time. Well, I was fixing my hair and had them off. My boys were playing in DS's bedroom and he called me in to talk to me. My LO was sitting on the floor staring at me and he made what I *thought* was a smile so I smiled back and started talking to him and he freaked out and started crying and crawled to his brother! DS pointed out he probably didn't recognize me without my glasses and it makes since, but totally weirded me out and made me bad for a minute. And put into perspective that my kids never see me without my glasses!
In the middle of our baby-naming struggles, DH used this website that combines names and kept giving me these type of half/half names or just some that were out there, not even slightly resembling a name. Until I shut that shit down and just chose a real name because I was sick of hearing the nonsense. I'm still not sure if he knew what he was doing to force me to decide, or really thought it would help us find a new name haha
These are awesome, but why stop there? Adding two names together? Pfft. Why not just use all of your favorite names and combine them to make the mega-name to end all mega-names?
So here's to you: Madigailharliachlophia Bananafannafofia Jones!
Okay, what I posted was stupid, but I can't stop laughing at it.
I can just imagine some poor girl with that name listening to her 7th grade math teacher on the first day of school calling roll, "Um... Mad....Madiga? Madigarlicophobia? .......um.....uh...um... Jones? Is there a Miss Jones here today?"
We've narrowed the name field to a handful of each (we're team green) and going to decide on D-Day (or should I say B-Day!) once we meet the little one... In the meantime, I'm going to start using some of those combo names as answers when people ask us if we've decided on names. "Yup, he liked Madison, I liked Abigail, so we're going to use both and call her Madigail - Madigail Emvia (Emma + Olivia)." Just have to keep a straight face....
@turtlemomma we are soul sisters. lol. that popcorn is a trigger food and no longer will exist in this house
Have you had the Popcorn in a Pickle? *drooooool*
I'm a bad influence, lol.
STUCK IN A BOX I haven't tried this brand but at our local farmers market there's a guy there who sales popcorn and he has a dill pickle flavor. I bought it on a whim and OMG i devoured the whole bag and regret not buying more.

Yesterday, I was told I must be due any day. Today, I was asked if its twins because I'm "awfully big to be due in October". Why? Why is it ok to comment on my body? I hate people.

Wtf @body comments. If two wrongs made a right I'd suggest responding with some mean comments about their bodies and EDDs. Just keep in mind the source @MRSCORKER...a guy at Home Depot is providing his assessment of your baby's size...F that, and yay for our babies growing and taking up more room!

Yes! I'm grateful he's growing so big that I look huge! I also got the "is it twins?!" Comment from an old lady yesterday. It's like people just don't think before they speak. I responded with "oh for christs sake" and walked away. Lol

Ashamed that I really like Alexaniel! But remember we've been doing this with girls' names - Suewellyn, Susannah, etc. for a long time.
Madison + Abigail = Madigail
Harper + Amelia = Harlia
Chloe + Sophia = Clophia
They're all bad, but that last one sounds like a legit STD.
