Hi, another newbie here hoping I can jump in with you guys. I will be starting IVF towards the end of June. Hoping for a July ER and August FET. We will be doing PGS due to *trigger* 3 early losses. Looking forward to cheering you all on!!
Welcome @AugustAng! So sorry for your previous losses. FX this will be a successful IVF cycle for you! You and I will be on a pretty similar schedule. I will probably be starting stims a few days after you (around 27th) but will have ER in early July, PGS testing, and then hopefully FET in August.

@cmm012 Congrats on the great PGS results! Just curious, are they going to retest the inconclusive one? I've seen examples of inconclusive results coming back as normal after a retest. Either way, great news!

@AugustAng That's so funny, Dr. Meyer is my main doctor too! But Dr. Park does the Megaset Trial, so if I'm accepted I'll be switching to him. So crazy! When we first had our IVF consult with Dr. Meyer he had given me a protocol that sounds identical to yours! But now this trial requires we do a fresh transfer.

I just thought I'd share this good laugh with you all: I was told to call my clinic today if I didn't start a cycle, so of course I called today because my cycles are like 6-12+ weeks long. My silly, silly nurse asked if I'd taken a hpt. Uh... No. Why would I do that? I don't ovulate, so there is no way I could be pregnant without them knowing it. She actually said "you'd be surprised". Well, yes, technically I would be surprised since, after over two years of trying, I've never gotten pregnant without their help, and I've only gotten two positive hpts (I don't test before betas anymore, and didn't bother to see if I could turn one after any of my betas). It was good for a laugh. Now apparently I have to take a hpt and call them back with the results so I can get a prescription for Provera. Then I can finally start doing something to get on with this last FET.

@wifeinraleigh28 My beta is 6/20. Was suppose to be 6/19 but my husband has a work function that is 3 hours away. Im planning to do a home test late in the week. I figure I should show something by then.
@wifeinraleigh28 - I really like Dr. Park. He did my HSG and then we had to consult with him on the IUI cycle that I ended up over-stimming and then cancelled. We live off of Leesville. How about you?
@KLake42 well shit. I'm sorry. I have everything crossed that this is the month - two big healthy eggs just waiting to fertilize! And either way, best of luck as you move forward.
@Happydays13 - thanks! And congrats and good luck!
@AugustAng welcome and good luck in the coming weeks!
@babylonghorn16 tick tock tick tock. FX you haven't updated because you're busy celebrating with DH!
afm - CD8/stim day 7: estrogen is just over 200, u/s showed 4 promising follies (all between 10 and 11mm) and another that may or may not catch up. I keep up stimming and add cetrotide on Sunday with my next u/s on Monday. RE says they have good success with 3+ follies so remaining hopeful.

Hey everyone. Thanks for the well wishes and support! Had to take a day off yesterday. Didn't get good news unfortunately and now AFM is tearing me apart. Worst thing is, I'm at my husband's family reunion, so I just have to suck it up. No tears though... well maybe one or two. My fantastic doctor called me herself and talked to me for 15 min abt why this didn't work and what we are going to do next. We kind of knew this was a hail Mary, but thought, why not since we had 12 embryos?! Turns out my estradiol was 4900... very high. My body is just not ready basically. So now we have 7 tested embryos to pick from for our FET in july. Taking the month of June off to be a normal human and get my body back to a good baseline. Went to a winery yesterday with my MIL which was soooo nice. First glass of wine in more than a month! Anyway, sorry for the long update, but there ya go! Sad, but hopeful for the future!!

Sending you lots of hugs today, @babylonghorn16. You are so smart to give your body some time to heal. You will be physically and mentally ready for your next cycle. But give yourself permission to be sad for now. I hope the family reunion will be a good, positive distraction. ((hugs))

Im sure this is just the progesterone but I am sooo tired. I went to bed at 8:30 last night and slept until almost 7 today. I can honestly say I could lay back down for a nap but I have a hair appt in 2 hrs. I may set an alarm just so I can nap a bit. I dont this the progesterone did this to me last week. I also had coffee to help me out too.
How many of you have kicked coffee or working up to kicking it?
@babylonghorn16, so sorry you didn't get good news. That just means your special embryo hasn't had its chance yet and that will be the one that works. Wine should help at the reunion as well.
@chicandbubbly, LOVE the cards! I think "fairy dust" is my favorite ingredient for IVF
I got my calendar yesterday and because my boss is in town for meetings with me Mon-Wed, we couldn't get in for our calendar review and lessons on how to administer the meds. We were supposed to get the calendar earlier in the week so it's frustrating, as I start my Lupron injections on Wednesday morning. They were able to get me in for today (Sat) but DH just happens to be on a guys weekend so I'm bringing my mom with. DH said he'd come home if I wanted him to but because these are the mini-injections and not the ones that go into my muscle, I told him not to worry about it. Apparently the shots he has to give me come later before FET, assuming I have at least one viable embryo. Argh. The process is starting! This is our first stab at this (we skipped IUI and went straight to IVF) so I apologize in advance for any lame questions I may ask.
Blessings to all!! xo

@babylonghorn16 - so so sorry it wasn't the news that you hoped for, but you have a very good reason it didn't work and now you can let your body reset - I have a feeling that your first FET will be a success! We are in Houston but I went to college in San Antonio and it was a lovely place to live.
@kyrgyzshan - I grew up in Dallas and most of my family is still in the area. It's a 4 hrs drive or a 1 hour flight to get there which makes them close enough to get to in a hurry but sometimes feels like too far away.
@Foxy8609 - I have kicked coffee except for one cup if I'm at work. Have totally skipped it when in the 2ww for my 2 IUIs (will probably also lay off from FET to beta whenever that happens) but that's just me...all the literature says one cup a day is fine. And all my sisters were heavy coffee drinkers until they found out they were pregnant and all the kids turned out fine. Did I ever mention that I am one of 5 girls and the only only without kids? But I am the best aunt ever to 14 nieces and nephews.
Hope everyone enjoys their weekend!

@OCfortythree Hopefully the injections aren't too bad for you! I was a bit nervous when my DH started doing them (I'd only had two tummy shots before, one by a nurse and one by me), but it turned out okay, and after the second or third one he felt extremely confident about doing them (and only made me pass out once!). When we moved to PIO injections he was again nervous, but after the first one he was fine (he still apologizes every time, but I mostly just ignore the sorrys). PIO shots are also doable yourself, but I chose to have a 3-4 hour outing the first few times DH wasn't available to do them, until he was out on a weekend and I had no choice but to do it myself.

@Foxy8609 I used to drink about 2 cups of coffee a day, but I gave it up when I started my suppression meds. That's what my RE recommends. I gave myself a week to get rid of caffeine, gradually reducing each day by mixing in more decaf. Now I have a cup of decaf almost every morning, which has very little caffeine. It sucked the first week, but I don't even notice anymore!
@OCfortythree I took my mom to that meeting, too! It helped to have someone in my family who knew the ins and outs besides DH. The Lupron injection is easy - you can do it! The injection itself is not bad at all, but I usually had a little bit of tingly/itchiness and redness afterwards. Completely normal, so don't worry if that happens to you. Ask as many lame questions as you need to - we're all happy to help and support. GL getting started!!

Afm had hormone levels drawn today. My estrodile was 390 and my progesterone was 9.8. They want it at 10 so my PIO was upped to 1.5 ml each night. Ouch. I'm still trying to decide about POAS or waiting it out another week for the beta.

@babylonghorn16 I am so, so sorry that this round didn't take. Sending you all the positive vibes for your next transfer!
@Foxy8609 My goal is to be caffeine free. I'm not a coffee drinker but a big hot tea drinker in the mornings. I've been without the last week and I "think" I can keep it up but I'm not on any meds right now. The stims make me sooooo tired for some reason. I literally want to crawl under my desk at work and nap!
@OCfortythree I was so nervous and overwhelmed when I started injections. (I haven't done any intramuscular ones yet) I had a nursing class but then I watched youtube videos for a refresher. You'll be a pro in no time though! I found icing with an ice cube on the injection site beforehand worked best for me. I'm scared for PIO though!

@KLake42 well shit. I'm sorry. I have everything crossed that this is the month - two big healthy eggs just waiting to fertilize! And either way, best of luck as you move forward.

@AugustAng welcome and good luck in the coming weeks!
@chicandbubbly aw - that's so sweet!

Blessings to all!! xo

@Foxy8609 I'm going to try to kick coffee. I have one cup every morning and know I will miss it. I'm going on vacation and am allowing myself to still have my coffee. I'm going to try to taper it off before my suppression meds on 6/23. I know it's a little thing but my morning cup of coffee brings me a lot of joy. Good luck!

Afm had hormone levels drawn today. My estrodile was 390 and my progesterone was 9.8. They want it at 10 so my PIO was upped to 1.5 ml each night. Ouch. I'm still trying to decide about POAS or waiting it out another week for the beta.

@babylonghorn16 - I'm so sorry that you didn't get the news you were hoping for! It must be rough being around so much family, but I'm glad you got to get away and have some wine with your MIL! Very glad to hear that you have a plan in place. Waiting sucks but in the long run it'll be good to get your body back to 100%!
@Foxy8609 My goal is to be caffeine free. I'm not a coffee drinker but a big hot tea drinker in the mornings. I've been without the last week and I "think" I can keep it up but I'm not on any meds right now.
