@JournoGrl23 Yes! So uncomfortable! DH and I tried to knock out a bunch of baby room stuff this weekend and I wish I would have done this way earlier in pregnancy because I'm so sore and worn out from doing very little.
@AliKay20 we're leaving first thing in the morning tomorrow, right when the storms are supposed to hit us. I'm dreading being in the car through the storm and the traffic!
Hope you made it home safely! We got back this afternoon and traffic was not tol bad. Ugh, remember how I said I was worried about getting into an accident with the Rolling Thunder's?! Right after we left the city, a motorcyclist in that group was in an accident and unfortunately passed away.
I'm all up for the events in the city on MDW but I can't stress enough how much anxiety this causes with people coming from all over the place. It is scary to drive among 20 some motorcyclists going at least 65 mph on our busiest highways.
@rikopy DH and I got the crib and glider set up in LO's room, but after my showers next month I'll have a lot of organizing and things to do. I can't imagine how exhausted and sore I'll feel doing that! But yesterday I was extremely sore just from relaxing all day! I couldn't believe literally doing nothing hurt like that.
We got our swing yesterday and I'm pretty excited about it. We vowed to not spend a ton of money on baby gear this time around because they outgrow things so fast. We got it at a baby consignment store for $30.
Today I am sitting in my doctors office for 3 hours for the stupid glucose tolerance test. I had glucose show up in my urine at my appointment last week so I feel doomed to have GD. I'm already googling what the GD diet looks like. Someone should disable Google from my phone.
