R/R/CS: I had a bad headache last night and it stuck with me the entire night. Hoping it's not a migraine! Also, why on earth have both DH and I been waking up at 5:20 every morning this week? We wake up, sort of look at each other and then go back to sleep. I think we both have way too much on our mind.

GTKY: Are you the oldest, middle, youngest, only child? How do you feel about it? I'm the oldest and I have only one younger sister. I'm fine with it, although I always wanted an older brother. I felt he could protect me.

R/R/CS: This not temping thing is both liberating and torture at the same time. I love not being tied to it and stressed by it every day. But I am also completely in the dark. OPKs are still negative but I usually O between cd 14-CD18 so it should be coming soon.

This cold is kicking my ass. I feel like death. And I just want it gone.

I'm the youngest of 2. I have an older sister. But I always wanted a brother. I was a tomboy and my sister was very girly. I thought a brother I would have more fun with. Her bf in highschool who she actually ended up marrying, used to come over and play video games with me. That kinda felt like I had a brother. And my DH has 2 older brothers so I totally get 3 big brothers now and I love it. Not that I dont love my sister, cause I do. We are just very different.

I am the oldest and I act like it...lol My brother is 27 going on 16, but I love him! We are completely opposite. I do think I got it harder than him. I never was given a car, he was, nobody helped me with rent or bills, he was. I just did it all on my own because, at the time, I thought that was the expectation. I like to think I am better for it

I aways wanted more siblings too, that's why I want a big family now.

However, on the upside, passed inspection at work yesterday. It is the first time we have ever passed on the first go. So we are done for another 6-9 months. We were 1 of 2 places that passed in our market so that gives us room to brag a bit.

From my parents, I am the oldest. I have a younger sister.
I always wanted an older brother for the LONGEST TIME!! I remember growing up watching 7th Heaven with my mom and always swooning over how awesome of a big brother Matt was and how I always wished for a brother. My mom would always get huffy about it and sad and I never understood why.
Then when I was 14 I learned that back in his prime Army days, my dad had a fling with a woman before he met my mom, and BOOM, they had my brother!! (My bio father is kind of an ass, so he does not think it is his kid - My bro looks JUST LIKE ME, my sister and my father.) So I finally got a big brother 6 years older than me.

ETA: My mom would always get huffy because she knew I had a brother, but was not allow to say anything. Until she just couldnt take it anymore and spilled all the beans. Best decision she ever made.

There's an issue we've been going round and round on since November, we finally agreed on an answer last month, and now after a month of work revising crap, he says that's not what he agreed to despite having it in writing. So done. So, so very done with today!

GTKY: Are you the oldest, middle, youngest, only child? How do you feel about it? I'm the youngest. My sister is almost 13 years older than me (#oopsbaby haha). I'm fine with it - we are super close despite the age gap and always have been. Couldn't ask for a better sis!

Feeling more positive and relaxed about everything and I'm wondering if it's because of my reiki session I had the other day. May be a bit too crunch for y'all here but I'm taking the good vibes and calmness as it comes!

Growing up I was the middle child and I loved it. I didnt get the brunt of my parents strictness like my sister did and I'm very happy for that because I was WILD. Numerous babysitters quit because of me.

R/R/CS: I've insisted on keeping the windows open all night and that was a bad idea because the last two nights - like the most crucial in the bbt scheme - I have woken up between 4 and 5 because I was way too hot. Then I try and go back to sleep right when the birds wake up and it starts getting lighter but can't sleep. So I feel like I'm getting a temp spike but it's not being represented when I try and temp at 6:30-7:00. Ugh.

Oh, and I just checked and it gave me CH a day before I think I o'd. WTF gosh d****t. Hanging out here today until I get a higher temp tomorrow. Maybe they'll move?

Baby - it's a mixed bag. You do get away with more but holy hell, my brother (and sister but less so) did so much crap to me when my mom wasn't looking and he got away with it too, because he was the oldest and golden child. I loved having older siblings to look up to. I still consider them really important role models for myself.

I was also kind of an only child because my older [half] siblings moved in with their dad when I was 6. So it was just me and my mom until I left for college, and I'm my dad's only. I really wanted a younger sibling when I was little because it was lonely, but now I'm someone who's very comfortable being alone so I'll consider it a plus.

I am the oldest of 3. I don't mind being the oldest, I like that my younger siblings look up to me and ask me for advice, that always makes me feel good. Of course I did have it a little harder growing up since my parents got more lenient with each kid.

RRCS: Seeing the doctor today to f/u on all my bloodwork from last cycle. Sounds like DH is coming with, so that will be nice. See what else he wants me to do.

GTKY: I am the baby of two, just had a visit from my older brother on Monday! We are 9+ years apart though, so I've heard that makes me almost like an only child again. My dad had four kids with his first wife, but they are all closer to my mom's age, so they feel more like aunts/uncles than siblings to me. I definitely always liked having an older brother. He still likes to be protective of me lol He's a great guy. My bestie growing up really became like a sister to me, tho, and I still am like that, where I have just a few very close female friendships that are almost more like family. Complete with the love/hate thing sometimes! Lol

There are 4 of us - 29, 25 (me), 21, and 20. When we were kids we were grouped into the older kids (29 and 25) and the younger kids (21 and 20). I was always left in charge of the kids when my parents went away because my older sister is the opposite of responsible. That being said, I was a beg for forgiveness, don't ask permission kid so that drove my parents nuts. I'm considered the rebellious one because I pierced my nose and got a tattoo. It's weird.

GTKY: Are you the oldest, middle, youngest, only child? How do you feel about it? Only child. My biological father, who I don't speak to has a child who is now 19, but I haven't seen since he was 4. I don't know if he knows anything about me. My stepfather, who I'm very close to has two kids, but I'm not close to them. I'm honestly fine with being an only child, I'm very close to my parents, but I kind of wish my whole family was bigger for the benefit of my future kids. But both DH and I came from quiet families and would likely be fine with one child, MAYBE two. I'm more focused on making the first one happen.

R/R/CS: Just hoping for a temp spike soon! DH doesn't think temping will work. He was looking at my chart yesterday and was like well what is your standard deviation? It looks really high so how can you rely on that? He's also an engineer so I'm guessing that is where his skepticism comes from. I showed him a bunch of example charts from the FF charting emails they sent and he is still skeptic but maybe less so. Then he pointed out that nothing medically about me seems to be a textbook case so even if it works for some people it might not work for me... I hope to prove him wrong soon.

I'm the oldest and my brother is 2.5 years younger than me. My parents were always so much stricter with me and I had to deal with him being their golden child who "will carry on the family name" since my dad's brother only has girls and I was a girl. It seems so outdated to me but that was a huge deal when he was born. My parents showed some home videos to my DH and after he's like you were barely on the video, it was just your brother.

I like your attitude though @Zoey1019 and I feel like I need to adopt that mindset since I do think I am better off, he's only a couple years younger but going nowhere with his life.

R/R/CS: So, I got my peak Reading on the CBAD yesterday morning, but if I get a temp higher then 98.0 tomorrow it gives me O on Tuesday, which is fine for timing, but confusing. Has anyone gotten their positive OPK after they O before?

R/R/CS: got a super dark OPK yesterday afternoon and was finally able to BD this morning. Feeling bloated and crampy... Hoping O is soon. Raving because tonight is my last night shift for a while! If no BFP this cycle at least my charting will be more consistent.

GTKY: Are you the oldest, middle, youngest, only child? How do you feel about it? Oldest. My brother is autistic (relatively high functioning) so that is a special relationship. For a long time growing up I resented my parents for not having a "normal" sibling for me, but as I've gotten older I've of course grown to understand their decision and have found plenty of other "big bro/sis" role models along the way.

WAYDTGKU: Ordering OPKs today!!!

R/R/CS: I usually only have cramps on CD1 but they were horrible yesterday. Also, all the emotions happened yesterday too. Hopefully today will be a productive day so I don't feel so overwhelmed. H worked his last night shift last night though!!! He starts on days next week and while he is not excited to work while admin is working, I am happy that I will actually get to see him! He works 4-10s which means I basically don't see him for four days when he works nights. But now he will be home in the evenings.

GTKY: Are you the oldest, middle, youngest, only child? How do you feel about it?

I am a middle child but I have to share my middle child status! Haha. I have an older brother (9 years older), an older sister (7 years older), and a younger brother (2 years younger). We weren't all that close growing up, but now we are best friends. We talk in a group chat almost every day and go on sibling dates when we can all get together. This month we are going to see Garth Brooks in Vegas! I love my siblings and I'm glad I have who I have.

R/R/CS: My temps look funky to me but this is my first month so I'm just trying to relax about it...but that's not typical of me at all. If I'm going to start OPKs, I need to go ahead and do it. I'm having CD21 bloodwork taken to test my progesterone level but I'd rather know exactly when I'm about O. This is harder than anyone told me it would be *sigh*

GTKY: I am the oldest with a brother who is 34 and a sister who is 28. We are all very close but DANG they had it easy (little sis still does)! I love them to pieces

R/R/CS: I'm sitting in on 3 interviews today. Sat in on 2 yesterday and anticipate that the rest of my day will be extremely busy, so I'm sorry if I don't get back on to respond to you all. But I'm hoping to at least read/love tit.

My work unit is small. At capacity, we are 5 people. We currently only have 3 of us. We are currently hiring for 2 positions. And it's year end so it's our busiest time of the year. ::Sarcastic yay!::

Nothing much going on the TTC front. Just temping and waiting for some EWCM to show up.

I was the youngest child of 3 until I was 13. Then my dad (parents divorced when I was 2 years old) had another child (boy). Since I lived with my mom and only visited my dad on weekends, I never had that day to day interaction with my younger brother that I had with my older siblings and often times *forget* about him. Or I think of him more as a nephew than a brother. I still think of myself as the youngest. I have a pretty good relationship with my siblings and am closest to my sister (4 yeas older).

GTKY: Middle of three (brother 3 years older, sister 2 years younger) with another older batch of 3 half siblings where the youngest is 15 years older than me. I'm not actually close to any of them, and I actively dislike my younger sister to the point that we only speak maybe once a year. Girl is crazy. I'm forming a nice relationship with my brother's fiance now though, which is nice.

WAYDTGKU: Metformin, Femara + Ovidrel + IUI

R/R/CS: My ultrasound went well this morning! I have one follicle that is 18mm and a few other smaller follicles. My RE said follicles grow 1-3mm per day once they are 'active' so he wants to let them continue to grow today, and then I will trigger tomorrow morning when I wake up. The IUI is scheduled for Saturday morning. He also said my lining looks great for implantation. I'm just really happy the appointment went well!

GTKY: I am the youngest--I have one brother who is 3 years older than me. I liked being the youngest--I felt like my parents were more lenient with me than my brother.

R/R/CS: I've been trying to lose weight. It's going pretty well for the most part, but I've been stuck at the same weight for about a week and a half now. It's frustrating. I'm doing everything right, I just want to see the numbers drop! I'm sure AF has something to do with it, and I'll see some progress after she leaves, but still.

I'm the oldest of 2. My sister is almost 5 years younger than me. We're super close now, but had nothing in common growing up because of the age gap. Sometimes I wish we had been closer in age so we would have interacted more when we were kids, but once we hit a certain age (teens & early 20s), it didn't matter anymore and we became best friends.

WAYDTGKU: Preseed, charting temps and CM

R/R/CS: I'm going through a weird feeling since Memorial Day weekend. I'm not sure if it's the weather or being out of work for summer break or what. I think part of it is that Enterprise is trying to charge me over $700 for blue paint in the trunk of the rental car I had last week. The blue paint was in the trunk when I got the car, but the trunk wasn't open during our walk around inspection. When I argued that the paint had been in the car before I rented it, I was told that the person who did my walk around with me knows the previous renter "personally" and that he wouldn't have had blue paint. I was also told that the previous renter had the additional coverage that would make Enterprise responsible for the damage, while I denied the coverage. The company refused to give me the name of the employee who checked the car over when the previous renter returned it.

I've been so upset about this, plus the dreary weather and not having work to distract me, that I don't even care to try for a baby right now. I spent a year wanting a baby passionately. I spent last month obsessing over trying to get pregnant. Now, I just want to get over this depressing feeling.

GTKY: Are you the oldest, middle, youngest, only child? How do you feel about it? I'm the middle girl. I have three older brothers and an older sister. My older sister is 8 years older, and the brothers are 10 and 18 years older. I'm second to youngest overall, but I've always identified with the middle child characteristics the most, except when it comes to planning family events, then I act like an oldest child.

GTKY: I am sort of an only, sort of the youngest child. My half-sister is 16 1/2 years older than me and we have never lived together. We aren't close. Growing up I wanted a sibling and I wish I'd gotten to experience that kind of relationship.

@MollyandD Sorry you're having a rough morning with the stupid car rental people, and sounds like a rough TTC morning, too. I was feeling the same way last night, just depressed. Like seriously, I was that crazy girl literally planning out my nursery collages, buying cribsheets and wool diaper covers ...in December. Now I'm just like wtf. But at least it is a sunny day here and there is a nice breeze blowing in from the backyard. Hopefully your weather will improve a bit where you are, and maybe your mood/outllook along with it. ;) ((hugs))

WAYDTGKU: Still waiting to start anything. Trying to improve overall health. This part of the cycle is kind of boring.

R/R/CS: Enjoyed all the baby cuddles yesterday and hung out with some friends, but left me feeling kinda sad.I kinda felt left out at times. I also always feel the need to spread all the info that I learned on this awesome site, but I know they won't understand so I just have to sit back and hear the annoying comments.

GTKY: I am somewhere in between and I like it. Growing up my brothers always picked on me and still do, but they are always there for me when needed and I love having a younger sister.

@momtoleo Ugh, headaches and migraines are the worst! Hope you are feeling better now and can sleep a full night tonight!
@JediAlly85 I am debating skipping temping this month, but your post is making me question that decision haha Common OPKs! Feel better soon!
@Zoey1019 Yes! I think the kids that have to figure out life on their own are way better off in the future. I always kinda feel bad for the ones that get everything handed to them, they will not know how to deal with reality when hits them.

WAYDTGKU: right now just temping

R/R/CS: Well, I took most of a week off from temping because we were moving and I wasn't really sleeping, etc. It was mostly my period anyway so it shouldn't really matter that much. But, this morning I started temping again and my temp was crazy high for pre-ovulation. So now I am all annoyed and wished I had been temping. I'm sure it was just a fluke. But, I wasn't really hot or anything so I don't understand why it would be that high. It was a whole degree higher than normal. Weird.

I am the oldest. I have one younger sister. She is about exactly 3 years younger than me. I liked how it worked out for us. I like being the oldest, although at times it has been hard. My sister has some learning disabilities and what seems to be some very minor brain damage from birth (although can never really be proved). So, there have been a lot of times where I have felt the need to protect and help her more than the average older sister situation. She is a wild spirit and I also have felt really jealous about sometimes feeling "forced" to be the responsible one. DH has 2 older sisters (and one younger brother) and it has been really fun having the older sibling experience with them and little brother experience as well.

R/R/CS: DH is still being weird. He's been super stressed about everything and just doesn't want to HIO. His brother is getting married tomorrow and I know part of his stress is his best man speech. He's supposed to be writing it out today. Hopefully that will help with the stress levels.

I'm the baby with an older brother and an older sister. Everyone likes to talk about how spoiled I am, but its not true. We all had the same rules growing up, I'm just the goody two shoes who actually followed them instead of getting punished. My parents actually got more religious the older they got, so they were stricter with me.

That and the mind games that the older siblings liked to play. They loved to tell me tall tales and see if they could get me to believe them. My brother had me convinced that Captain Hook lived in our basement. He thought it was funny until my parents made him go downstairs with me every time I had to go down because I was too afraid to go by myself.

R/R/CS: I really have been trying to chart this cycle. My cycles have been getting longer and longer each month since coming off of BC pills. It's making me nervous. I am having difficulty interpreting my CM and cervical position. Any chart stalkers or gurus....

what do you think about my chart? Do you think I may have ovulated on CD 24? My boobs have been sore the past couple of days which I think happens to me around or after I ovulate and I am pretty sure I had EW CM yesterday morning and the day before, but again....I feel confused and not sure how to interpret it very well yet.

GTKY: Are you the oldest, middle, youngest, only child? How do you feel about it? I grew up as an only child. My parents divorced and both remarried. All of my half siblings are under the age of 12. I have 2 half brothers on my dad's side, but I rarely communicate with him. I have a half sister on my mom's side. I am close with my half sister, but I do wish I had siblings closer to my age.

@stephy_p looking at your chart the way it is now, it doesn't look like you ovulated yet, but I think you need to see what your temp does tomorrow. While there was a temp jump on CD 24, your temp patterns look pretty similar most of the cycle. I know I'm not much help, but based on what I'm seeing, it doesn't look like you O'ed yet. I know you are having trouble with your CM, could you start inputting that information in FF to provide additional information?

WAYDTGKU: checking CM, sex when we feel like it. no temping this month. I tried but failed.

R/R/CS: I have at least a week, probably more like 10 days, before I would ordinarily O, so I'm just hanging out. Mostly I'm focused on weaning off of my stupid breast pump and why DD has suddenly been waking up really early in the morning again. And refusing to eat solids all of a sudden. Sigh.

GTKY: Are you the oldest, middle, youngest, only child? How do you feel about it? Oldest, I have a younger sister. I don't really "feel" any particular way about it? I guess my parents were stricter with me, but also I was already away at college when they went through their messy divorce (while my sister had to be in the house with them the whole time), so it probably evens out.

WAYDTGKU: femara cd 3-7, OPKs, temping, BD EOD...

R/R/CS: anxiously waiting to ovulate!
I know when I ovulate - but I still like to do OPKs to confirm. I usually get ovulation pains, nausea, constipation soon after so I know. Which is a nice thing! At least I have some warning.
Starting a new prenatal, still taking CoQ10, and continuing with my organic diet. Went to Costco and loaded up on all my organic faves! Although lately, cookies from Costco are my weakness! Love those bad boys. DH is also taking fertilsan. Hoping this is our month, since last month we had great timing, confirmed ovulation. Just didn't result in a BFP. And we are so tired of TI, it's no longer worth while when you've been trying to conceive for so long!

GTKYQ: I am the oldest... And I have a Type A personality to go along with being the oldest. I enjoy being the oldest now, but I didn't like being the oldest when I was younger felt my younger siblings got it easier than me. I was the first to go through stuff and felt my parents were stricter on me than my siblings.
