She's 29 and I'm 33. We only did one try to get our bfp. We got 11 eggs, but only 3 made it to day 5. So we put 1 in and froze 2.

@Hoping4Success my amh was0.1. We did ivf. Got 3 eggs but only 1 made it to day five. We froze it and did a fet because our dr said the odds are better with a frozen vs fresh transfer and we got our bfp in March.

@LSatturo126 I'm feeling a lot better than I was previously. I can actually do things now and get out of the house more. Haha! It's getting exciting. The nursery is painted and cribs are here ready to be put together! I want to be as prepared as possible just in case I have to be on bedrest. I hope not though! Did AF arrive? @Hoping4Success I'm 34 with a .47 amh. We just got a BFP from our first round this week. I had 6 follies, 5 matured, 3 fertilzed, 2 made it to day 5 and 1 passed genetic testing.

They will be putting me on Letrozole along with shots I'm sure. I'll keep you posted!!! I'm super positive this time around. Getting massages, going for acupuncture next week, down 15lbs. I'm feeling good for a change

It is
known that AMH levels are considered 'satisfactory' if they are above 21.98
pmol/l. Although age and other circumstances have to be taken into account. Low
AMH is NOT a cause of
infertility, but it indicates a decreased egg reserve. When there are fewer
developing eggs in the ovaries, the chance of a mature and healthy egg being
released and fertilized decreases. In age-related low AMH, the quality of the
eggs may also be affected. This is because eggs accumulate mutations over time.
This may mean that the chances of abnormal fertilization and miscarriage are
increased.
Often when women hear that they have low AMH results, they are told that they
need to receive high amounts of stimulation to counteract their low ovarian
reserve. However, women with low AMH tend to not respond well to fertility
medication, since they have low numbers of eggs. In addition, high stimulation
is associated with collecting eggs with more chromosomal abnormalities which do
not create viable embryos. So the approach should be centered on focusing on the quality, not quantity of eggs.
So you'd better to find the place and option when they either use no or low
amounts of stimulation, focusing on the eggs that are naturally selected by the
body. Have a look at terms Natural Cycle IVF and Mild IVF.

Ok ladies! The doctor said it looks like 12 on my one ovary which is sooooo much more then they have ever seen. Now all I need is them ALL TO GROW TOGETHER lol. I'm starting on two Letrozole a day. 20 units of menupur morning and one at night, 450 gonal f at night and 20 units of HCG per night. 4 shots a day and 2 pills .... I'm hoping this will work, we just need one more good embryo. Thanks for sticking around and waiting for me ladies... You all know who you are!

So follow up D6... They saw 10 follicles still growing all together too so I'm happy about that. I started acupuncture yesterday, hurt a little quick pinches, but I felt so much better. Doing that twice a week now. That's it for the moment. How's everyone feeling?

I'm still getting nausea, although not too bad. The heartburn is no joke!! Our little girl is gonna have a full head of hair! Haha

I got my med schedule. I'll be injecting 300 units menopur, 300 units Gonal-F, plus the lupron every day. It seem like a lot, but since I'm a poor responder, I guess they're throwing everything and the kitchen sink at me. My baseline is tomorrow.
7 IUIs, 7 BFNs.
2 IVF attempts, both cancelled and converted to IUI, both BFNs.
Decided that my tired old ovaries are ready to retire.
Next step- reciprocal IVF, using my wife's eggs, my uterus!

@wenikilina @twomommiestobe I got it full blown this morning lol (tmi I know) and that was at day 31... The estrioldol I think prolonged it a bit. I go in for BW and US tomorrow morning for day 2. They will be putting me on Letrozole along with shots I'm sure. I'll keep you posted!!! I'm super positive this time around. Getting massages, going for acupuncture next week, down 15lbs. I'm feeling good for a change

Hi! Sorry you're facing this.
It is known that AMH levels are considered 'satisfactory' if they are above 21.98 pmol/l. Although age and other circumstances have to be taken into account. Low AMH is NOT a cause of infertility, but it indicates a decreased egg reserve. When there are fewer developing eggs in the ovaries, the chance of a mature and healthy egg being released and fertilized decreases. In age-related low AMH, the quality of the eggs may also be affected. This is because eggs accumulate mutations over time. This may mean that the chances of abnormal fertilization and miscarriage are increased.
Often when women hear that they have low AMH results, they are told that they need to receive high amounts of stimulation to counteract their low ovarian reserve. However, women with low AMH tend to not respond well to fertility medication, since they have low numbers of eggs. In addition, high stimulation is associated with collecting eggs with more chromosomal abnormalities which do not create viable embryos. So the approach should be centered on focusing on the quality, not quantity of eggs. So you'd better to find the place and option when they either use no or low amounts of stimulation, focusing on the eggs that are naturally selected by the body. Have a look at terms Natural Cycle IVF and Mild IVF.
