After another successful appointment today, I'm ready to share this one. I am 13w2d, but this is from 11w3d. We weren't supposed to get this ultrasound, but the baby hid from the Doppler, so we got to get a peek at the bean.
So, my husband and I are are pretty tall people. I'm 5'10" and he's 6'10", so we were definitely not surprised when our Dr said that the baby was growing a little ahead of schedule lol. I went in at 8w 6d but Puppy (yes that's his/her nickname) was measuring at 9w 3d. The nurse looked at us both and said "yep that's about right". Saw that coming! Lol And my mom and I are such cry babies as soon as I saw Puppy I instantly started to cry and when we heard the heartbeat, me, my mom, and my husband started crying! It was a great day! EDD is November 29!
Our ultrasound technician printed out like TEN photos at our 12 week appointment yesterday (in the past two it was just 3). Not sure if that was just because of the NT scan (which was normal)? Sounds like everyone's 12 week babies have been wiggling all over the place and our baby was no different! He/she was waving and kicking and arching their back. It's incredible that I can't feel any of it but it made me so happy to see. This was a brief millisecond of stillness for our first profile of baby. I can't wait to find out the gender next month!!!
Here is my little nugget at a 12w1d NT Scan. The scan went well, the one thing that was noted was that my fibroid had grown 2cm and is about the same size as the baby. I am now 15 weeks and I get nervous inbetween scans. I can't wait to see the next batch of pictures from around week 20!

Here is mine at 13W6D. Baby is doing great, very healthy, heart beat was at 149. Baby was wiggling so much. DF and I were so emotional. Hearing the baby's heart is such a joy that we actually ordered a baby Doppler to hear it as a good morning and good night lullaby. We are so excited!
Baby was measuring at 12 weeks 6 days - heart rate of 164. Everything was great! I'm so excited baby is finally starting to "take shape" Other than being more tired than normal I haven't had any symptoms so ultrasound days help to make everything feel more REAL. They couldn't tell sex yet, but we're thinking girl. Next sex check and ultrasound will be on June 10th.
Thanks for the advice about the NT scan! The tech told me that I needed to have a full bladder because of how early I am, it helps to move the uterus up for a better picture, but that at the 20 week scan it does not need to be as full. Our baby measured right on track at 12w5d. During the scan, I thought I saw what appeared to lead to the conclusion of a baby boy. The tech said she could not confirm but it did look convincing! She scanned it a few more times, and I was able to capture a quick screenshot. What do you think?
I had another nasty bleed late last thursday night so had to wait all weekend to find out if everything was still okay...worst 3 days ever. Luckily our little squidgy is still growing strong! so relieved. I'm still being told i have a high risk of loss but i swear this one is a trooper. Measuring 12w4d and heartbeat was 163bpm.
Had our NT scan today. Doc said everything looked great. Babe had a heart rate of 167 and we actually got to hear it this time! I forgot from my first how cool it is to see baby move around in there during the scan. I'm definitely thinking we are team pink but we won't find out for another 8 weeks for sure.
Hi guys! 12w3d here, super psyched to see our little one earlier this week! I had NO idea that the tech could try to see gender at this stage, but he offered so hey! Aaaand it looks like its a boy?!? How incredible! I wouldve been thrilled with either of course but was hoping for a boy, although was convinced it was a girl based on how I was feeling and all the old wives tales and chinese gender chart. Still, as tech said its not confirmed. Do you guys feel its pretty much solid boy, given the pic?
From my NT scan today. 13w6d. I'm amazed how much baby looks like a little human now the heart was pumping away, 159 bpm. Baby was doing lots of wiggling and waving at us with tiny little hands. NT measured 1.8 cm, and doc said everything looks wonderful. My heart is so full
@ZoeFer thanks! We are very excited (we had been trying for 5 years)but now onto the naming task! We have some 3D pictures as well but my mother in law said they are creepy. I think they are adoreable but that's why I didn't share them :-)
Our second ultrasound was amazing. This was three weeks ago today when I was 13w3d. Baby (who we now know is a boy) was going crazy. It took the ultrasound tech a bit to get the measurements she needed because he was so active. Then at one point he did this! He was at the perfect angle and the tech was at the perfect angle, and he looked right at us with arms up like he was asking for a hug. Even the ultrasound tech thought it was adorable.
@ZoeFer it's amazing to see the difference only a few weeks makes. We did an elective ultrasound since our doctor also wouldn't give us one until 20 weeks. So we found a place close by, and apparently we got to find the gender as well it was a super exciting experience. We are having a boy. I recommended you elect for an ultrasound on your own as well. The best thing EVER!

It's a boy! 16w2d. His face was kind of sandwiched between tissue or something in the ultrasound when the technician was trying to get a good look at his face from head on, so it kind of popped out and then hid and then popped out and hid and it made us crack up like he was messing with us. I feel like I maybe felt him move but I'm not sure. It's still not consistent so I can never be sure if I'm actually feeling him or something else.

I'm a FTM and it's so amazing to me still that he's growing so fast in my belly! I can't wait to meet my little guy!
