Hi there, and welcome to the January 2017 BMB!
This post is intended to keep our board organized and easy for everyone to use, as well as welcoming!
First,
please use the search function. As we get more people and more threads, there are sure to be duplicate posts. For easy to answer questions, the search box will be your friend. It's on the top right on desktop, bottom of the page on mobile.
Next,
introduce yourself on this thread and
add your due date to this
one!
Some links that you may find helpful:What do all of those abbreviations mean?I want a ticker on my signature! How to add a ticker to your signature on the computer
Go here:
https://global.thebump.com/ and select one of the pregnancy ticker options. Choose your background and marker. Insert your expecting date. Generate ticker code. Copy the HTML Code.
On separate page, go to your BMB page. On the top right corner, click on the far right button that looks like a person's head and click on Preferences. On the left hand side, click on Signature Settings. Above the text box, click on the far right button, Toggle HTML view. Paste the HTML Code in the text box and hit save.
How to GIF - Computer, Mobile, and iPhoneFor those of you that are new to TB since you got your BFP, the below are standard threads to all boards. Anyone can start these threads, just please do not duplicate! Some work better if one person volunteers and those that have are listed below. Feel free to volunteer! If you accidentally start a duplicate thread, that's a great opportunity to start a GIF party!

-Ticker Changes (when your weeks progression changes, you participate in that day. For example, if I will be 5 weeks on Thursday, that's the day I participate)

I'm a little confused and seeking clarification. So there's a TTGP check-in and a PGAL check-in but there's no general 'people who weren't participating on the Bump but still want to check-in' check-in? Or am I missing it? Are we slicing and dicing ourselves too finely?
Up for discussion - just trying to figure out where I can participate and I don't see a natural fit.

Ok. That seems rather arbitrary to me and somewhat isolating to a segment of the community but if this is what this community has decided that i'll wait to do check-ins until June.

I don't think you had to have been active on the TTCAL board in order to check in on the PGAL thread ... at least I don't think I've seen it that way before. I think you just have to be pregnant after a loss...
I use to be very active on TTCAL years ago but not since having a child. I plan on joining in on the PGAL thread even though I haven't been recently active on TTCAL - I think the thread is more for people having similar anxiety and concerns with a successful pregnancy, no?

@Sunflower9939 and @Gogogirl16 Let's start these this coming week, as to be all inclusive, if that's okay with everyone.
Also, I think it should be noted that anyone can start a daily or weekly thread if it does not currently have a posted volunteer, or if the posted volunteer hasn't made the post and it's getting later in the day. Again, if that's agreeable to all you lovely ladies.
