It is a bittersweet day today for me. Today was my due date for my angel baby. I am more emotional than I thought I would be but today is also a good day because we are doing our anatomy scan today and we will learn the sex of this baby. I can't believe today I would have been holding a baby it just makes me want to get to Oct more quickly so I can hold this baby.
@ejmo68 I'm so sorry. My due date is the 16th, so it's getting close. This pregnancy has been filled with weird emotions because I want my angel baby back, but I know that if I'd had that baby, I wouldn't have this one. Try and enjoy the day and hug your belly lots. *Hugs*
@ejmo68 Good luck at your AS! Sorry today is a tough day and a reminder of your angel baby but October will be here before we know it! Update us after your scan!

@ejmo68 Hugs your way today. I'm sure it must be super emotional and nothing will ever "make up" for your loss, but how wonderful to have an anatomy scan to look forward too. FX that October comes super fast for all of us!

@ejmo68 sending you positive thoughts on a tough day. It's strange how dates can line up like that. I'm actually do almost to the day that I had my loss last year. I often wonder how I'll feel when I get there. I hope today brings you happiness with the sadness.
2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? May 24th level 2 scan.
3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: Like many of you, I'm freaking out. My anxiety is at an all-time high and I can't shake this feeling that something is wrong with the baby or that I'll lose him/her. I don't know if it's paranoia from my loss but, man, I've been thinking about it a lot this week. It has brought me to the point of tears. I'm thinking of you guys and I wish all of us a clear head soon. This struggle is the pits.
4. GTKY: What's your favorite clothing item right now? Sweat and yoga pants
@ejmo68 I'm so sorry for such a bittersweet day. My day came and went in March and it was a tough month. Positive thoughts and love for this pregnancy and I can't wait hear what you're having!
@Michi1382 I'm so sorry that you're feeling so anxious! Do you at least get a doppler check before May 24th? When's the last time you had one? I hope you can find something to relieve your anxiety a bit. Just try and remember that chances are everything is fine. Hopefully the days between now and May 24th go super fast for you, and/or you'll feel the baby move before then and get that reassurance!

Don't hate me you guys, but my previous due date (April 26) passed without me noticing. I've just been so focused on this baby and trying not to suffocate under my giant load of work while I'm exhausted all the time.
Hugs to all who need them! I'll try to tag more when I'm not on mobile. I always love reading this thread, it's comforting to know that there are others that have my same fears, apprehensions, and grief at times. There are days I don't think I'll be completely fearless about this pregnancy until I deliver.
1. How far along are you? 14w 5d
2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? Anatomy scan next month! I can't wait to see this peanut again, and I'm excited to learn which color our team is
3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: had a good appointment today! Just a quick check in with Doctor. No u/s, but I got to hear that beautiful heartbeat She asked if we'd be finding out the sex next month (yes), and then asked if I had an intuition because she likes to see how often moms are right. I honestly don't know and couldn't answer. It will be a surprise either way!
4. GTKY: What's your favorite clothing item right now? uh, pajamas. I change out of work clothes and into jammies as soon as I get home. No shame.
@RainMira9e Nothing wrong with that. It's good to move on and not get stuck in the past. I probably wouldn't have even remembered if my mom hasn't brought it up a couple weeks ago.
@simcal18 Thank you so much! No Doppler or anything between now and then So I'll just have to wait it out. I wanted to buy a Doppler on Amazon but only 2 came up and the reviews weren't that great so I wasn't sure. Thank you though! I'm keeping my eye on the prize.
2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? 20 week ultrasound
3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: I'm just happy to have made it through 1st tri
4. GTKY: What's your favorite clothing item right now? Ugh. All my maternity jeans are too big and my regular jeans are starting to get too snug. I love my black yoga pants at night
What the heck is up with my pregnancy having to be so darn "special"? Can't I just have a boring ol normal pregnancy? Let's see what I'm up to: Got pregnant within 6 hours of the doc giving us the go-ahead post d&c (apparently we're ridiculously talented ), Failed an early glucose tolerance test (in grand fashion I might add!), Started insulin fro GD and now sleepwalk EVERY night even though that's "not a side effect" according to the diabetes doc, and have lost 8 lbs this pregnancy and yet have a waistline that is already 6 inches larger than Christmas... what's up with that?
But besides all the drama I have to go through... the little one seems to be doing perfectly. Poor baby, I'll be reminding her of all this suffering throughout her entire teenage years.
@anna.oskar Sorry for all the drama. I've got a high-maintenance baby over here too! I hope things calm down for you, but at least baby is healthy.
I had a crazy night. Fought with my husband again and started cramping in the middle of it. I started to go downstairs to get something but my husband was afraid I would fall, so he told me to come back up. I slipped as I was turning around and hit the steps hard. I cramped for hours while my husband held me and tried to get me to calm down and breathe. We said if it didn't stop by a certain time, we'd go to the hospital. I ended up passing out from exhaustion, but I've been cramping since I woke up. And of course I can't get in to the doctor today cause she's always booked for weeks and I can't go to the hospital because I have one last final tonight.

@anna.oskar sorry about all the pregnancy craziness! @krzyriver Sorry you had a stressful evening! FX for you and baby, hopefully you can get reassurance soon!
Just had out anatomy scan... it went great!!! Doc said everything looks healthy and up to par and he's measuring on track. So happy and relieved.
Heard back from the doctor. They sent me to the ER again. Since I'm almost 18 weeks they sent me up to Labor and Delivery. So I'm not sure how that's going to go. I really wish I could have a more boring pregnancy. Lol

Well that was scary as shit. Went in for what I assumed would be a routine 20 minute checkup and NMW could not find the heartbeat with the Doppler. My OB had found it easily at 10 weeks so I was internally freaking out. We literally JUST saw the baby yesterday on ultrasound and NMW thought it was likely baby was just hiding but still - !!!!!!!!! NMW was concerned enough that she sent us over to ultrasound for a quick check -- thank God they were there and that they could squeeze us in.
Baby is FINE with a HB of 142. I apparently just have an awesome trifecta of a tilted uterus, plenty of belly fat, and an uncooperative baby who likes to flop face down and hide from dopplers/ultrasounds. SO glad that baby is okay but holy cow was waiting for the US scary. Thank goodness we'd just had one done yesterday or I can't even imagine how freaked out I would have been.
