@Aquinna82 You sound like you're at the point I was a few days ago. I just had my LO today, so hopefully the end is in sight for you too!
Yayyy congrats!!! And yay for me too bc I hope you're right. I read your post yesterday about the only comfortable place being on the toilet and I was like....yup that's me.
The crotch pain is pretty serious. I hope that means things are happening, though! Also, possibly lost some of my mucus plug? Just seemed like more and thicker than my normal discharge:..
FWIW i started drinking the earth mama's 3rd tri tea about 12 hours before things started moving & the first of my MP appeared. No idea if it's coincidence or not.
I also have that tea ! I haven't drank much because I had the morning wellness tea when I was sick and has no idea it was the same flavor so it tends to make me nauseous but I'm trying to get through it and drink it but if I can't I will just go buy regular red raspberry leaf tea lol !
Such a weird day... I woke up late this morning and stayed in bed with DH rather than getting up for breakfast (my norm). Late morning I was having vision issues where basically the bottom right quadrant of my sight was gone... not black but almost like when you accidentally look at the sun or have a really bright camera flash in your eye. I ate cereal and drank water and my vision came back, but I also had a slight headache and figured I should not take any chances so I went to L&D just to get checked out. After several blood pressure checks and urine and blood screens plus a neurological exam, there didn't appear to be anything wrong so they discharged me. I still have a minor headache but otherwise feel fine. Anyone else ever have anything like this?
@Kurrant I had a similar experience to @hellogoodbye2 at either 32 or 33 weeks, I hadn't felt baby move as much for a day and a half so I went in. The second I was hooked up she started bopping around in there like nobody's business. I've noticed more movement again since then, it's just different than what it was before - more roll-y / slide-y. Sorry the nurses were TWs for you.
Hey ladies. This is my first time posting in any of the chats. I'm 35 weeks today, and my LO dropped three days ago. I'm having pretty severe pressure in my hips and frequent cervical pain. My BH occur usually 2-3 times an hour and go away when I lie down, but man do they get intense! Mucus plug hasn't been lost yet (no bloody show) so just keeping an eye on my BH for any changes and keeping from doing anything too strenuous. Warm baths and Hubby massaging my lower back also helps, but they come back almost immediately after

A GF of mine had this and she ended up losing her sight completely for 20 min. What it ended up being was LO settling on a nerve that cut off blood supply as well as sight. Really weird and scary (she was driving when it happened). Hopefully it's something as simple as getting LO to reposition? GL

I've been drinking that tea for a little over a month...I actually enjoy it a lot more than I thought I would.

I know I've been lucky so far to mostly avoid heartburn, but oh my god is it kicking in with a vengeance tonight. I took some Zantac about an hour ago but no difference so far.
so yesterday after experiencing some spotty lights, feeling off, having difficulty urinating, a 3-day long headache, and some high blood pressure readings, my dr wanted me to be examined in L&D. They ran some labs, monitored both myself & baby, and everything came back normal except for a raised creatinine level. 2 weeks ago it was at a .6 and now it is 1.1, which is high, even for a non-pregnant person according to my doctor, but the concern is more that it's almost doubled in two weeks. I guess it has something to do with my kidney function. I'm going back to the doctors for some more extensive labs today, and we will discuss options from there.
Another night in triage with a migraine so bad I was vomiitting. BP and baby were fine. Nothing alarming besides mild dehydration although it is most likely due to the vomiting. They're thinking my headaches are cluster migraines not related in anyway to this pregnancy.
I'm 38 weeks and all along I've been saying I wanted labor to happen naturally and for LO to take her time but I'm not nearly as patient any more. I'd really like to see a headache specialist and get some answers but I can't do anything until she arrives. I'm all about sacrificing for LO but I also want to be healthy enough to care for her.

Migraines are the absolute worst and I would feel the same way. When I was on the pill I would get them monthly around my period and when I stopped the pill they completely went away. I had seen a neurologist and she did guess that they were caused by the hormones in the pill... not sure what your history is but it's possible yours will go away after LO is born. FX for you.
Going to apologize ahead of time because, little awkward here. Ok so uhm...I've had extra discharge the past several weeks which I know is totally normal, but the past few days it's felt like I leak the slightest amount of fluid and I've just told myself it's discharge or pee...or both. It's not enough to put a pad in but enough to leave my underwear a little wet. Then today, whenever I sit to go pee I feel these air bubbles in my vagina...I have an ob appt tomorrow and fully intend on bringing it up, but I just want to see if anyone else is experiencing this/has experienced it. I'd have a hard time believing that this is due to an amniotic fluid leak, but I could be wrong.
Went for my regular appointment Friday and my blood pressure was slightly high so they did labs and had me go back today. Go back this morning and it was still high, which I knew because I was stressed all weekend about it, so they sent me to L&D for observation and blood pressure checks. All was fine there after they assured me it wasn't high enough for delivery and after hearing that it went back to normal levels the whole time. So the hospital sends me on my merry way with orders for a 24 hour collection. I get home and then the doctors office calls me and the nurse asks if the hospital mentioned me stopping work. I told her no one mentioned that because they said everything looked great. So I ask the nurse if this was just a day or two of staying home or until delivery. Of course she doesn't know and said she'll call me back after talking with the doctor. Looks like I'm out this week and hopefully can go back next week, they think I'm over working myself which is causing it. Needless to say it was all way too much today and really hoping LO stays in longer as I'm only 35x1
Has any STMs have magnesium for high BP that could cause seizures when they were laboring? I feel like I'm a couple hours away from that, and need to mentally prepare myself for what it may be like.
Having BH type contractions, yet accompanied by a cramp in my side. Not sure what it means, but I'm going to try and lay down and time them to see if it means anything....
Is anyone having back contractions only? I can't tell if I'm having back pain or contractions. This guess work is driving me nuts!!
Yes! I can't tell if it's contractions or a muscle spasm, but I got them a couple days last week and holy crap! They hurt! It was so bad I was stuck on the couch all day, couldn't walk across the room without nearly throwing up from the pain, and seriously considered just getting a little trash can to pee in so I wouldn't have to walk to the bathroom, lol.

I'm having back contractions too! My midwives said it was probably because LO is "sunny side up" which I was half expecting anyway since that's how I was. It's like a stabbing in your back that radiates to your ears and sometimes even rattles my teeth!
I don't know if this is a third tri symptom or not, but is anyone still dealing with itchy breasts? I've had itchy breasts even before getting pg, and get excema on my hands I'm doing everything I can to not itch and then....I just can't stand it anymore and I itch and break the skin. I've been putting olive oil on my nipples and areole, and sometimes Benadryl cream. I try to let them be exposed to air more often (so when I work from home, I'm sometimes working topless, lol) but I'm really starting to get worried. They are dry and cracked right now bc two days ago I had an itching attack in the middle of the night I'm so worried my allergies are going to keep me from b/f

I've noticed my stomach and breasts are becoming more itchy too. I notice it more when I'm wearing full panel pants or a cami under my shirt. So I'm trying not to wear them when I don't have it. Which means I look super awesome at home.

@TheThornBird@JoMunson this sounds HORRIBLE. Mine feel more like someone is squeezing my lower back and hips harder and harder and then eventually stopping. But I read the spine pain you guys are feeling is definitely contractions.
Im 37 and a half weeks, I'm perfectly fine with LO coming NOW. DH is so anxious. He looked at me when I got home from work and goes, "where's my baby." Still inside dear, still inside.
@mrstmoosePff I've vetoed shirts more often than not lately at home. I just wear a sports bra and pants or shorts. DH has some really soft vintage-y shirts that won't irritate my skin so I've been wearing those in public. My clothes are really done for right now.

@doozer1345 I've totally been wearing DH's shirt (there's a chance I'm wearing one of his sweatshirts that is really soft right now). I'd rather be comfortable. I bought this nightgown to sleep in because it isn't form fitting. I know it's old lady but I really don't care!

I had something similar today. I haven't had much extra discharge thus far, but today after I got dressed my underwear got wet like maybe a few teaspoons of liquid. As I was changing and cleaning myself up I had a slight trickle that was white-ish and a texture between water and semen. Nothing since then but I have read antidotes that the mucus plug could be watery or you can have a tiny AF leak that would not test positive or be a concern.
No bubble feeling tho... I'm 38w6d. Maybe some STM's have advice?!
All the pants in my wardrobe have been fired except for the one pair of jeans that I have to wear to walk the dogs.
Everything else, forget it. Dresses and nightgowns only. I would rather walk the mile and a half to work in heeled sandals than put up with pants. I'm solidly convinced that the pressure from the stretch band causes my abdomen to cramp, and not in any helpful way.

@ncm0328 you are not alone... I'm pretty much all of the above as well... At 35 weeks. What on earth are the bubbles about? They are the oddest thing. I also have an appt tomorrow and will be bringing it up.
@vinerieUgh, this has been my pregnancy hell. I have suffered from heat rash on my breasts pretty much my entire pregnancy. Even the pelvic pain doesn't hold a candle to how much torture this has been. Early on, I started using caladryl or neosporin to help, but my OB told me that I should not put anything on it because it's all likely to make it worse. He was right. I struggled through and had another bad wave of it a couple of weeks ago, and was looking anywhere for relief, started rubbing stuff on it, and it got worse. It took 4-5 days of cold turkey quitting to get it to calm down a little bit which was terrible. The best thing I've found is using a lunch bag icepack when they get so itchy I can't stand it. That tends to help offer some temporary relief. I'm also experimenting with not using a dryer sheet. I quit using my body wash and only use soap, and I also bought the least smelly/fragrant shaving cream to shave my underarms since I noticed the smelly color shaving cream burned like heck.

Thanks for some of the tips. I was also told to avoid putting anything on it. I have a steroid cream that I put on the excema on my fingers that works like magic, but doc said no on the breasts. I have found that olive oil (suggestion from b/f class teacher) works well in combination with letting them be exposed to air. But I'll "rehab" them, get them soft and try not to itch and then...BAM. I just itch, break the skin around the nipple and am back to square one as the itching seems to bring on more itching.
I may have to try no dryer sheets. that hadn't occurred to me. I also haven't tried ice packs.

@charla1224 I don't blame you. That sounds miserable. I hope you get some answers soon.
