I took a whole two hour nap before life altering heartburn set in. Also I got all the laundry done and it's very safe in the hampers over there across the room.
Here's my brag: I was in a breakfast business meeting yesterday. I started to have a coughing fit (allergies/pregnancy rhinitis getting to me big time) so I excused myself to restroom, thinking I could just blow my nose and calm down. Yup... threw up three times, went right back to the meeting like nothing happened. My pregnancy superpower is stealth puking and the ability to act like nothing happened afterward. (Sidebar--Is third trimester morning sickness a thing??)

@heathersaysso, my office went out for Indian food for lunch today and it was absolutely delicious and well worth the horrendous heartburn I'm going through right now.
So far heartburn hasn't been as bad as some of you ladies but the puking has made a reappearance. I've done more throwing up in work bathrooms lately than I did in my early 20's when I partied all the time. And then, yeah, back to work because this mama needs her sick leave for after the baby comes! My desk has been restocked with ginger ale and breath mints because who knows what my body will decide to take a disliking to today?
Ummm not sure if this fits but is definitely a brag- I booked a 60 minute massage with my regular girl and had a pass for a free extra 30 minutes (from past visits). The massage was at 1, it got done at 3. So I paid $60 for a two hour long massage. She is the BEST.
I know the location of all of the trash cans and plant pots between my work office and my car where I could throw up if needed. I haven't used one for that purpose yet. Go me!

I want to go to there! I'm thinking Mothers' Day is coming and this mamma needs a massage!
There is no wrong way to brag. In the third trimester, anything you accomplish from killing a full quart of ice cream in one go to putting on pants to not murdering a coworker is a bragging right.
At the risk of being kicked off the board--i haven't had a single day of nausea and almost no heartburn the entire pregnancy. BUT, my emotions are ridiculous. Not crying, i can't seem to do that other than when i'm just SO frustrated but the problem is...i feel angry and/or frustrated MOST of the time. Pre-pregnancy i wasn't real big on patience but geez...i have negative number patience now and i get even more angry that i'm angry and frustrated... It's really frustrating, lol. Hubby is learning but hasn't quite mastered the art of just staying quiet sometimes. So, in that light, i'd like to brag that i go to work every day and somehow don't get fired!!
@StayingFocused Honestly, as sick as I have been during this pregnancy, I think I'd take that over not being able to control my emotions. It's a lot easier for people to feel sympathetic with the nauseated/heartburned/puking pregnant woman than with the one who is emotional, even though both have exactly the same level of control over what they're going through. They don't make Zantac for inexplicable rage! I feel for you.
I put on my socks today. All by myself. With only a few grunts and swear words. And it only took me 3 minutes. Super woman right here. Edited for spelling.

My brag is I am 32 weeks and only have gained 7 lbs so far thanks to morning sickness.
BOX
Nope. Wait. There is definitely a wrong way to brag.
I think (hope?) she's being sarcastic. My best friend had HG (hospitalized and a PICC line w IV her whole pregnancy) and she would say shit like this to try to make light of an awful situation. Looking on the bright side?
My brag is that I'm still working as a therapist in an acute hospital. I'm on my feet all day lifting, squating an bending. I quit working at 32 weeks with my son but I scheduled myself till 38 weeks this time I hope I make it. At the end of each day I feel like super woman.

My first nursing job was on the acute rehab floor of a hospital. A co-worker of mine worked until she was 38 weeks pregnant with her son, he is now 4 and I am still in awe of her! Even if you stopped tomorrow I would still think you were superwoman!!

I feel ya! I work as a nurse in surgical intensive care. We have no tech's and we lift/pull/roll "dead" weight all day- patients being ventilated and sedated. My schedule had me working through my due date until last week when I decided I could afford to just not work one extra week (none of my time will be paid unfortunately).. And now my last day is May26th at almost 39 weeks! Yay!!! So excited to have the summer off with my little girl and my mom will be here from Oregon for almost six weeks in the beginning.
@RNMegan0711 you really get it then!! I deal with patients like that daily but I do have a tech to assist me if needed. Just in hopes all this physical activity will keep us in good shape for labor.
My brag is: I bowled an entire game last night and still bowled within a handful of pins of my pre-baby average. 31 weeks pregnant and I have only gained 5 lbs and baby is measuring huge. She was just shy of 4 lbs when I was 28 weeks.

I'm a nurse in a very fast paced, few breaks 14+hrs/day clinic and I plan on working until 2 days before my due date! Not bragging, just beginning to think I'm delusional. Even my OB said my BH at work are probably a sign it's time to slow down, but I'm only 30 +3.
I have kept up on dishes and meal prep all week, and I've logged into worke for at least two hours every night after the kids went to bed. When my energy level is down these are the first things that slip, so I'm taking it as a win for the week

Holy hell! 2 days before??? I'm a school nurse and I'm stopping at 37+6! I guess I'm an underachiever!

You guys are crazy like a fox. I work from home as a contractor but I do two-three days a week as a floor supervisor at a small diner. They asked me how long I wanted to work and I said "Until my water breaks" which I think they took literally. Unfortunately I'm 32+6 and between the kicks to the ribs and the NON-FUCKING-STOP BH, I'll be lucky to get another two weeks in and believe me when I say I'm counting the days. You two are total rockstars to be able to keep going that long, I'm jelly as hell.
I'm planning on working until I go in to labor. I have a fairly easy job with lots of sitting and I am cutting back my clients (for ethical reasons) but plan on showing up until baby comes. We have a doctor and nurse on staff most days I am there, lots of seasoned mommas, and my work is a hop, skip, and jump from the hospital. So wouldnt be too bad if I started labor there. I want to get in as much client contact and work before I have to go sans paycheck for 4-6 weeks.

I really missed the point of bragging. Although having a toddler is pretty sweet.
Oh okay! How about this? This pregnancy I haven't gotten real bad heartburn. I blame my GD diet. Ahhhhh yeah. Xoxo

Hoping you're joking here.
Sometimes, people who start off heavy to begin with don't gain that much weight anyway.
