@jschlaud That's wonderful news! I have three shots left, one of them today. In the last couple weeks, I'm noticing a day or two before my next shot, I have more pressure/cramps/contractions. Did you notice that at all with your last shots, because this is definitely new for me. I'm so excited for you to make it to 37 weeks! I bet walking out of a hospital with your baby will feel incredible.
@alitria Thanks! I'm so happy to have made it this far! I didn't notice a change in pressure or contractions in the day or 2 before my next shot, but I have been having contractions basically every day for the past couple of weeks - nothing regular though so I guess it's BH.
A coworker I don't know well was talking with me this morning and asked how old I was. I told her I was going to be 39 in July. She thought I was about 30. I love her. Considering I felt like I looked 109 when I left the house this morning with my puffy face and red splotches that have appeared and out of control roots and the fact that I am currently allergic to most of my make-up and have therefore been wearing hardly any for the past five months, that was pretty much the equivalent of telling me I look like a dewy faced teenager.
I went to the chiropractor yesterday and going again tomorrow morning. First time ever getting adjusted. Holy crap it sounds scary (all the cracking) but feels wonderful! I'm hoping it helps with the lower right back pain I've had for 2 weeks now.
I got tired of feeling like Shrek and his magical friends would be comfortable living in the swamp that is my downtown so I just awkwardly groomed the area using my husband's $200 body hair trimmer and a mirror. No regrets. NO. REGRETS.
I shaved my legs!!!!!!!!!!! I was motivated to do it cause dh surprised me by saying he's gonna take us to get pedicures tonight and have a date night!!!
Not pregnancy related, but our house renovations are finally done as of today after 7 long months, having to fire a terrible contractor, hiring a new contractor, being in and out of hotels, having to re-do painting and windows because of bad workmanship, etc.
we finally have our house back! The twins room is actually painted and has some furniture in it. And The cribs arent assembled yet but they are here! Woohoo!
My brag: I somehow have been lucky enough to have never gotten sick. I'm 37 weeks and counting and no morning sickness, no getting sick on food, nothing. Although I had a pretty rough start to pregnancy with a broken ankle and surgery my first trimester, which was absolutely horrible by the way, other than that I have been totally blessed and lucky. I'm very active with horses and have somehow sustained being able to feed and help keep taking care, and instructing, even though I've only been able to walk since Christmas, per ankle. Of course there's been no riding, but I'm really lucky and pretty proud of myself that I can actually still climb through a fence! My back pain, arteries in my thighs and my crazy emotions, have more than certainly had their times, but I have felt great. Now labor and delivery will probably be hell but for now I'm totally pleased and super lucky. I feel for all you sick, aching moms. It cannot be easy but you guys seem tough. You should brag about that.
I guess it's a brag but it's also a "that's kinda weird" type of thing:
I've only shaved my legs 2 or 3 times during the whole pregnancy...because my leg hair just isn't really growing. Seriously, I'm usually an every-other-day leg shaver but every time I check, nothing's there.
I heard the old wives tale (take it for what it's worth) that if you're having a boy, your hair will grow faster...but that's not what I'm seeing and I'm having a boy.

Strange things are afoot!
This holds true for me as well for my legs! I've had to shave a bit more than that, but it seems like certain areas are growing faster and certain areas have slowed way down. (Or maybe I DGAF so I am ignoring my hairy legs because I can't see them very well now...always a possibility.)

Mine is growing slower too, which is weird because with my other two it grew a lot faster
I shaved my legs in the shower this morning. Not just part of them, either...full leg! I needed to sit down immediately after, but I did it, damnit.
Being pregnant during the winter months certainly has its advantages. The hot weather doesn't go well with pregnancy...I'm ready to get off this ride now. Kthanks.
Meeting my partner's elderly relatives for the first time, I was very proud of myself not to have burped, farted or scratch my boobs and armpits like a monkey. When we left, I did not realise they were waving at us from their balcony while I had a good scratching session with my boobs. Oops!
Not sure whose box I'm stuck in... I went to a wedding tonight for 4 hours before calling it quits and going home. I think I look damn good!
Lookin good!! 4 hours is a lot!! Kudos to your feet!! Ive got slippers on at work today bc my kankles are so big. On a plus side, my brag today is im getting thai food for dinner. I was also able to paint 8 out of 10 toenails before i gabe up out of exhaustion. Left foot is on point. Right foot looks like stevie wonder helped out

My shoes were off all day at work before this and I left hubby to fend for himself by 8. I also haven't bothered painting my own toenails in awhile, so kudos to you. I still have the same toenail polish on from my last pedicure over 1 1/2 months ago. It might be time for another one.

I'm 37 weeks today and have continued to shave my legs everyday (just like I did pre-pregnancy). Hurray for non-hairy legs! My lady bits are a different story though...hahaha.
I shaved my legs last night. Not sure it was worth it but it's going to be hot and I wanted to wear a knee length dress to work so I felt obligated. At least it's done.
The other day, I shaved my legs...by myself...really hoping I don't have to do it again before baby gets here. Well...I mean I don't HAVE to, I don't really care what anyone else thinks, but I prefer smooth legs lol
And last night...H and I did the deed. It had been well over a month (poor guy) and I finally felt like it. I was kinda hoping it would cause some contractions of something...but nope.
My husband is out of town for work so I'm solo parenting our toddler. I fed her MULTIPLE vegetables yesterday to supplement her two meals of mac and cheese.
I missed a feeding when I was getting my car worked on. I am also using one side at a time for feeding. But anyway, I thought I was going to die but pumped 10oz on Right side. Definitely reinforced the symbiotic relationship of breastfeeding and I am not in a hurry to repeat the experience. But a personal best.
I went and saw Bad Moms today. It worked out perfect I nursed LO and she slept the whole time I was gone( we live 3 min from the theater). My mom met me there and snuck me in a cocktail in her purse she is so awesome!! Best Sunday ever the movie was hilarious.

I can't wait to see this!
Omg same, I'm thinking about going on FB and getting all my mom friends together for a Bad Mommies night out.
