I love when I find great deals like this! My town does 2 garage sale Saturdays a year. One is in May and one in October. The local paper prints a map and everything. I always score a ton of stuff on those days. Kids grow so fast that you can get stuff in really good shape for next to nothing.

Anyone tried to join the FB group yet via the emailed link? I tried this morning but it kept giving me a message saying the person I was trying to invite had already been added to the group.... I just tried again and same thing.

I'm not trying to invite anyone and the group isn't visible to me yet. I've never been part of a completely private group before so I'm not 100% sure how they work, lol. I'm assuming maybe the link sends an add request to either @fishwife799 or @nicknshanvia FB and then they accept it and THEN we're added and the group is visible but I just want to make sure I'm not doing something stupid.

I'm having the same problem. I'm in a few secret groups and typically you get a FB notification that you were invited and I didn't get one this time, just an email.
Typically they send you an invite, and then you accept, and then you are in the group--you can either search for the group then or look in your list of groups.

PM her your email and then you'll get an email invite from her FB account and I just added her from there.

Hopefully this is the right way to get added to the group... if not, I won't be offended if you deny my friend request @nicknshanand direct me to the light! I am 24 years old. I should know how to work the Facebook by now.
