So...this is the first time my fingers have swollen due to preg. Before it got too bad, I left one of my rings on and bought a fake to replace the other (they were different sizes) is it obvious that one cost less than $10?

@crdo I HATE when people get bent out of shape at RESPONSIBLE dog owners who are picking up after their pets! Before our beloved beagle passed away, this happened to me and my H a few times, and it always made me livid. If they wanna be mad at someone, they should redirect their anger towards the TONS of people who let their dogs crap all over the place and never pick it up! Grrrr...I feel for you SO much. Hence all the instances of all-caps. Sorry. I just get really fired up. I'm on your side!!!

Sadly, as other PP's have said, black dogs DO get overlooked and shelter workers say they are often left behind in favor of lighter colored dogs. I heard someone say it's because there's not as much contrast in their faces--black fur/black nose/dark eyes don't let the facial features stand out as much as with animals who have lighter colored fur/faces. This is NOT my opinion, of course. I had two wonderful black dogs growig up--one named Brutus and one named Skip. They were fantastic family dogs. Some shelters even have special adoption days where black dogs have reduced adoption fees. I think I've even seen "adopt a black dog" month or something...anyway...yeah, sadly, it's a thing.

My friend who is 8 weeks ahead of me just text me that her water broke last night and she's in the hospital. I'm so excited for her! 

And also now panicking because that's me in 8 weeks. I know we all say this a lot but how in the actual hell is April already half way over!?!

Complete random of the day...I'm IN LOVE with a kid's recycle group I'm on in my neighborhood.  I just scored 3 adorable dresses, 1 sweater, 1 too cute for words shirt, 1 pair of pants and 2 PJs in the 12-18 month range AS WELL AS a pair of snowpants in 18 month size that is brand new for $13 total!!!

My coworker gave birth at 4:58am yesterday. She was exactly 7weeks ahead of me. Delivered at 37.5wks a healthy baby girl weighing 7lbs6oz. Helpful rando coworker looked at me over the baby pictures and said:"you're next!" like I was in an M Night Shyamalan movie.....Nope. Working from home today!

Yup!! And people are all up in arms because she needs to cancel a few dates of her tour (not sure if its the whole tour). I'm sure if thats the case, she will refund ticket sales. Hopefully....
