Love this GTKY @mrsdaddario!! So I personally have not but I am really open to one and would love to. H and I went to Gsttysburg a few years back and I booked a B and B that has the reputation of being haunted. I got the room with the most activity too. Other guests were coming up to us saying they had tried to get our room first! Anyway I saw/felt nothing but my H said he felt a presence and a weight sitting on the edge of the bed one evening after I'd fallen asleep. He's had a few experiences over the years.

R/R/CS: I don't WANNA go to work today! I genuinely like my job but it's just one of those Mondays where I don't feel like getting dressed and being a grown-up all day. Plus I'll be distracted waiting for my doctors appt all day.

GTKY: Have you ever had a paranormal/supernatural/other worldly experience? Honestly not really. But I have had many instances of my instincts proving exactly right, some crazy deja vu's or vivid memories of things happen when I was very young that my mom seems shocked that I'd remember in so much detail.

I haven't but apparently my sister has. If I've ever found myself feeling spooked I literally have a conversation in my mind telling any potential spookies to leave me alone. I would freak out if that ever happened.

R/R/CS: DH has his SA this morning and he is being so good about going. I know he's been dreading it but he's been making jokes about it to make it all seem ok. I know his biggest fear with the SA is not actually providing the specimen (he obviously thinks it's awkward) but getting the results and having something wrong. I hope it all goes well today for him. For those of you that saw the FFFC a few weeks ago, I get a 'period present' each month I get my period. So I told him he could have a 'beating your meat present' for getting th SA so I'm picking out a bunch of Under Armour golf gear that he's been wanting. He's pretty happy about his presents and that seems to be taking husbm

GTKY: Have you ever had a paranormal/supernatural/other worldly experience? Our sorority house in College was supposedly haunted. A lot of creepy things happened to others, but the only thing that happened to me was the water faucet turned on at the sink next to the one I was using in the bathroom on time late at night. When I went to go turn it off, the faucet turned off on its own. The house was featured in a lot of books and news stories around Halloween each year.

R/R/CS: So yesterday I had a positive clear blue advanced digital OPK. Which is nonsense. I have 0 other signs of O. It was the first time I used this pack and I was just STARTING to test yesterday. I knew it was wrong so I used a dollar store cheapie with the same urine and it was practically stark white. I'm so annoyed because once it's positive it's stuck with the solid smiley for 48 hours and you can't use it again. I'm also annoyed in general because today is usually the day I start to get some signs of O approaching and as of yet they're non-existent. That's the end of my pitty party for the day. On the bright side I have the day off and I'm going to look at wedding dresses for my SIL! So that's exciting.

GTKY: Have you ever had a paranormal/supernatural/other worldly experience?
I actually have once and it really freaked me out. My cousin used to live in a house she swore was haunted. She was so scared by things she saw or heard at times that she wouldn't even go home unless other people were there. At one point there were a bunch of us there talking about it and the experiences she had. While this conversation was happening the light we had on turned off, and not only did it go off, but the switch had been flipped to make it happen. It was strange. I didn't see or hear anything myself. But that was enough for me. I've always done something similar to @babymish where I literally say things like "please don't bother me" because I feel like if I had a real encounter I wouldn't be able to handle it!

R/R/CS: leaving for a work business trip today until Wednesday - I haven't packed yet. Must remember my bbt...must remember bbt. Lol I figure if I say it over and over I won't forget it.

GTKY: Have you ever had a paranormal/supernatural/other worldly experience? Yes- I bartend two nights a week for XTRA money and the building is historic - per a medium that ate there, she felt a strong presence. So she came one morning to do a "reading" of the building and concluded that there is a ghost of a 17 year old boy name Elijah that died back in the 1700's ar the mill that was on the site. We have had many unexplainable instances occur while there - candles lighting on their own, hundreds of pizza boxes flying off the shelves that were caught on camera (hard to explain and until I saw that myself I didn't believe in it).

@babymish I agree, growing up I did that a lot, especially after some old relative passed away. "Please don't come see me once you're gone!" Spooky.

@beary67 Sorry for CD 1! DH has his SA on Wednesday. He gets to do it at home because we live so far from the clinic, and I'm literally transporting it (awkward). But he's not so much worried about the results, which is good I suppose. But I'm worried he'll not be able to perform into the cup LOL. The anxiety of having to do it on demand, I'm really hoping it stays at bay. Keeping my FX that things come out well for him (literally!) Edit: For him I mean I'm keeping my FX things come out well (literally) for your DH! And I suppose mine too lol.

@Marley629 Whenever I need to remember something I always have to set a reminder in my phone because I am literally the WORST when it comes to remembering things! Also, wicked creepy about your job!!

R/R/CS: Not much to say today. DH has is SA on Wednesday so we can't BD at all for two days prior. I told him last night it was his last chance to HIO before a two day hold, so speak now or forever hold your peace lol. He spoke now!

GTKY: Have you ever had a paranormal/supernatural/other worldly experience?
I have had a number of weird experiences. What's odd is both of my parents and I, not my sister though, have this weird like....sensitivity to things and crazy intuition. The house my dad grew up in, that he now lives in, just gives me the heebs. I lived there for a period of time when I was in my early 20's and I always had a really uncomfortable feeling. What's weird is no one ever died in the house. His parents had it built. I'm guessing perhaps something with the property it was built on. Two examples. When my sister and I were in our teens we were in the kitchen of the house, it was a summer day and the heavy front door was wide open, screen door closed. We we bickering about who knows what, and she called me a bitch. The door literally slammed shut and was locked when we went downstairs to see what happened. Totally freaked us out! In another instance my Dad and Grandmother we in the house (this was right after my Grandfather had passed). It's a ranch style house so the majority of the living space is upstairs, but there is a finished basement. At the time it was just used for storage, but there was/is a fireplace down there. They were upstairs but my dad kept smelling fire, so he looked all over the house. When he went into the basement there was a full fire going in the fireplace....neither of them had started it.

Have an ongoing problem in my shoulder with knots and pinched nerves so finally gave up on massage and went to a sports therapist. The kind that beat you up basically. That was one of the most painful hours in my life and I'm bruised and sore today but can actually already notice a difference in range of movement and I slept better. She told me it will feel worse for a few days but will hopefully then begin to feel better.

GTKY: Have you ever had a paranormal/supernatural/other worldly experience?
Not really in the sense you're talking about by weird things I knew/sensed that I shouldn't have.
When I was 11 or so my parents couldn't afford a vacation so we did great America (six flags) for 2 days. My great grandmother died the night before we were going on the first day and they decided not to tell us until after the 2 days so we could enjoy before we had to go to the funeral in a different state. She wasn't sick or anything. After the first day, I woke up at night and walked into my dads room and asked what was wrong with my great grandma? There's no reason I should have been asking and I couldn't even explain why I was asking.

Eta. Tw for suicide
Second one was similar, my old roommate (best friends with my ex) had a sister that hung around and we were friends with her. When my ex and I split after 4 years, I lost touch with all of that side. 2 years after I spoke with anyone from that side, I called my ex (drunk) in hysterics asking about this girl that I just had an awful feeling something was terribly wrong with her. Turns out she was in rehab for heroin and other drug problems and shortly after committed suicide by overdose. I still wish I had reached out to her instead of my douchebag ex.

Supernatural yes....I am a christian and its a huge part of my life. Ive had many encounters with God....or weird things that "coincidently" happen or work together which i chalk up to being God.

Also, im a nurse....and ive seen some weird things as people are approaching the end of life or during death. Things such as i find people will point at a corner in the ceiling or somewhere in the room like theres something there before they pass away...or people will see lost family members and stuff like that.

R/R/CS: I skipped two days of temping because it was giving me the same damn temp and I thought I'd just rely on opks and do something different this month. Cue panic because opks are being stupid too lol. Temped this morning and it gave me a different temp so yay! Just going with Ed or eod this week because everything had been wonky haha

GTKY: Have you ever had a paranormal/supernatural/other worldly experience? No. Unless having dreams about people who have passed Away counts I just find it comforting and as a good sign they are checking in ☺️ But they happen rarely.

@sarah0985 Ouch, sorry you're hurting. I had some issues with my back last summer and had to go to a sports therapist as well. He basically beat me up twice a week for three weeks, but it totally worked. Hope you get some relief soon!

R/R/CS: Just sick of so much waiting... Waiting for AF to finish... Waiting for O... Waiting during the TWW. This long-ish cycle thing really gets old.

GTKY: I am such a cynic so don't really believe that paranormal/supernatural stuff really happens. But at the same time, I will watch those shows about people and places that are haunted- I think it's the history and stories about the past that really interest me more than the actual hauntings. It's such a cool concept to me that stuff like that may exist, but I just can't believe without the proof!
Although if something happened like for @Marley629 and it was on camera, that would be hard to explain away with logic. And the fire @mrsdaddario - that is super creepy and scary!

@AliciaGoose the reason you got the positive on cd 15 is you need to start those early on because it takes a baseline. If you start late you'll get a solid smiley right away/soon after. (At least that's my experience with the advanced ones with the flashy then solid smileys). Lost a whole month that way in the beginning of TTC! Good luck!

@leekat14 i hate months of missing window because of being sick - so infuriating! Hopefully you got a good chance in!

@marley629 put an alarm in your phone now for right when you know you'll be ready to leave!!! Then you won't forget!!

@sarah0985 It will be totally worth it! I couldn't even bend down to tie my own shoes for a month. I tried everything before going to the therapist. Massage, chiropractor, everything. My doctor wanted to put me on muscle relaxers. I was really against it because it wasn't really fixing the problem, just covering up the pain. After the first visit with the therapist, I started seeing improvement! Keep at it, and make sure that you do any of the exercises/stretches that he/she gives you for homework!

R/R/CS: The other day my friend announced her 3rd BFP on FB, when I commented to say "Congrats Lady!" she replied something like "isn't it about time you jumped on the baby bandwagon" I literally wanted to punch her in the F'N throat. No one wants you to reply with I have been trying for OVER A YEAR AND STILL AM NOT PREGNANT THANK YOU FOR THE REMINDER. But I am seriously SERIOUSLY close to saying it.

GTKY: I would say yes. At 16 I got into a horrible car accident with my best friend on our way home @ Christmas break. Our car flipped three times and landed upside-down up against a barrier on the highway. The windshield shattered & we had to be cut out of the car. While we waited for the ambulance I VERY CLEARLY remember a lady in all white hugging us telling us that the angels had been watching over us that day. No one else remembers her being there & when the ambulance arrived she was gone.

Funny story though: I saw the first Paranormal Activity in theaters really late at night, and then came home and went right to bed. When I was half asleep, I turned on my side and I heard a huge bang. Freaked me right out. I was too terrified to open my eyes because I thought for sure something was in my bedroom. staring at me. Then I realized I left hangers on my bed before I left, and the loud crash was them falling to the floor.

GTKY: Have you ever had a paranormal/supernatural/other worldly experience? Yes I have! I'm a very strong believer in ghosts, even though I didn't used to be. I've had a few poltergeist-type experiences, but for me nothing was freakier than watching a latched door unlock, the doorknob turn, and the door open, even though I was the only person on the floor (literally - I was opening up the building for the school year as an RA). Our last apartment was also haunted, and the damn sink would constantly turn on when we weren't in the kitchen.

My partner is also at like an 85% success rate with tarot predictions for people, but I think that's just because he's good at cold readings. It is weird, though, because certain cards do tend to show up at a much higher frequency for some people.

I could ramble about this stuff for hours; I find it super interesting!

Watery as in, not cryey, but totally freaked out. It's amazing and scary all in one! But I am SO GLAD you are here with us today. R/R/CS: Having a long cycle really makes this a tough wait. I mean, I know AF is about 5-6 days, and my LP is 14 days, but I don't have a "regular" O date. It varies so much and this waiting game is starting to make me BSC!! /rant

GTKY: I don't really believe in that sort of stuff. I did however do a ghost tour/pub crawl for my bachelorette party. It was interesting, but nothing happened aside from me drinking too much. Haha!

R/R/CS: The further that I get into the journey of waiting to ovulate, makes me have more appreciation for the fact that my grandmother had 8 kids in 9.5 years. That's insane, but awesome!
Not TTC related: Accidentally set my morning alarm for pm... So I woke up 40 mins after it and just happened to check my phone. Now my brain barely feels awake at work.

GTKY: I have to say that I don't believe in this stuff and have never experienced it to change my mind.

R/R/CS: Rant: allergies! Ugh, I've already had one bout with them this season and last night started feeling cruddy again and worse this morning. I don't have time for you, allergies, just go away!

Rave: the new house is coming together!! Saturday I got my kitchen put together so my in-laws could come over for lunch Sunday (first big meal in the new house!). My FIL put my barstools together while waiting for lunch to be ready. Then after lunch everybody helped put the living room together (just moved some furniture around). Still need to finish painting a little bit and unpack a LOT but it's coming along.

R/R/CS: Temps are still funny -- still zig zagging between 97.5X and 97.7X since CD11, with this morning's temp being back down to 97.52. When I put higher temps for the next few days, FF gives me O day as CD14. Whoooo knows.

WAYDTGKU: pnv bbt opk just started acupuncture

R/R/CS: so I had my first acupuncture appt on Saturday. It was pretty relaxing and fertility is 75% of this company's business, and when I talked to him he seemed to ask so many more questions than I've ever been asked by a dr and have so much more familiarity with people who had my exact same issue. He wants to see me every week for the next 6 weeks and twice a month after that. The way he explained it is acupuncture takes time to affect the eggs that are in the pipeline to being selected to being ovulated.

GTKY: Have you ever had a paranormal/supernatural/other worldly experience? No personal experiences. I had an ex-BF who saw a UFO though. And my mother had a reading with a psychic friend who made a totally true prediction.

R/R/CS: DH is sick. He thinks he's dying. I think it's a cold. Man-flu. Ugh.

GTKY: Have you ever had a paranormal/supernatural/other worldly experience? I typically don't believe in that stuff, but crazy story. When I was in highschool we lived in a house with crazy stuff all the time. The lights would switch on and off, the cabinets would be all open when we woke up, scariest of all, the oven and sometimes even the burners would turn on. We had to unplug it every night because it was gas. One night my little sister and brother and I decided to have a movie marathon and sleep in the living room so we drug out our mattresses and made a huge bed in the floor. My mothers door to her bedroom was directly to the right of the tv and the hall to the bathrooms and our bedrooms were directly to the left. Well we finally turned off the tv and fell asleep. At some point I woke up because I heard the floor creaking, I didn't have my glasses/contacts, so I just saw the shadow of my mother walking down the hall toward our bedrooms/bathroom. I saw her then walk back to her bedroom. I fell back asleep and woke up when I heard a huge bang. But I assumed it was in my dream because no one else woke up. So when mom woke us up in the morning, I saw my hair straightener laying in front of her door and a huge part of the door was broken like someone had thrown the straightener (or a sledge hammer!) at it. Mom said she didn't, but it explained the big bang I heard.

ETA ***NBR question*** Does anyone (or your significant other) do hot yoga while you are TTC? My H wants to start doing yoga together, but start with hot yoga, and I'm hesitant. I am leaning toward if we do it, I will stop in the TWW and only start again after CD1.

I'm convinced a woman who showed up randomly at my church (with very relevant professional history and spot-on timing) was an angel who was in my life to help me do something specific and important, and when it was done she was gone. She said her job got transferred to Oklahoma and I got a letter from her once awhile later but I haven't heard from her or been able to find her on social media since.

WAYDTGKU: Letrozole + Ovidrel shot, Metformin, HIO

R/R/CS: Tomorrow I go in for my ultrasound to see how I've responded to the Letrozole. Doc will also tell me when (and how, I hope) I'm supposed to take the Ovidrel shot. I'm a bit nervous he'll say I haven't responded to the Letrozole at all.

GTKY: Have you ever had a paranormal/supernatural/other worldly experience? Not really. I'm ambivalent about whether or not ghosts even exist.

R/R/CS: That moment where you're in the bathroom first thing in the morning and realize you're just peeing straight into the toilet and completely forgot about OPK... aghhhh. Then forgot again with SMU. TMU (that's not a thing!) looked really negative. Stupid me.

GTKY: Have you ever had a paranormal/supernatural/other worldly experience? When I was a kid, I swear our laundry room was haunted because every day at around 4PM, I would hear a single strike of cymbals from there. It eventually stopped when I was like 10 or so, but it happened daily for about 5 years and I never figured it out. I don't know if that's truly "paranormal" but we did not have cymbals in our house or anything that made a sound like cymbals so it was really confusing and scary to me.
