@Melissam090 good luck with your U/S. Keep us updated!
@beary67 Sorry about CD1. :-( Also, I like that you bribed your H with a present for the SA.
@lecool I totally agree about being fine without any supernatural experiences--I am such a sissy when it comes to stuff like that. I can't even watch scary movies. In fact, I'm a little scared to read everyone's GTKY responses, lol.
@redbreast35 I, too, am sick of all the waiting...I feel like I am waiting my life away and all for (so far) nothing!
@thefarmerswife0411 UGH, your friend's response--I feel like people who so easily get KU seriously have NO understanding of what it's like to go months without seeing a BFP. I'm sure I have been insensitive to this in the past, but I will never, ever make comments to anyone now. Also, your GTKY response gave me goosebumps! I'm sorry you had such a terrible accident.
@steelerfan3878 I'm sorry your O date is so unpredictable--this process is already hard enough!!
@becbec28 Yay for your house coming together!! Your post is making me excited about us possibly buying a new house.
@megzb510 Thanks for sharing about your acupuncture appointment...you guys are seriously making me consider trying it which is something I never thought I'd say!
@teamginger13 I am seriously starting to consider acupuncture, too. I never even thought about it until coming on here and it seems like everyone loves it.
@20T sorry about CD1. CD1 should never be allowed to come on a Monday...Mondays are bad enough on their own.
@sammajane19 FX your u/s tomorrow shows good things!
Good Morning everyone! Hope you have a great Monday!

WAYDTGKU: Temping and sex. Forgot my PNV at home
R/R/CS: My temp went way up this morning and I am praying that it was because our hotel room was hot last night. I feel like it is too early for O to happen. Usually it happens around CD14-16. Our timing would be horrible if yesterday was O.
WAYDTGKU: Forgetting to temp... I got up at 345 yesterday. Not my normal time, but I was going to temp anyway... Remembered after I left the house at 5. Oops. Totally spaced it this morning, but I didn't get home until super later and slept crappy, so it probably wouldn't have been very reliable anyway. FF is predicting O on Sunday, so hopefully I can get good temps the rest of the week.
R/R/CS: All weekend my hands have been really sensitive and achy. I just about googled it as an early pregnancy symptom until I realized that I HAVEN'T EVEN O'ED YED! Really, self?? My hopes are down with this cycle because DH's schedule and my mom visiting will make it tricky even getting once or twice in during my FW and the BSC has started already? Not a good sign. I'm blaming it on lack of sleep and coffee. Also, DH is gone for training until Friday and I'm already missing him. I'm usually not the one to have all the feelings when we are apart - he is. But for whatever reason, this morning I'm all like...
Could also be because of the lack of sleep. And coffee. I'm blaming that again.
GTKY: Have you ever had a paranormal/supernatural/other worldly experience? I've got a pretty boring answer too @juliebeannn : Nope! haha It's fun reading everyone else's answers though.

@virginiaham one of my yoga instructors recommended NOT doing hot yoga if TTC based on literature she has read. She said a lot of what she has read recommended more gentle and restorative yoga, etc. However, she said that since I was doing hot classes, it would likely be ok for me to continue with doing warm classes (not hot) while TTC since my body is used to the warmer temperature. She said sometimes hot can be too hard on the body. I'm not sure if all studios offer hot AND warm classes, so it might be something to look into. @antoto is a yoga instructor, so she may have more insight too.
I did pick up a book a few months back that discouraged certain poses while on your period and recommended certain poses for before and after your period. I believe I sent it to another Bumpie once so I can try to find that information if you are interested.

GTKY: Have you ever had a paranormal/supernatural/other worldly experience? Nope. When I was really young I had night terrors and it made me think I saw scary creatures but it wasn't real For like a year straight I thought there was a skeleton outside my window. Or I remember hearing something and looking down at my floor and seeing some small humanoid type creature scurry under my bed. Night terrors are the worst.
@beary67 thanks!! I have found several articles that quote literature but don't link it. I think I'll stay away and find a regular yoga class for us. If you happen to find the info on poses, I'd love to see it but don't feel like you have to go hunt it down!

@mrsdaddario; sigh, agree & that’s what DH normally says to me,
people don’t know they’re being rude they don’t know we’re trying bla bla. I’m
over my 1 year mark so I’m just sensitive about it & annoyed. Once of these
days it’s gonna slip out of my mouth & then I know the person is gonna feel
really bad but oh well. Also- OMG RIGHT, it still freaks me out, but yea
@felix08; totally agree on likely being insensitive in the
past; one of the good things about having a bit of difficulty TTC’ing is it not
only increases our knowledge but helps us raise awareness in our own social
circles about how much more common infertility is than people actually think it
is.

*tw talk of pregnanancy and labor- not mine*
Hey peeps - be aware that at it's inception yoga was male only, and since finally including women there has been a lot of bullshit about women along with it. If you regularly do yoga you can do whatever you want when you're on your period. Anything someone says otherwise I guarantee is misogynistic bullshit. As for heated classes I tend to believe that anything over 105 isn't really beneficial to your body anyways so I would skip Bikram if you're KU. There are plenty of heated classes right around 95-100 (if they don't list the temp on the website call the studio and ask) that will give you the benefit of loosening up muscles and sweating nice and hard without making you feel like you're going to pass out and die. Number ONE rule of yoga is that if something feels not nice then just stop. Sit in Child's pose (Balasana) on your mat and chill. Drink some water. Only do what feels good. If you have a teacher that makes you feel bad for doing that then you need to find a new teacher. And for future reference - you can do any yoga during your first trimester. Many yoga teachers say you shouldn't do yoga in the first trimester because it might "shake the baby loose" or "interfere with implantation" This is bullshit. If you have a yoga teacher who says that RUN. RUN AS FAR AS YOU CAN! For 2nd and 3rd trimester you just want to be careful of your ligaments - don't over stretch passed what you normally do- and don't do anything that just feels weird. Not because it's dangerous, but just because you don't need to. So for deep twists pregnant women are sometimes discouraged from doing these but not because it would harm the baby or mess with your pregnancy, it's just that your ligaments wont like it... so just don't do it.
I teach a very high intensity power yoga class and I don't plan on changing anything about my practice unless my body tells me to. The teacher I took over for taught all the way until she was 30 weeks and she said it really helped prepare her for labor. My best friend is currently 23 weeks pregnant and comes to my class every week. Saying that pregnant women should only do restorative yoga doesn't make any sense to me at all UNLESS you have never, ever done yoga before. If you are pregnant and half way through decide you want to try yoga, then yes you should stick with very low intensity classes. But if you're an avid yogi and you love to regularly attend high intensity classes then keep doing your thang. Just listen to your own body and modify as needed.
@thefarmerswife0411 I think you should respond back to your friend that yeah you're trying and just leave it at that. It totally sucks though having to deal with seeing that. hugs. Oh and holy cow that accident sounds absolutely terrifying, but awesome that you had a guardian angel looking out for ya'll. Just wow!

No prob. My very first yoga class as an adult was a hot class and it actually turned me off of yoga for a while just because it was too hot for me and it made me feel trapped and like a might pass out - but I didn't. As long as you hydrate and don't push yourself into a bad place it's perfectly healthy. If I were you I would choose a studio that offers both hot and regular yoga. Hot yoga is very specific preference - some people LOVE it and some not so much. It took a few years of me getting more into my practice before I could comfortably and eventually even happily practice in the heat. You might love it right off the bat or you might prefer a more standard class.
edited to add: As I mentioned before there is no need to skip yoga while on your TWW. You can't mess up implantation by doing downdog.
@antoto thank you for this info....I have done yoga a few times and I was curious about what was 'good' and not so 'good'. lol. Think I'll stick with the lower impact stuff for now. ;0)

@Babymish I love how you said 'spookies' in your post. It made me laugh!
@AliciaGoose I used the CBAD last cycle and I am done with them. I am going to go with wondfos this cycle and then when I get a close to positive reading, maybe use one of my CBD (not advanced). I had trouble with the CBAD last cycle!

R/R/CS: Another failed cycle. Bummer. It sucks that on top of not being pregnant we have to be in such pain too. Like, really? You need to punish me more, body? On the bright side, my H was talking about getting healthier and maybe doing a SA. We're both pretty healthy but there's always room for improvement, and I'm pretty stoked that he's not only willing to do what needs to be done, but that he's the one that brought it up. I need to make an appointment for my annual, I think I'll ask my doc about doing a SA and how much it would cost since I doubt it will be covered.

R/R/CS: I had a whole dear diary written out. The gist: Eff you, AF. I know you're regular until you're not but three days early? Eff you.
GTKY: Have you ever had a paranormal/supernatural/other worldly experience? I have had experiences throughout my life and my husband is convinced I have a spirit that follows me. I think some people are just more sensitive to energy (or whatever it might be) than others. I could go on and on with personal experiences.
WAYDTGKU: PNVs, temping, staring at ff like it's going to make the days to O go faster.
R/R/CS: I had a ridiculous temp swing over the weekend, 96.1 to 98.1 now my chart looks cray. Thank goodness it was during AF, hopefully it doesn't keep happening.
GTKY: Have you ever had a paranormal/supernatural/other worldly experience?
So many. I may sound dumb, but I am convinced that I must be sensitive to "the other side" or whatever you want to call it. My entire life I have had weird, unexplainable things happen to me. Two examples that stand out. I was at my bff's house watching a movie. Her brother made a sarcastic comment making fun of one of us, and I yelled at him to shut up. Then we heard a thud come from where he was sitting. He started freaking out, yelling at me for throwing something at him. Neither of us had any idea what he was talking about, so we turned on the lights, and in sticking out of the wall next to his head was a screwdriver. None of us even knew there was a screwdriver in the room.
#2: With the same friend, one morning after a sleep over we heard a rattling noise coming from the kitchen. We were supposed to be the only ones home, so we went to investigate. When we got to the kitchen, my keys were bouncing up and down on the counter, like someone was pounding their fist next to it or something. And, EVERY SINGLE cabinet door was open as was the fridge and oven. We screamed and would not go back into the house until her Mom got home.
**Edited bc it was a hot mess. mobile bumping is for the birds.
so AF showed up this weekend @ 9dpo. WTF. I am assuming that I had o date wrong. Sure. Fine. Whatever. Moving on.
Now this cycle I have a bottle of letrozole sitting on my nightstand waiting for cd 3 for me to take it. I really hadn't thought much of it and considered it my safety net because I was for sure going to get KU last cycle. Spoiler alert, I didn't. Now I am having serious concerns about my doctors giving me the Rx (plus 2 refills nonetheless) and basically saying to call when KU. I spoke to a friend of mind who has been through a few cycles of letrozole and had issues with cysts and crazy octomom forming follicles (like 3+) so they stopped it for her.
So, we decided to make the call to an RE. I was just not comfortable with my OBGYNS lack of information and concern over the medicated cycle. We had a bit of runaround between the doctors office and the insurance trying to make sure and RE was covered and I don't technically need a referral (open access insurance I guess) I have an appointment on Wednesday morning (CD4... So if they want me to take the letrozole... I probably still can).
I am at constant war with myself though.... Am I crying wolf? Am I just being impatient? If my OBGYN is prescribing this med to me without supervision, and I right to make the jump to an RE?
oh and side note, because of my shitty AF... I am not even bleeding today. On CD 2. It does this every flipping time. She'll probably show back up tomorrow.
GTKY: Have you ever had a paranormal/supernatural/other worldly experience?
I ate REAL Kobe beef once and it was pretty much an out of body experience.
Reading all the responses today... it's a little spooky around here!
@beary67 So glad your DH is being great about the SA. Mine has a referral and will probably go if this cycle is a no go this time around, but he's totally cool with it too. Makes things so much easier! 'Beating your meat present' made me lol! @felix08 Have fun house shopping! We bought our first one this time last year, and I LOVED looking at houses! It kind of fulfilled my need to be nosy .
@thefarmerswife0411 Nobody would blame you if you DID decide to punch her in the throat.
@MommyForTheFirstTime I sympathize with the DH-Man-Flu. Mine has the EXACT SAME COLD I did last week, but he's a big baby about it. I got up before him this morning and he's all croaky and 'my throat really hurts' so I offered to bring him a drink and he was all petulant and 'no, I don't want one'. Fine, then.
@Lecool I start OPK's next week. Is there a trick to peeing in the Wondfo wrapper or is it really just... aiming for the Wondfo wrapper?
@virginiaham I wouldn't do the hot yoga.. but that's more motivated by the fact that my number one deterrent to exercise is that I hate being hot. So...
@sammajane19 I hear you. My appointment is in a couple of hours. Super nervous over here. No mention of a trigger shot yet though so we'll see.
@linzrunz .....so is it a symptom? The last crazy-symptom I googled was foot cramps and there was all sorts of testimonials to people listing it as an early pregnancy symptom and I almost lost my crap. Then of course I wasn't KU. Gah.
@furbabymom2007 Your whole post made me laugh. I'm sorry for the crappy things happening to you, but you seem to have a great sense of humour. Kobe beef IS like an out-of-body experience.

@kd0202 hello! yes, your temps can fluctuate like that. It's totally normal. Are you using a BBT such as a mabis?
I have a short period (1 day light/medium followed by 2 days light/spotting). What you are describing sounds very light. Having a period for 1 day may be from stopping HBC. I would say if it continues for another month or two (hopefully you are pregnant before then!), you might want to mention it to your doctor. I will let other ladies comment on light/short periods if they have experience.

@furbabymom2007 Definitely smart to not take random fertility drugs from OB who seems super nonchalant about it. But you might want to wait a few ore months before RE? I've heard you're supposed to wait a year if you are under 35 and don't have any diagnosed conditions.

Yeah, I definitely know the rule of thumb, which is why I am conflicted. Then there is the side of me that says "look, OB have you these so he thinks something might be up. Maybe he's at least right in that respect". I didn't go in and request the meds out of the blue. I have done the blood work, DHs SA and ultrasound through my OBGYN. I don't have any sort of official diagnosis Other than "on the low side for TTC but within the general normal range overall" for progesterone, super light/ spotty AF, and then "on the slow side but within normal" for DHs sperm. We are decidedly "C" students when it comes to baby making apparently. We are gonna pass... But it's not going to be pretty.
I just don't know. At this point, I've got the appointment (I guess all the other women near me are super fertile and don't need REs because I got an appointment in 2 days). We've got all the pre-tests done, I might as well have a chat I guess.
WAYDTGKU: Trying to lose a few pounds, taking vitamins.
R/R/CS: I'm stupidly happy to be here, because yay, trying again! ... but I realize after so many months I definitely won't feel that way.
GTKY: Have you ever had a paranormal/supernatural/other worldly experience? No way, and I definitely hope all aliens, ghosts, and other things stay away from me.
WAYDTGKU: PNV, eating healthy, will start OPK around CD11.
R/R/CS: AF is on her way out, just spotting lightly.
GTKY: Have you ever had a paranormal/supernatural/other worldly experience? I use to work in ICU so I've dealt a lot with end of life patients. I remember a young cancer patient who coded, when we were doing CPR, I was giving her meds in the IV. For some reason, I was holding her hand in a way. I think to help the IV flow better or try to feel a pulse at the time. When we brought her back, I felt her squeeze my hand HARD. Maybe it was a reflex, maybe it wasn't. But it felt eerie to me. The family eventually took her off the ventilator and she died that night.
Also, I use to have sleep paralysis a lot. I know there are many different causes for it, but it was sooo scary every time it happened. I was dreaming that something was pushing down on me and I could not move or wake myself up, that I was screaming and no one could hear me. Creepy.
@furbabymom2007 I say keep your appointment, and don't take the meds yet. I'd wait to see what the RE says. When is your appointment scheduled for? I understand why the year rule for seeing an RE is in place, however I have to disagree partly with that. I think it is on a case to case basis. DH and I started TTC in September. By the middle of January I knew something was wrong. Intuition is everything. My gut told me something was not right, and turns out I was correct. PCOS. Granted an OB dx me with that. We have our first RE appointment scheduled on 4/21. That's exactly 7 months (almost to the day!) of trying. If I had waited 5 more months to get an opinion I'd be struggling even more by then! It sounds like you've done almost everything you can to figure out the problem. Have you had an hsg done? That would be the only thing I'd suggest asking to get done with your OB before moving on to the RE. And in my completely unprofessional opinion I think it's odd that an OB would prescribe you anything without wanting to monitor you.

@NurseMarie9 My husband get sleep paralysis sometimes, it sounds like the worst There's a painting by Henry Fuseli that is thought to represent sleep paralysis, my husband thinks it's pretty accurate.

Thank you so much for this. I have not done the HSG. I am assuming the RE will want to do it though. And it totally makes sense . Check the plumbing before jacking everything up wih meds right?? at this point... I may as well let the RE do the flushing. Who knows, maybe it will clear out the cobwebs and do some good.
At the very least I am still wanting to do timed intercourse for a while more before jumping to iui and beyond (insert buzz light year gif here).
Appointment is now Wednesday morning (cd4, because I know cycle days better than dates). DH can't go which sucks but I don't think there is going to be anything groundbreaking discussed at this point yet.
@Lecool@MelissaM090 I love this! Haha, We have a small cabinet in the ladies restroom for women to put their products in. I keep a small stock of Styrofoam cups in there and put my OPK/HPT in the cups. One day a coworker came into my office to gossip about it and I was like, oh, those are mine. Ha. I'm sure she had to know that though, because everyone else in the office is 45+ except me. Sure she knew? I was like duh. Plus she knows we have issues so whatever.

@mrsdaddario; sigh, agree & that’s what DH normally says to me, people don’t know they’re being rude they don’t know we’re trying bla bla. I’m over my 1 year mark so I’m just sensitive about it & annoyed. Once of these days it’s gonna slip out of my mouth & then I know the person is gonna feel really bad but oh well. Also- OMG RIGHT, it still freaks me out, but yea
@kfair001; YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY LADY!!!!!!!!
@MommyForTheFirstTime; OMG FREAKING OUT @ YOUR GTKY!
@lecool; BOOM!
@felix08; totally agree on likely being insensitive in the past; one of the good things about having a bit of difficulty TTC’ing is it not only increases our knowledge but helps us raise awareness in our own social circles about how much more common infertility is than people actually think it is.
@mrsdee15; AHS season one is THE BESTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT, TAAAAAAAAAAAAAATE

@SandwichLover I hope today is O day!!
@MelissaM090 I hope you have great news to share about your appointment today!
@Marley629 I hope you are enjoying acupuncture!
@Mrsdaddario thanks for your well wishes!! I'm sending the same to you and your DH for this Wednesday!
@Lecool I hope today is O day and you get a positive OPK when you test again today! Also, period cheat meals sound amazing!!
@sarah0985 that sports therapist treatment sounds awful but it sounds like it also worked, so YAY!!!
@vintageandrea90 that's so cool what you have experienced in your nursing job!
@1017Shannon, do you have a mabis brand BBT?
@thefarmerswife0411 what a twatwaffle!!! I can't believe how rude people can be sometimes. It makes me sooo mad! Even when I wasn't TTC and not super aware, I would have NEVER said that to someone.
@becbec28 I'm so happy to hear everything is coming together with your house!! I know it's a great feeling!!!
@kfair001 Happy Birthday!!
@megzb510 I'm happy to hear you have a plan in place for acupuncture and you enjoyed your first session!!
@2OT sorry about CD 1...but I love the Michael Scott gif!
@MamaMunn keeping my fingers and toes crossed that your appointment goes well and you get a good plan in place!!
@canavara yikes!! The night before I am supposed to pee on something, I put a cup on the bathroom counter to remind me when I'm half asleep the next morning. It's worked so far (except one time...but it was early in my cycle and it didn't end up mattering).
@antoto thanks for your info on yoga! I knew you would have some great insight!! Also, I took Tylenol (which I've been told is safe) today for camps and headache from my period. It doesn't help as much as Advil, but it's better than nothing!

Month/cycle: 2/2
CD: 7
Month/cycle: 9

WAYDTGKU: I don't even know. See rant.
R/R/CS:
so AF showed up this weekend @ 9dpo.
It kind of fulfilled my need to be nosy
Gah.
@antoto That's all great info, thank you!
@furbabymom2007 Your whole post made me laugh. I'm sorry for the crappy things happening to you, but you seem to have a great sense of humour. Kobe beef IS like an out-of-body experience.

WAYDTGKU: temping & OPKs
R/R/CS: So this is my second day temping and I'm worried I'm doing something wrong. Yesterday's temp was 95.56 and today's was 96.77. I took them both at 6am. Are they supposed to fluctuate that much over one day? I'm completely new at this. I also had a one day period which I guess is just some post-BC weirdness? It's only my second cycle off.
GTKY: Have you ever had a paranormal/supernatural/other worldly experience? Yeah I had a couple of religious experienced that felt supernatural.

Definitely smart to not take random fertility drugs from OB who seems super nonchalant about it. But you might want to wait a few ore months before RE? I've heard you're supposed to wait a year if you are under 35 and don't have any diagnosed conditions.
I just don't know. At this point, I've got the appointment (I guess all the other women near me are super fertile and don't need REs because I got an appointment in 2 days). We've got all the pre-tests done, I might as well have a chat I guess.
CD: 3
WAYDTGKU: Trying to lose a few pounds, taking vitamins.
R/R/CS: I'm stupidly happy to be here, because yay, trying again! ... but I realize after so many months I definitely won't feel that way.
GTKY: Have you ever had a paranormal/supernatural/other worldly experience? No way, and I definitely hope all aliens, ghosts, and other things stay away from me.
TW: Loss
CD: 6
Creepy.
Me: 32 | DH: 36
Married June 2005
1/2016 - TTC#1
4/2017 - Initial RE visit, Dx: Severe MFI (Varicocele, 14% motility, 3% progression, but normal count)
7/2017 - Stage 3 endometriosis discovered during laparoscopic removal of ovarian cyst
9/27/2017 - BFP at 10dpo (cycle 22), baby boy due June 9, 2018
At the very least I am still wanting to do timed intercourse for a while more before jumping to iui and beyond (insert buzz light year gif here).
Appointment is now Wednesday morning (cd4, because I know cycle days better than dates). DH can't go which sucks but I don't think there is going to be anything groundbreaking discussed at this point yet.
I love this!

WAYDTGKU: will start BD EOD once AF is gone, I think it I'll try temping again, my sleep patterns aren't consistent so we will see, CM, etc.
R/R/CS: AF FINALLY! I wasn't allowed to begin again until this started. I've been calling it AF watch 2016. It has commenced!
GTKY: Have you ever had a paranormal/supernatural/other worldly experience? I had a good friend pass away in 2008. My and my two gfs had almost the same dream about him the same night! That was pretty wild. Not scary.. just really weird!
