So my daughter is in dance and her recital is June 5th and my due date is June 10. I've known all along that I may miss her recital if I go into labor early (I was induced after my due date with my daughter). I talked to the midwife today about scheduling a repeat c section (not sure about doing a VBAC) and she said they schedule them for exactly 39 weeks, which would be the Friday before her Sunday recital. I asked if they could put it off until the Monday after and she said no. So now I have to hope that this baby is head down and not too big so I can try a VBAC and hopefully have this baby after her recital. Again, I know I could have baby early and still miss the recital, but that's better than intentionally missing it.
Also this baby still doesn't have a name. Hubby and I talked about names for almost 2 hours last night and we don't even have a short list. We don't have a single name we like. We've already read an entire baby name book cover to cover.
I know every woman is different but I had a VBAC with a 10.2 lb giant headed baby just to give you some hope. You can do it

Doctors basing things off projected weight stresses me out because 1. It's only right sometimes and there's a huge margin of error and 2. A lot of women are capable of pushing out a big baby regardless of circumstance.
I come home for lunch every day. Usually, to H in his boxers on his PlayStation which irritates the hell out of me enough as it is. Get up and wash a fucking dish or something.
Today is no different except I've been home for 15 minutes and he has yet to even acknowledge that I am here. I'm currently eating lunch in silence deciding if I should bludgeon him with his controller or strangle him with the cord to his headphones.

I like the bludgeoning idea. It will really help you let out that rage

I don't blame you that would irritate the hell out of me!

Oh man. that would annoy me! So I vote: do both.
Yes. Good plan. I'll knock him upside the head and then strangle him. Less mess to clean up.
@courtjack and @alysemciver thanks for the encouragement. I wasn't even sure I wanted to try a VBAC--my daughter's birth was horrible and incredibly traumatic and ended in an emergency c section and surgery again the following day. But now I have to say I want one even if I don't just to wait extra days.
@ahernandez16 I'd bludgeon first. And I too would be furious.
Oh my goodness, are we being punished for requesting that they delete those sticky threads?! WTF is going on with all of these ads?! They're everywhere!!!

Aw I'm sorry you had such a bad experience. I think do whatever you think will give you a healing birth experience this time-be it a RSC or a VBAC.
Yes this. Do whatever YOU need to do. You want a VBAC, do it. You need a RSC. That's cool too, just don't let them push you around based on a projected weight crap.
Super stupid question (that a third time mom should probably know)- where you feel hiccups, does that tell you where baby's head is? Because I felt them on my upper right side this morning and now on my lower left side. But I didn't feel him flip today....but I assume the placement is where head is. I blame baby brain.

I'm late, but next time can you accidently hit the cord and unplug it? Or n it that too mean when he loses unsaved gameplay?

I've been telling myself that hiccups location is head location so I hope that's true!
@MsBeachNJ@Sgoldberg247 thanks for the well wishes ladies! Dr said there wasn't any obvious evidence of a UTI in my urine but they are going to go ahead and culture it and let me know on Monday!

It makes sense, at least in my mind. Maybe I should've started a thread about it o.O

I've always thought hiccups were more where the upper chest frame is. So close-ish to their head!
I think I just experienced my first baby hiccups! I was laying on my side and felt a rhythmic pulsing in my belly- felt like a heart beat! I was confused at first but then I thought oh! Maybe this is what it feels like when they have the hiccups! So cute!
@MamaNicoleof3 I honestly don't know. BUT, my girl is head down and has been for a while (I have a LOT of ultrasounds) and I feel the hiccups in my butt and cervix.
Oh, and my random. Tomorrow is one of my two baby showers and they're serving mimosas and I have every intention of enjoying a very small glass. I'm way too excited about this.
My cousin (not crazy) went to Universal Studios Hollywood this week and I totally used the pregnancy card and begged her to bring me one of these back from "Simpson Land." Yes. That is a cake box. The only problem is she posted a FB photo about it so now H knows it's here and I have to share. Bitch.

Enjoy, lady! I'm going to a wedding next weekend and I'm totally going to do the champagne toast. Just a sip but I can't stop thinking about it. I can't wait. It's seriously pathetic.

How often do you have ultrasounds, @VikingGirl12 ? How is everything going??

Tuesday will be my 9th ultrasound this pregnancy (including her fetal echo). I start going twice weekly Tuesday.. I'll have a bpp one day and an nst the other. I have to have my bag ready because if she fails a bpp they'll send me to the hospital for my c section right away. We are both doing great though! I'm 32 weeks today which was our goal and even though I'm having some painful contractions on and off, she's still sitting up really high so I'm feeling confident. We are kind of getting to the point where she's safer on the outside than the inside since my placenta Is at risk of deteriorating faster due to Down syndrome. Thanks for asking

Excuse my feet.
This is everything I never knew I needed.
Also -- stupid FTM question (that has probably been asked already, oopsie). How the heck do you ladies know what is a hiccup, punch, kick, headbutt, etc? All I can tell is that the little one is moving. Sometimes the movements feel different obviously but I have no idea how to tell what is what.
@catherinekate Hiccups are really soft, rhythmic twitches for me, rolls are just freaking weird feeling and everything else is pretty much grouped together as "other poking motions".
Eta because I forgot - I only 100% know which hiccups are because she had them during my appointment and the OB was able to tell with the Doppler apparently. If it weren't for that, I wouldn't be as sure that it was anything at all!
@ahernandez16 I think we will need to meet up at some point at US's and indulge in one (or 7?) of those glorious creations.....
@TNvols27 I'm annoyed with lurkers. Normally it doesn't bother me, but for someone who usually is a positive lurker on our boards, i just got rubbed the wrong way but I gif'd in your defense lol.
@sdLindenberg lol thank you for doing that. I honestly didn't mean to start a war of the birth month boards haha. I fear they are all going to come over and yell at me now. Maybe if I just don't respond anymore they will forget about it? Eh, sorry June! I didn't mean to start a bunch of drama :-(

I just found some life altering information that I had to share.

@winniethepoohspants that looks amazing.
It just makes me so excited to see this new little chicken grow into a toddler (and beyond!!!)
