That's lame! Seriously, don't they have anything better to do? You know, like fixing the app or deleting irrelevant stickies that take up space...
Oh, well. I guess it all comes with being a "free" app.
When I lurked on the july board, I noticed their whole 1st page was stickies, except the bottom 2 threads. That would drive me nuts, I like to see what's new, not the same ole stickies. I agree some are needed, but jeesh, delete the house hunting and baby party threads already. If there is a new party, they can put a new sticky
Buy Buy Baby has a deal on Chicco Next Fit. $50 gift card and you can use 20 percent off coupons. Just in case some of you ladies were thinking about it.
@NicknShan it was July's that got deleted out of thin air
Hmm. I didn't get caught up on that one. Anything good!?
A troll/semi poster talking about she wished her husbands dog would die only for the reason that she just "didn't like it"... It set off a few flames and they she proceeded to just go down the troll hole.
My question is, how come July can come post here, but I couldn't post in July last night? I went over essentially to apologize for us all if we had upset anyone, and to share to love of tots, and it wouldn't let me post it!! I legit said "I'm super sorry we offended you guys, we don't see this kind of stuff (the lady wanting to kill the dog) and I'm pretty sure that's where the initial comment came from. Please accept these delicious tots as our sincerest of apologizes"
Yeah, I was expecting much worse when I saw that it was closed.
And the stickies we want removed are still there....
YES! UGH! Also, can I just say that @sdLindenberg deserves all the tots for coming to the rescue in the fffc thread. I mean geez, if you wanna say that another board kinda makes you too scared to comment in, that's the place to do it. Huzzah for team June!!
I second that @sdLindenberg should get all the tots! She came to the rescue last night!
@June2016BabyW I didn't know that saying something about another board was against the TOU- or I wouldn't have done it. I didn't mean to offend anyone. It was just my FFFC and probably a UO that the environment over there scared me and I was simply glad our environment here wasn't like that. I read July every day (as well as April) for the interesting topics. Trying to soak up all the info I can as a FTM! Anyways, sorry to everyone in June for everything that went down last night! I think it's silly they closed our thread though!! It wasn't even that bad!
Oh the flip side, I think I definitely would have gone to another board to post if someone complained about us. Yes, a lot of the boards have a lot of snark and usually more than we do, but I've seen a fair amount of snark thrown out here too. And at least it was a regular July poster who came by to the July defense and it was someone who has posted on our board a lot. I can see @sdLindenberg definitely jumping over to another board and totting people if they talked crap about June. It is against TOU of to complain about other boards so when I first saw the comment about July get thrown out there I was waiting for it to turn bad. But I still think it was handled well in the end. I wonder if people dropping by June would get a skewed opinion of us just based on the day they come by and whether or not tots have been thrown yet
I tried to apologize to July and share our tots with them, but apparently I can't post in their boards, but they can't post in ours? Weird. Lol.
Should we do like we did secret labor buddies? Have people PM me to get into a group? I'd be happy to set one up... And don't care if we screen it... If you PM me and I don't know you, I will check your profile. They don't lie.
PS: I am looking forward to a Facebook group for regulars now. I hate the ads. I hate the app.
Is that a UO? Or just a FFSC?
I'd be game to be part of a FB group for regulars. I'm kinda done with this nonsense :-
Yeah, I kind of think the regulars won't be changing at this point and have all been around for awhile.
I agree. And really with my privacy settings all anyone would be able to see on my profile are the two pictures everyone can see. I'm scared of Internet strangers, even if I "know" them. I grew up with my dad doing IT and other computer stuff and I've heard a lot of stories.

I'd be down for that. Maybe mention it in the daily thread too so people don't get left out. I feel like the some of the regulars don't post in this thread but post over there regularly. And vice versa, some never post in those and exclusively post over here.
I think keeping it exclusive to those 2 threads would hold off the majority of the randos. And screening them would help too... haha
I'm so behind on this thread. Happy Saturday, lovelies! I'm marking all day and proctoring later tonight so I am obviously planning on eating junk food all day to make myself feel better about the state of these papers. Sigh.
I skimmed the July board earlier--hot damn those stickies are absolutely ridiculous. Seconding what everyone else has said about a facebook group for the regulars.
To everyone who has had (or has had family) with medical emergencies, I'm happy to read so much good news and I'm keeping everyone in my thoughts. Sorry I haven't responded to you all individually.
And thanks @SGoldberg247 & @Bear14+ for the helpful hints about baby movement. Nothing like pregnancy/parenting (I assume?!) to make you feel like an utter noob.
@SDLindenberg I assume that was a Bump glitch because I've posted there before without any problem.
@TNvols27 I didn't feel like you were trying to stir shit with the first post and I wouldnt have known it was again TOU if I hadn't seen something very similar go down somewhere else. It seems like every thing is good now.
I do agree we should steal fur baby Friday (or fur baby every day). I need cute pet pictures in my life!!
And although I would love to see many of you in a different forum, I agree I'm kinda privacy oriented so it would be tough for me to come out and FB a bunch of strangers etc. Are there any group chat forum places where people can still maintain anonymity??

I could do a fur baby is! I already posted this, but if it's not too much work, we can create fb accounts with the names we have here, just for the purpose. Or maybe some other social media forum.

This kind of talk makes me sad, but I agree that the censorship here is pretty maddening at this point. At least we can always start a new randoms thread even if this one is deleted without explanation.
Also, I just got back from my hospital tour and I was pretty happy with everything... Until I found out that I can't rent one of their hospital grade pumps. The tour guide responded, "Don't you know you can get one through your insurance?" OF COURSE I KNOW THAT. Don't you know the $200 pumps aren't nearly the same as the $2,000 pumps???? I know it's not that big a deal, but I'm still feeling pretty ragey about it.
Got my first, "Oh my GOD. Your stomach is MOVING" from my friend sitting across from me at lunch.
I was like, "Huh? Oh. Yeah. It does that."
My H had his hand on my belly last night and he said, "OH my! That was a... A foot! I felt a foot! It was a real something!" And I'm like, "yeah. A baby."

Hello, ladies! I just caught up on all the FFFC drama--whew! I'm with @ahernandez16 when she said who gives a fack if a thread "changes topic?" That was so not a big deal. There was like, a spark, and then it was pretty amicable after that. The Bump Gods are like Big Brother from 1984. If anything, that was a good example of how to mature boards can handle cross-BMB conflict. (Okay, "mature boards" makes us sound old, but you get what I'm saying.)
I didn't Bump much yesterday, and I was gonna add a FFFC on this thread because I actually thought of a good one, but now I forgot. ARGH!!!! Hopefully I'll think of it again soon.
In other news, I had a great hospital tour the other day--even though this is our second kid, the first one was born in TX, so we wanted to see this hospital. I am very impressed! I had a great first birth experience, too, but this hospital will put the baby on my chest immediately and evaluate her there, plus they do delayed bathing, and I can get a labor tub in my room if I want one, there was a birthing ball already in there...lots of cool things! I had to laugh, though, when we went by the nursery...there was a newborn girl in there, and you could tell she was a girl because of the big GIGANTIC hospital-issue "bow-hat" on her head. That must be the new trend. I mean, she was undeniably cute as can be, but I had to snort a little--I mean, the bow part of the hat was gigantic.

Had my first baby shower today (I got real excited when we scored our stroller and car seat!!!), ordered a personalized (with name) going home outfit, ordering final things for the nursery decorations and planning my organization diapers, onesies and such....
Shits getting real guys.... Definitely having an "Oh Shit" moment!

Hooray for getting shit done, mama! We're finally getting a move on, too. Got my sweet new rocker/recliner, the co-sleeper...heading to Ikea tomorrow for the dresser/changing table. Yippee!!!
I'm with you on the "oh shit" moments.... Mine come and go, but last night, H and I were adjusting furniture in the nursery to get a better fit and layout, when i totally zoned as little girl started her nightly dance party. Can't believe that in a matter of 8-ish weeks, she's going to be here. Yikes!! H is currently in full nesting mode, while I feel like poo so I'm laying down. Both bathrooms are spotless, we've already done 3 loads of laundry and I have about 2 more to go today. I wanted to get a start on our hospital bag but that requires getting up lol.
We should just put the word 'random' in all thread titles the a change in topic wouldn't be a close able offense. FFFC Randoms, Random Twatwaffle Tuesday, HDBD & etc....lol.

Random hey BUMP PEOPLE, please delete the ever loving threads that nobody gives a crap about.
Holy crap, I have never been so thankful for my adblocker (sorry TB, no ad revenue from me). Everyone keeps talking about how they're getting so many ads and I haven't seen any, just some weird new extra lines. Totally forgot that I had it and paused it. The ads are freaking ridiculous!
Question! that isn't important enough to start a new thread (is that possible?)... although maybe I should so this thread doesn't get shut down for a change in topic.
When are you guys installing your car seats or at least the base? I want to be as ready as we can when I go into labor since we're hoping to make it to a hospital an hour away so H coming home after baby is born to install it before we go home isn't really that ideal, but if we put it in today and God forbid we got into a fender bender or something before baby comes and the base is in the car it'd be no good. And we'd probably be scrambling to get another.
I figure now is probably still a bit too early but I was thinking about getting them installed around 34 weeks. Also to get the dog adjusted to something else in his space. Do you think that's still too early?

Andalso, the advertising right in the middle of these threads is going to drive me craaaaaaaaazy. Not pleased, Bump Gods, not pleased...

Whoo! It means I was being a bump whore last night.
