DD is 11 weeks and did TWO new things last night. We had her laying on her back on the mat of her play gym. She looked like she was concentrating really hard, looking at her hand and then at one of the toys. She tried to grab it several times, and then she finally got it! She looked so pleased with herself. A little while later it looked like she was trying to roll over. I thought there was no way that was actually what was going on, and then all of the sudden she did it. She's rolled from her tummy to her back lots of times, but this was the first time she rolled from her back to her tummy. I put her back on her back, and she did it again!
She's a tiny little thing- 10 lbs exactly as of Friday- but she's learning!
The play mat with the kick keyboard has sparked a great leap forward in my little homo sapien. She is reaching for the dangling toys (still with a balled up fist but hey.. takes time to figure out how to make fingers fing), laughing (even in her sleep. Fairly certain she's dreaming about the play mat) and spoke her first multi-syllable word today! Oh it was nonsense. But it was multi-vowel nonsense. In one breath. This is a brand new skill for her. And she knows it. She was squealing with delight at how pimp she is now.
This thread is so much fun , I love reading about everyone's LO.
Alice is 12 weeks old today. BW was 6 lbs 12 oz , DW 6 lbs 6 oz she now weighs just under 11 pounds. She is a little over 20.5 inches in height , just getting in 0-3 mos clothes. She has been lifting her head since 2 weeks, she is now sitting unassisted on laps, reaches for and holds her toys, plays with her feet when getting her diaper changed, can support her own weight when standing, smiles, and talks all day long. She waives, is working on giving kisses and says the word "yeah" (no joke multiple people have heard it....DH and I aren't just crazy FTM parents). I love my teeny tiny baby .
Bash hit another milestone at 17wks today. He can now roll from back to tummy. I'm so happy to see him progressing and reaching milestones. Even though I've experienced it with my other two, every baby is different and it always seems like the first time all over again ❤️

Sybil is 15 weeks today and rolled from tummy to back and back to tummy. Both in the same day! She shocked herself. And me. We'll see if she can recreate the back to tummy again. It could have been a fluke.
