I hate the princess thing too. Also when people complain about their kid on Facebook and finish the post with "Love my little man/princess/whatever!" like they're afraid their friends will call CPS on them otherwise.
@sidecarsareforbishes I was having a bad case of lightning crotch yesterday and I told DH I was going to pinch him really hard every time I felt it so he could join in on this wonderful experience together
This is probably super unpopular, but I hate how athletic wear has become casual attire. Is a trip to Walmart really so physically demanding that is requires an underarmour sweat suit? I'm prepared for the "but it's so comfortable" so and so forth comments, regardless, it looks ridiculous to me.

I wear yoga pants to Walmart, if I HAVE to go. I dress up for Target.
I guess, just considering walmart's usual clientele, why anyone would side eye athletic attire?
It is comfy but I really do only wear it when I'm working out (or doing something physical like yard work or taking the dogs on a long walk) so if I do go to Walmart or target in my running capris and baggy tank, it's because I was doing something before that required it and didn't feel like changing to pick up light bulbs at Walmart.
Pregnant people who are overly dramatic about the taste of the glucose test drink. Every time I hear the complaint I eye roll and am tempted to say "and how do you expect to make it through childbirth?"

I sometimes end up at the grocery store in yoga or workout capri pants if we're on our way home from baby dance class, but I always feel really self-conscious about it.
My unpopular opinion: I think new people sometimes get treated really poorly and are made to feel unwelcome on this board. It doesn't hurt to be nice (or just remain silent), even if it's to some person you'll never meet in real life and even if they ask a question you find inane.
1.) I'm starting to think Justin Bieber is talented. I'm digging his recent songs (OMG what am I saying?)
2.) I don't understand hunting for fun. I don't get it. That girl who was all over the internet last year because she was game hunting in Africa? She deserved all the hate mail she received. That dentist who killed Cecil the Lion? He needs to be castrated.
I hate it when people casually bring up god in conversation like everyone believes the same thing, and even more when people (my mom) who know I don't believe in any gods tell me things like "God is good" because my MaterniT21 came back clear. That makes no sense whatsoever - would it be a sign that god was bad if my results had showed problems?
A pair of yoga pants or something of that nature doesn't bother me, and Walmart was just an example of a public place, my feelings are the same for any place. My gripe is more so with the people who have the expensive, elaborate workout suits and outfits on, who are clearly not headed towards, nor did they come from working out (I know, I know, "how do I know?"). I have friends and family who do it, I'm not judging really, I just don't get it. My youngest sister for example is 13, insists on having all this namebrand Underarmour and Nike gear, but if you were even to MENTION jogging she would probably break a sweat and have a panic attack. If 'looking athletic' is a fashion trend, so be it. To each their own, I just don't get it.

OMG. You would be soooo annoyed at the plastic-surgery moms all over LA and San Diego who dress in Lululemons ALL the time. In fairness, considering how vain those women are, they probably work out like 5 hours a day.
@annabenanna HA! You took the words right outta my mouth about LA and lululemon! SO TRUE.
Right? They're everywhere!
You know I must confess I love workout wear. Ha. I feel like if I wear them 3x a week and put them through the washer/dryer 3x a week, they need to be quality...Also, I'm finding that one of my go-to leggings with this growing bump.. are my Teeki Pants (which are workout pants). And I wear them everywhere! So I'm sorry @AllyTheKid , I'm totes guilty.
Ugh my full reply didn't post! I can manage six kids of all different ages without leashes, if you can't manage one without putting a leash on him/her then get a dog instead! And if your kid runs off all the time then teach them not to! Putting a cute animal and making it a "backpack" doesn't make it cute!

Trends are trends I just don't understand them all!
@missteacherlady16 I didn't either til I broke down and bought some knock offs from Dillards. Instant love haha
I'm a long time Belieber, have been since the start and I'm so proud of it! Lol my family has teased me about it but I've never given up on him and stood by even when he was being a punk! I adore him and love all of his music and I don't care if I'm 38! I dragged my daughter to his movie when it came out years ago, she was not pleased.
@ladyshark311 haha. I used to feel the same way. I got one for my fast toddler who would bolt when we went to Disney. I actually ended up forgetting it in the car. our group was large and I didn't want to worry about going back for it. I ended up getting rid of it after having a big fight with DH over it. He was dragging DD by it which made my blood boil.
I can't get on board with this either. I do hate them, but I really don't judge anyone for using them. But, DD is 2 and a super, over active kid. She won't hold hands, she takes off every chance she gets and never stops moving. I will hold on to something on her, while she kicks and screams when we cross the road or walk thru parking lots. I refused to use a leash.
@jillianpardo I can see at Disney, a place like that would make sense but I'm cracking up at DH dragging her by it, I don't even know why but the way you said it made me actually LOL!
I can spot over lining lips on many people and I think it looks ridiculous. I subscribe to a lot of makeup channels and the pouty half open lip thing drives me crazy. And the eye batting, winking thing. Anyone know what I'm talking about?
@mrskratt I was actually leaving a parking lot the other day and this poor woman was trying to cross with her two or three year old and the girl was just flat out refusing and trying to run off. I felt so awful for her and she's giving me a look of remorse that they were taking so long. I yelled out the window not to worry about it, we've all been there. Two year olds are crazy! Lol
@ladyshark311 I'll probably get flamed for thinking this, but those leashes don't bother me. When it comes down to it, the child's safety is most important and if that's what some parent needs to control a runner, so be it. Also, every kid is different. You don't know what kind of issues they might have that make teaching them not to run very difficult. Again, safety first!

@jillianpardo , hahaha yes! I've seen these all over instagram!!! I follow so many MUA on IG. Did you see the mom who did her full makeup while she was in labor, to help pass the time? I thought she was so cute. I was thinking I'd probably do the same thing:

I wouldn't think you would get flamed for that. That's exactly why I said I won't judge anyone who uses one, because you really don't know their story.
@bnsmith85 I think I got lucky because I have two of my own that are permanently attached to my butt and I have one stepchild with ADHD but she has a strict rule about holding the cart or holding hands when we go out in public. I can see with some kids where this is not an easy "lesson" though to not run. I think I just internally feel awful when I see it because I don't see how the child will learn NOT to run or to stay with their parents.
@ladyshark311 it was embarrassing. DD would lay on the ground (stubborn) and DH would slide her along or aggressively yank at her. It sounds funny but DH was always really angry about it and he looked like ( and was acting) like a total a hole.

On mobile... Missed that there were comments before mine that were saying the same. Whoops
I wouldn't say I'm a fanatic about LLR, but I do own a few skirts and leggings and the leggings are like butter. I bought DD a pair too and she LOVES them.
My husband is a big comic book movie nerd--- not comic books, just their movie adaptions. I've seen almost all of them and I know this might seem crazy to some, but I prefer Loki to Thor. Something about him is just kinda hot.
