Re: UO Thursday 3/17/16
1. I don't care if people comment that I'm big. Yeah, no shit, there's a baby in there. I also think people tend to forget just how big some bellies get during pregnancy. I don't fault them for that and for some reason I just don't find it rude.
2. I don't care if I'm somewhere when/if my water breaks. Again it just goes with the territory.
I think I've posted about this before, but with Spring on the way, the clown costumes are picking up on facebook again. Just wanted to say, I still disapprove and feel like you're trying to have your child run away with the circus.
I fought DH for years on this and ultimately just let go of the flat sheet. I'll admit I like it better now that I'm used to it. Less to get tangled up in while sleeping and I like my feet uncovered.

Maybe I need to think about it more but I feel like as long as the essentials are done (car seat installed, baby necessities purchased) I will still have help buying groceries and plus there is always Amazon Prime (and Prime Now in my area). After my first baby I was dying to get to the store and we went to Target waaaay too many times.
Also, I am a sheet-untucker.
I guess more power to you if you want to feel all the pain, I just don't.
My UO is that I don't understand people who get so into TV shows that they HAVE to see them every week and if they can't be home, they record them. DH and I don't watch tv, we don't even pay for it. To us it's a waste of money and we both feel like we have better things to do. Also, I can't stand reality TV.
When I tell people I don't watch tv they always ask, "WHAT DO YOU DO WITH YOUR FREE TIME?!" To me there are much better things to do than watch tv shows. Don't get me wrong, we do have Netflix and if we have time we will watch an episode or two of something, but that's it.

ETA: And allergies! WTH to northern VA super-allergens. It's unreal.
And totally with you @TXmamatobe on the list front.
So I guess I'm not their biggest fan.
1) I am terrified of the side effects and just know I will end up being the person that gets those horrid migraines
2) I keep reading that being able to feel (ie, control) your pushing might help avoid tears
I am more worried about lingering effects after birth than having a few (hopefully!!) hours of pain.
But again, I am a big chicken and will probably be screaming for the epidural after 3 cms!
I actually had a cavity drilled once without Novocaine (not sure why, but doc just went for it). It sucked.

I don't like avocado, except in sushi. I think it's pasty and gross, and that includes guacamole.
I'd also like to weigh in on the bed sheets debate: untucked.
