@mokay19 That's a fantastic suggestion, thank you! He may not be soaking in how I am explaining it. Which is not something I thought of before. I'm definitely going to send him some links!
@writeress I think you're on the right track! I think it's easier to believe there is nothing wrong than to face the facts you know? He is SUPER protective of me. So I think it's easier for him to act as if there isn't an issue. I'm assuming he doesn't know how to "fix it" and that bothers him. On top of the fact that for all I know he may feel anxious about an SA if in fact there is an issue because it might "bruise his ego"! *Mental note to be a good wife and ask that question tonight*
R/R/CS: My second acupuncture appointment went well yesterday and she said my pulse was so much stronger (I think that's the word she used) than last time and she was so impressed/excited about my pulse yesterday. She also told me to stop eating bananas, which is super difficult for me because I love bananas!
GTKY: What is your go-to "fun fact" about yourself if you have to share one in a real life getting-to-know-you activity?
1. I used to show horses (hunter/jumper/equestrian) and compete on a national level. 2. I had my first chicken wing at the age of 29.

@Sugargirl1019 That is really cool! What were you in the Olympics for?
@beary67 That's great about your pulse! FX for you... why are you supposed to stop eating bananas?!
Month/Cycle: 3/3
CD: 15
WAYDTGKU: same old, same old. Lots of sexing it up this week
R/R/CS: this is my first month temping and I'm finding it quite interesting! I think I probably o'd today because the last two morning have been higher...but not sure how much higher they should be! I think I'm supposed to be hoping for a high temp again tomorrow morning
GTKY: eek, I'm so bad at these. Even at round tables in team meetings I go red when it's my turn. I guess mine would be that my second language was an Aboriginal Indian dialect because we lived on reserve for a few years growing up. My Dad was doing his field work for his PhD so my brother and I went to school on the reserve.
WAYDTGKU: CM, SHOW, OPK, PNV, raspberry leaf tea, wishes
R/R/CS: Everything is broken at work today. Super stressed and hoping it doesn't jank up my O.
GTKY: What is your go-to "fun fact" about yourself if you have to share one in a real life getting-to-know-you activity? I usually use one of two:
I am functionally deaf in one ear. Sorry to anybody on my right side! (I use this if it's going to be a very talky event, so people don't think I'm rude when I have to ask them to repeat themselves 800 times)
I've walked inside an active volcano and on top of a glacier within the same week
@canavara How can you tell the difference between EWCM after BD and just semen?
Possibly TMI but it was extremely stretchy and slippery and (even more TMI!) didn't crust up on the toilet paper after being left to dry. Also, still having it this morning 16 hours later
R/R/CS: I've had so much stress lately I really hope it's not effecting me too bad. 2016 has not been great so far and honestly I've been really, really down with everything that's happened. I find myself having a lot of bad days so I'm trying really hard to focus on the one positive thing right now. We close on our first house in 2 weeks and will be out of our awful apartment in 3 weeks.
GTKY: What is your go-to "fun fact" about yourself if you have to share one in a real life getting-to-know-you activity?
That I was home schooled my whole life until I went to college and I'm a huge music/band nerd
R/R/CS: Temp keeps decreasing. I've had 3 days of "high" CB OPK, need to go buy a new box to check today. So I woke up at 4:30am this morning after 5+ hours of sleep and my temp was 96.87. I got up to use the restroom. I fell back asleep and I think I woke up at 5:30am (my usual BBT time) and temp was 97.1. I'm thinking I should use my 4:30am time? Still waiting of the temp rise.
GTKY: What is your go-to "fun fact" about yourself if you have to share one in a real life getting-to-know-you activity? I have a sister that is nearly 22 years younger than me, she's almost 7.
WAYDTGKU: Still waiting on O confirmation with temps... Any day now. HIO as much as possible until then.
R/R/CS: Last week, I got thrown into my old job. I had a dream last night that I had to go back there and got hammered by my old boss and previous co-workers for leaving and accused me of badmouthing all of them. They wouldn't let me leave. It was a weird and stressful dream. There are times when I miss my old job. I actually liked what I did (except for payroll...I wasn't originally hired to do that part of the job); it was the people and management that I couldn't get on board with. Then I have a dream like that... ugh. I wish I could get it out of my head. Makes me irritated at myself for letting it get to me so much.
GTKY: What is your go-to "fun fact" about yourself if you have to share one in a real life getting-to-know-you activity? Umm....I've played the piano since I was four. Also, I didn't start running until I was 24 and the first race I signed up for was a half marathon. I got many "yeah right" type comments when I told them I was going to run a half marathon. That basically fueled my training and I ran the ENTIRE thing without stopped. Now I'm addicted. Next race is this Saturday.

@Sparty18@JessCL@mokay19 *ETA* @H4aPartyof5I have too much 'dampness' in my body which can cause irregular cycles and problems conceiving and bananas are considered to be very damp and therefore something I should avoid eating.
@mokay19 I was always terrified I should swallow a bone. When I was little, a boy in my class chocked on a bone so I was always irrationally scared. I also though boneless wings would still have bones in them (I'm an idiot). I finally got over my fear and tried a boneless wing and loved it!

@beary67 I love bananas! That's very odd that she would say that. After hearing all these things about acupuncturists it makes me want to make an appt just to see what they say.
@mrsdaddario sorry you had a disagreement with your H. Sometimes I forget that man think differently than women and it might help just approaching the subject in a different way. My H once told me that I forget he has feelings to.
@Marley629 I don't know for sure, but I would say it doesn't matter if you take liquid or pill--one might absorb faster than the other, but the end results should be the same.
@loulieface sorry about CD1. Never fun, but at least it sounds like you are staying positive.
@sldp123 Glad HIO was successful! Hope you O soon. TMI tip-- I use a bit of preseed to get H going manually so that I can avoid the saliva/sperm problem.
@houseofsetters You can hang out here as long as you want! I'm interested to hear if your O date based on the u/s matches up with temps.
@difazette Love your fact--I bet your DS will always be very proud of his middle name.
@mrsdaddario Ugh, so sorry about your difficulty with DH--I truly think men just aren't as mentally involved with this process because the woman is the one doing most of the work and constantly wondering what is going on inside the body. My H has also made comments about "why don't you stop doing all this stuff" and "maybe you should just relax about it." Even if I stopped temping/tracking, I would still be noticing everything my body is doing and consciously thinking about it! Also, I don't think being ambidextrous is boring--that's awesome!
@Winnie81 I love that you do beekeeping! One of my coworkers does that on the side and sells us her delicious honey (much better than store bought!)
@canavara Yes, you would think that at our age there would be no need for GTKY games in real life, but unfortunately I have several supervisors who think these activities are good for "team building."
@melissaM090 I agree that the amount of BD involved in TTC seems great in theory, really difficult to carry out in practice. I always figured this would be H's dream, but it seems like I'm often forcing it on him, ha!
@lecool Ugh, work has been so busy for me, too! This is the first chance I've gotten all day to respond to my own post.
@tamalahoops Glad that HSG went well! FX for good results from the SA.
@whiska Sorry about CD1 and reaching the year benchmark.
@beary67 I can't believe you had never had a chicken wing, but am glad your eyes have been opened!!! Also, I am disturbed by this banana news...I ate at least one banana on a daily basis.
@thejerilu Sounds like you have had some really spectacular travel experiences!
@nursemarie9 I would probably use the 4:30 temp--the three hours straight of sleep is always more important for my temps than accuracy of time.
Month/Cycle: 7/7
CD: 13
WAYDTGKU: Like @cjt121413 and @sarah0985 said, same ol', same ol' (does get somewhat tedious typing it out everyday, doesn't it?). Though, now that it's CD13, I suppose we better start HIO.
R/R/CS: I'm excited because we just booked a short trip to Nashville! It will be during my TWW (if I O regularly), so it should be a good distraction.
GTKY: What is your go-to "fun fact" about yourself if you have to share one in a real life getting-to-know-you activity? Ah, I'm sorry so many PP are so adverse to these games!! @PepperAT@writeress@sammajan19 I don't mind them (and usually enjoy hearing other people's facts), but it does make me feel a bit anxious and that's why I have a "go-to" that I will pretty much always use. My fun fact is that Hanson has been my favorite band for nearly 20 years and I've seen them live over 10 times. Sooooo fun, right??
@houseofsetters@nwegman7878@sldp123@felix08 Thank you! I've been taking the pill form but I wasn't sure because I went back to TCOYF and it seems she talks about liquid form only so just wanted to make sure I wasn't doing something that could be more harmful than helpful!
R/R/CS: My DH and I got into a bit of a non-fight last night, which I'm still feeling upset about today.
GTKY: I do better when there are specific questions to answer...most GTKY activities actually make me nervous. I'd probably say something about training/showing my dogs in agility and conformation, which for most people seems to be a bit unusual.
@cjt141213, I'm with you on disliking real life GTKY activities. @Marley629, I think it would probably be really nice to grow up in a large family, but yes, that's pretty unusual these days. @LoulieFace, sorry about CD1 @l9i, sorry that your temps are doing strange things and that you are back in WTO. @sldp123, glad that things are going better with DH. I love the gif, though now I'm sitting here wondering what movie it's from. I've seen it, but can't place it. @sarah0985, that's an amazing fun fact. @houseofsetters, glad that you got some information from your appointment and that you'll get even more later this week. @DiFazette, sorry to hear about your Uncle's passing. We certainly appreciate your family's service. @nwegman7878, hope that you are able to get some more rest tonight. @mrsdaddario, sorry that you and DH aren't on the same page right now. Hugs. I'm also ambidextrous, but only in sports. My twin is left handed. I write right handed, but play most sports left handed (with the exception of batting right). @canavara, my pre-O temps (with my other thermometer) typically stayed in the 96.4-.7 range. Now with the Mabis they're higher, so maybe it's just the thermometer? Or maybe it's a fluke. Hope that O comes around soon for you though. @Winnie81, I'm the same way...if I wake up, it's incredibly hard for me to go back to sleep. @furbabymom2007, hope that your DH's SA results are good and that your doctor is able to provide some additional insight into your blood work. @thefarmerswife0411, I love English Mastiffs @moosette113, I also can't stand when people can't seem to follow instructions/directions...so annoying. @MelissaM090, what was your favorite Cruise destination? @LeCool, yay for a positive OPK and probable O! @PepperAT, yay for a short workday today! @mokay19, LOL at your DH. That's pretty cute though all things considered. @DumbledoresArmy, glad that you didn't miss your FW. @tamalahoops, hope your DH's results are good. @vintageandrea90, that's a pretty impressive goal. Good luck! @MamaMunn, that's amazing that you were part of a ballet company...my mom pulled my twin and I out of dance/ballet after one year. She wasn't wrong really; I don't have that much grace at all. @PennStateCait, I actually didn't know it was possible to catch chicken pox 3 times. Wow. @whiska, sorry about CD1, but I'm glad that you have found the silver lining behind this one. @writeress, yay for FW. @Sugargirl1019, that's a big honor to carry the torch. I bet it was so much fun! @sammajane19, I hope that the Provera isn't as rough on you this time around. @BusinessWife, I hate when my DH gives "motivational" speeches, pointers, etc. It just never works out how he thinks it will. Hugs. @EgnaroBean, hope that your cycle resets itself soon. @beary67, why did she say to stop eating bananas? Your show history is so cool...I loved showing horses growing up, but I only ever learned English Pleasure, so nowhere near your level of expertise. @JessCL, that's pretty cool that you learned the Aboriginal dialect...was that in Australia? @TheJerilu, hope that things calm down at work for you. @becbec28, sorry that things haven't been going well in 2016 but congratulations on your new house. @NurseMarie9, I would probably use the 4:30 temp but make a note of the second temp. @linzrunz, major props for running the half marathons...I hate running. @felix08, enjoy Nashville; it's a great town!
WAYDTGKU: Vitamins, Baby Aspirin, Acupuncture, aromatherapy, Met 2000, CD 3-7 Fermera...ultrasound friday. Hoping for mature follies, ovideral or pregynl trigger, and a successful IUI #1:)
R/R/CS: Kinda a low key week. Not motivated to do much either. Dreaming about a trip I am taking this spring. Found out my sister is pregnant - VERY excited for them but also a bit bummed out for me and trying to do my best to not be jealous and just be excited. Trying to find extreme joy in my life with the usual stresses plus TTC stress etc. Doing the usual...if I get pregnant this month what will the due date be thing lol.
Also I can tell that I am getting deeper into this TTC thing as ideas I thought were hokey when I started TTC now seem like worth a shot (like Baby Aspirin, Aromatherapy, etc).
GTKY: When I was in college I made 20 plus apple pies...in a dorm kitchen for a acquaintances engagement party.

WAYDTGKU: HIO ED currently, temping and charting, CM and CP, OPK, PNV with DHA
R/R/CS: So I had a temp spike today! Fingers crossed for two more. I had a positive OPK on Monday and lots of EWCM from like Friday ish to yesterday. Everything is looking good. Except it's my first month temping and my chart looks like a mess with a lot of up and down, and generally low temps. I'm not sure I'm going to really be able to see O with my temps. And I'm also generally nervous that the temp isn't going to go up in general, especially since I had what I consider all of my normal O signs.
GTKY: What is your go-to "fun fact" about yourself if you have to share one in a real life getting-to-know-you activity? I am a huge nerd and love to game. And most people in real life find this super fascinating because it's not something they would ever 'assume' about me otherwise. So I usually go with that one.
@beary67 - your acupuncturist may have just solved one of my unanswered peeves about my own life. TMI disclosure: I wonder if cutting out bananas will help my dreaded swamp foot? I'm going to do a study over the next week. Bananas are known to increase moisture in the body, but I never put it together! I'll be sure to check back with y'all about this very important topic.
@aliciabhen I'm feeling the same way! I've been tracking AF in a different app for a while and so I'm still using that plus FF. According to my other app plus all my signs, I would have thought I would have O'ed by now. Plus, I'm just using a regular thermometer. Haven't gotten around to buying anything else. I'm blaming it on being an impatient newbie and sticking around in WTO for another week to see what happens. Maybe it'll keep me from SS and going BSC during the TWW.

@PennStateCait is this your first month taking EPO? I read
that it can delay O, so that may be a possibility? I stopped taking it as soon
as I read that (had only taken it two days) because we have enough problems
with timing as it is, I can’t be delaying things, haha. I think some ladies on
here have taken it with no issue though, so hopefully that’s the case for you
and you will get a +OPK soon!
@sldp123 it is my first month! I started last month but kept forgetting to take it every morning. This makes me feel so much better! We'll keep hio...

GTKY: What is your go-to "fun fact" about yourself if you have to share one in a real life getting-to-know-you activity? Oooh hmm... I don't really have a "go-to," but once I said that I took ballet for 10 years through classes that fed into a company here in town and was in their production of the Nutcracker for five years. Then another guy stood up and said he was part of the symphony that provides the music for that production of the Nutcracker during the exact same time I was in it. That was kind of fun.

I just started using pre-seed this cycle, about 3 times so far. The first time I used 3g and that felt like too much. So I now use between 1-2g and that seems plenty for me. I use the plastic applicator, not the best applicator but it works.

Hey everybody!!! I wanted to do a comment roundup before I (hopefully) head over to TWW tomorrow. You guys are awesome.
@l9i I hate the back and forth between TWW and WTO, I had a fake out last cycle, got CH and moved to TWW, and then they went away and I O'd 11 days after. I will say, waiting for CH is (usually) a good way to keep from going crazy and bouncing back and forth. Hopefully O is in your near future!
@sldp123 That gif. So good. Fx for O soon and yaaaay that you got to HIO and DH is feeling better about it! @sarah0985 That's such an amazing story! I love that they gave you an award and recognized you! @DiFazette What an amazing legacy in your family! @nwegman7878 FX that you get some good sleep! Also...competitive figure skating?! So cool!! @mrsdaddario SO sorry your H is not being understanding about what's going on. I got my official PCOS dx today so I feel you...big hugs!! My H has his SA next week, and it's not covered by insurance, but it also didn't seem like a lot of money to spend on it, to me at least. @Winnie81 So cool that you are a beekeeper! That has always fascinated me. Also a total introvert homebody over here too! @canavara That's wild that you've had 5 days of positive OPKs, I didn't know that a surge could last that long! Hope O shows up soon!! @furbabymom2007 FX for good SA results!!! Hope you get some good information and input from your doc! @thefarmerswife0411 Rupert is a great name for an enormous mastiff!! @moosette113 That is crazy that you and your horse both had such a freak thing happen! @MelissaM090 Hope acupuncture helps!! I'm planning to start next cycle if we don't have success this cycle. Also, I totally feel your situation with your H, sometimes mine can overcome the weeknight blah and other times I have to be more persuasive! @Lecool Yay for + OPK and good timing!! Hooray!
@PepperAT Hope you enjoyed leaving work early!! I feel the same way about the GTKY question in group settings...I want to crawl under something.
@mokay19 I wish my H would use TTC as a line! That's funny. FX you see something positive from your body soon!!
@dumbledoresarmy Glad you didn't miss your FW!! FX that acupuncture will help with cycle length, I'm thinking of trying it for the same thing.
@tamalahoops FX for good SA results!! And yay for a good sized follicle!!
@MamaMunn FX for O!! That's amazing that you were part of a ballet company!
@PennStateCait FX O shows up soon! I've heard that same thing about EPO, hopefully that's all it is!
@whiska Sorry for CD1!! Be good to yourself today! And that's crazy about the neighborhood you grew up in! I feel like an old lady that my first thought was what the homeowners insurance must cost!
@sugargirl1019 Hooray for + OPK! O can be 12-48 hours afterward, so hopefully you'll see a shift soon!
@sammajane19 Hope you get some good information and help from your doctor! GL with the ultrasound!
@BusinessWife Wha?! That's awesome you can sing like that!! Hope your H's motivational talks get a little more...motivational.
@EgnaroBean So cool that you are a pickler! I bought a few books on preserving and wanted to try but haven't had the chance...and would much rather learn from someone that does it than from a book!
@beary67 That's awesome that acupuncture is going well! Did you love your first chicken wing?! I can't eat them, something about chewing meat off a bone...just can't.
@JessCL Glad temping is going well! I have found it to be so valuable!!
@TheJerilu Where did you experience the volcano and glacier?! I want to go to there.
@becbec28 How exciting to be closing on your first home! FX for it to go super smoothly!!
@NurseMarie9 It seems to depend on the person if the time or sleep matters more, I have found the time matters more for me than if I got a solid 3 hours before it. Hope you see a rise soon!!
@linzrunz GL at your race on Saturday!! That's such an admirable hobby...that I should pick up.
@felix08 Have fun in Nashville!! That sounds so fun. Also, since you wanted to know how they line up, with a high temp tomorrow, my chart and the ultrasound will agree perfectly!
@H4aPartyof5 So cool that you do agility!! I wish I had the discipline for it, because I think a lot of the setters we rescue would benefit from it.
@BecauseLove FX for mature follies!! I love your comment on finding extreme joy in current circumstances. I have been working hard to find and appreciate all the good things!!
@RatParade I have a little window when I get home from work before H does and I watch all my embarrassing shows then. If he gets home and I don't hear him I feel like I got caught with my hand in the cookie jar!
@aliciabhen FX for a solid temp shift for you!! My first chart was last cycle and it was a bit of a mess, but the temp shift was still clear. Hope yours will be too!
@mrsdee15 FX O holds off for you to get good timing!!
@pshaortao I've never used pressed but I know someone will know! FX it works for you!

R/R/CS: I'm on my second cycle of Clomid. My doc increased the dose. I've got my fingers crossed that I'll ovulate this time.
GTKY: What is your go-to "fun fact" about yourself if you have to share one in a real life getting-to-know-you activity? I was blind as a kid. I couldn't see anything. I went to the eye doctor frequently. I had to wear thick, THICK glasses and an eye patch to correct a lazy eye. The reason I was blind was my eyes were weak. Now I don't even need glasses. I wear them for "high activity" things, like using the computer, reading and watching t.v.

I got up to use the restroom. I fell back asleep and I think I woke up at 5:30am (my usual BBT time) and temp was 97.1. I'm thinking I should use my 4:30am time? Still waiting of the temp rise.

That basically fueled my training and I ran the ENTIRE thing without stopped. Now I'm addicted. Next race is this Saturday.

@loulieface sorry about CD1. Never fun, but at least it sounds like you are staying positive.
@l9i Hope you see a clear shift soon!
@furbabymom2007 Hope you hear from your doc soon!
@vintageandrea90 Welcome!

@PepperAT @writeress @sammajan19 I don't mind them (and usually enjoy hearing other people's facts), but it does make me feel a bit anxious and that's why I have a "go-to" that I will pretty much always use. My fun fact is that Hanson has been my favorite band for nearly 20 years and I've seen them live over 10 times. Sooooo fun, right??

R/R/CS: My DH and I got into a bit of a non-fight last night, which I'm still feeling upset about today.
GTKY: I do better when there are specific questions to answer...most GTKY activities actually make me nervous. I'd probably say something about training/showing my dogs in agility and conformation, which for most people seems to be a bit unusual.
@cjt141213, I'm with you on disliking real life GTKY activities.
@Marley629, I think it would probably be really nice to grow up in a large family, but yes, that's pretty unusual these days.
@LoulieFace, sorry about CD1
@l9i, sorry that your temps are doing strange things and that you are back in WTO.
@thefarmerswife0411, I love English Mastiffs
@moosette113, I also can't stand when people can't seem to follow instructions/directions...so annoying.
@writeress, yay for FW.

I am a huge nerd and love to game. And most people in real life find this super fascinating because it's not something they would ever 'assume' about me otherwise. So I usually go with that one.

@vintageandrea90 Welcome!! FX for O!!
@writeress FX for O soon!!
@lcsrva Hope your H gets better soon!!!
@dogmomwantinghuman I talk about my furbabies too!! Sorry you are having to deal with so much cramping, FX it ends soon!!
