I know a Madison who goes by Mimi although I don't believe that is common.
Suggestions - Demi, Marilyn, Mira, Amy, Camilla, Dominique, Emmeline, Jamie, Jessamine, Mia, Mila, Naomi, Tammy, Maria
True, this is very common in Tx.
My Amelia nn herself Mimi.
Really I think it can be used for nearly and name beginning with "M". Or even some with M in them.
The two that I know that often go by Mimi are Megan and Mila.
