WAYDTGKU: CM/CP, BD, just bought preseed!

    **********
    QUESTION:
I saw in the reviews regarding preseed that you don't need to use as much as what the instruction says and some said they don't use the applicators. I haven't tried it yet but plan to soon. How much do y'all use and how do you "apply" it?
    **********

R/R/CS:  Nothing really, just wondering about preseed at the moment! =)

GTKY: What is your go-to "fun fact" about yourself if you have to share one in a real life getting-to-know-you activity? I can wiggle my ears!
I just started using pre-seed this cycle, about 3 times so far. The first time I used 3g and that felt like too much. So I now use between 1-2g and that seems plenty for me. I use the plastic applicator, not the best applicator but it works.
I'm interested in this! I'm new to this and I pretty much have no CM ever. I'm not sure I've ever even seen myself have EWCM.

  • @mokay19 That's a fantastic suggestion, thank you! He may not be soaking in how I am explaining it.  Which is not something I thought of before. I'm definitely going to send him some links!

@writeress I think you're on the right track! I think it's easier to believe there is nothing wrong than to face the facts you know? He is SUPER protective of me. So I think it's easier for him to act as if there isn't an issue. I'm assuming he doesn't know how to "fix it" and that bothers him. On top of the fact that for all I know he may feel anxious about an SA if in fact there is an issue because it might "bruise his ego"!  *Mental note to be a good wife and ask that question tonight*

Yeah, I think many men take SA to mean admitting "failure" on their parts, even though that's not the case. He may be being willfully oblivious to avoid dealing with the topic altogether. Still, this doesn't make his behavior right and I hope you guys are able to sit down and talk it all through! Good luck!

  • @LeCool good to know! I only take one as well. It's 1000mg.

I'm starting to get a little panicky after googling and finding anecdotes of O being delayed a week but everyone reacts differently so I'm hoping O is just delayed a bit for me. I have a flight on Saturday and won't see my H for two weeks and then we're benched in April. I feel like a dummy for not knowing epo has a chance of delaying O.

R/R/CS: You ladies amaze me. I just don't have the talent to daily round up but I've got some mad love titting skills. I love the support for each other in this board.

GTKY: What is your go-to "fun fact" about yourself if you have to share one in a real life getting-to-know-you activity? I have a freckle in the same place on each leg. I would often remind my parents so they could identify me if I was kidnapped. I was totally that kid...

  • @thefarmerswife0411 The benefit of getting pickling and canning recipes from a book is that you can be sure the ratios are safe--otherwise the publisher would be liable and you know they won't let that happen. If you don't have enough acid for example, dangerous and odorless bacteria can develop. I can recommend some books for you! :)

  • EgnaroBean and thefarmerswife0411 so cool that you are both canning. I canned a bunch for a few years (and have a stockpile of jars that I can't let go of...just in case I decided to start up again) ago...it was fun but a lot of work. What are your favorite things to make? I personally loved plum jam that I made one year...it felt very special because a friend gave me plums from her tree. The fan favorites that I made were my pasta sauce and my pickles (and my version of Bloody Pickles-add beat slices to dye everything red). I still make my pasta sauce, I just freeze it now instead..the lazy persons version of preserving. What are your favorite things to can? EgnaroBean I adore homemade ice cream! So impressed by all that your making!
loveinak I love that you would remind your parents on the off chance you were kidnapped. <3 My mom would often tell me and a friend I hung out with a lot that no one would kidnap us because we were such a loud kids...if they did get away with it they would want to give us back pretty quickly hahah
PennStateCait I hope you o ASAP! The wait sucks!
whiska I am so glad you have been able to stay postive during TTC. I am at roughly 10 cycles but 17 months of ttc... Oy Vey! We are troopers. Hoping this cycle is the one for you!
Lecool It is funny the longer TTC things just seem worth trying...
H4aPartyof5 I hope this cycle is the one for you but if not I hope Femera makes it all happen for you. I haven't minded the Femera until they upped the dosage (then I got headaches) but the nice thing is it works to only make 1 or 2 mature follies so less worries about multiples and more likelihood of triggering (or not having to take a cycle off because of too many follies). Random story but....Just the other day I asked my nurse if they had thought about putting me on the letrezole or femera step system (day 1 pill, day 2 2 pills, all the way to day 5 of taking 5 pills)...they said they use to do this but in the long run to many of their patients had triplets and then a lady had quads...uffda. So they don't do the practice any more.
pshaortao At first we used preseed with the applicator every time and then I just used it with my fingers (as much or little as I wanted) just when I thought I might need it. Now we are back to not using it much. It seemed to work ok...and as mentioned is messy. Wishing you FX.
Mythril I hope the increased dose works for you. :)
kiwielopingbride What was your favorite Country you ever visited? My husband and I are off to Europe this spring...I haven't been since I was 18 and he has never been. It should be super fun. I am most looking forward to a little town in Switzerland we are going to visit.
houseofsetters I was driving the other day for a work trip when I thought about extreme joy. I know I am at my best when I am so blissed out happy and able to see all the blessings my life has. I had found myself recently doing a lot of x sucks but my life is great despite. As cheesy as it is I am looking for more reasons to be just stupid happy. I hope I find them and I hope it works.
mrsdee15 Do you like seeing the nutcracker ballet now or are you tired of it? Are you guys peeing on OPK sticks? FX to you.
    lcsrva mmm pad thai! :)
writeress That is actually pretty impressive to have all the cartoon songs memorized.
RatParade Gosh just the thought of being able to announce a BFP holds a hella lot of excitement..I hear ya! Wishing you FX.
H4aPartyof5 Hoping you and your hubby had a good talk and your feeling better today.
felix08 Nashville sounds great and as you said a wonderful distraction!
linzrunz Dreams about work or stress dreams are no good...hopefully your day was good enough to help shake it.
NurseMarie9 I bet your little sister really looks up to you. Fun to be able to share your wise life words with her...or just around to enjoy the fun kid things...sometimes a kids look at the world really can help to ground us on a bad day.
becbec28  What is your favorite thing about the new house you are moving into?
TheJerilu I use to have a coworker that turned almost into a work husband that was def in one ear. I always forgot which one...but he was so very kind about reminding me which side of the booth to sit on if we were talking etc.
JessCL Totally love how you said all the sexing :) cracked me up!
BusinessWife Today is the perfect day to be singing some Gaelic :) Very cool about traveling to Ireland...its on my bucket list!
sammajane19 To each their own but I stopped temping a long time ago now. It just felt like one more reminder every single day that made TTC a ton of work and wasn't really bringing me any more success than anything else I was doing.
Sugargirl1019 Your husband sounds pretty amusing! Also super cool about carrying the Olympic torch!
cjt121413 I think everyone should agree that we should have to do anything before like 9:30 in the mornings...mornings suck!
PennStateCait Hoping you got your O last night.
MamaMunn Very impressive about 10 years of ballet! I am such a klutz that just walking can be  hard sometimes :)
vintageandrea90 Wowza's I know how hard Nursing school is. I sure hope you have someone that is rubbing your feet and spoiling you while you do so much!
tamalahoops I hope you get good results from your dr about all your testing.
mokay19 Your husband sounds great! I totally hear ya about dear diary way of life with TTC.
PepperAT Gosh I hate those dreams where you wake up upset and can't shake it. I hope you had better dreams last night!
Lecool I hear ya...my husband and I have different schedules and finding time to BD can be hard....I often suggest he should wake me up early to getter done but when he tries to wake me up in the morning about half the time I just go right back to sleep and ignore him. :)
MelissaM090 Has your dr suggested trigger shots yet? I was finding that even on clomid and letrzole I wasn't Oing or if I was it was super late in the cycle...but trigger shots fixed all of that...made me pretty darn normal for 2 months.
furbabymom2007 I hope the doc had some good info for you...or will have good info for you. It is so hard to not have all the information as you are trying..it can be so frustrating.
canavara I totally stopped charting around Cycle 3 or 4. It felt like such a waste of energy and always kept my brain in the game which was stressful. I hope you figure out whatever works best for you.
Winnie81 I never thought I would be one of those ladies that sleep on the couch because there husband is snoring too loud for them to sleep but I have done my fair share of couch sleeping once I woke up and couldn't go back to sleep otherwise.
mrsdaddario DH can be such a pain in the rear at times. Wishing you better days.
nwegman7878 How old is your puppy? Our 9 year old dog also freaks out whenever there is a storm. Makes for a long night.
DiFazette Where is your favorite place you have traveled?
    houseofsetters Wishing you some FX!
sarah0985 You are a hero! That is an awesome story!!
    sldp123 That Gif is awesome!!
l9i Are you peeing on O sticks? When I was temping I tried to do both so I could back up anything that came up on one or the other.
LoulieFace Are you a hike and camp person or a car and camp person? I am for sure a car and camp person. :)

  • mokay19 I remember talking to my DH a few months ago about how many months (17) we had been trying and he was like...what has it been 6 months...and then said gosh everything has been going so fast its like we are going to run out of options soon? LOL He has even gone to Dr appointments with me. I just think so much of the TTC process falls on women that is hard for them to realize what it takes out of us or what is involved. Last week he hugged me and said that if we end up having to try more cycles that he wanted to be responsible to like give me my medication and write down my dr appointments...it was sweet but silly because I don't really need someone to give me my medications or write stuff down...but I could see he was trying to really be part of things instead of watching me go through things more from the outside.I hope your DH starts to realize what a big burden it is for you to be going through all of this with out him being more supportive. Hugs!
