Married 11 years. DS is 19 months old now. 6 positive wondfos over the weekend and one last night at the Dr and I'm due Nov. 13. Kind of thrown a bit, took us awhile to have DS, this was our second month of trying. Nonetheless, we're delighted. I had 1 loss before DS so there's that bouncing around in my head. Trying for an early U/S to get peace of mind.
So holy poo, congratulations to us.
Edit: my actual account finally just got approved so I'm switching to that. Took a week, dude!
I guess I'll do an intro here. Hey everyone! I am 37, and we have been married for 6 years. We have 2 kids, Lucia who is 4, and Viviana who is 1.5. I had a miscarriage between their two pregnancies, and spent time after that on Pgal.
I just got a very faint squinter yesterday evening at 7 DPO. Today I took two more (I'm addicted to Wondfos!) and they are getting darker. My husband's job changed insurance this summer, so I cannot use my family doctor who delivered Viviana :-( I need to figure out who I can use on this new insurance. Mostly I'm just trying to patiently wait for an ultrasound and to enjoy every minute of this pregnancy for as long as I can. I'm still super close with the women from my first daughter's board, so I'm hopeful to make some connections here.
Hello everyone, I think I am ready to join you lovely ladies. I still cannot really believe that it actually happened. But after POAS, 7 of them, the clinic told me I should believe it. Booked a beta for today, so am now waiting for the call and hope the numbers are good. I'm 33 years, originally from the Netherlands, but live in Norway at the moment. Am single and used a Danish donor as it is illegal here in Norway to use a donor when being single. I've been trying for a year with some bumps on the road, and saw my first ever positive test. Can't wait to tell my mum when I see her on Sunday!
Hi Ladies! I just got my BFP on Monday, which was the day before AF was due and was quite surprised. Last cycle I had a faint BFP the day AF was due but I couldn't turn a digi and by that evening/the next day, the lines were barely visible. Sadly, that cycle ended in a CP so I'm cautiously excited for now. Lines are much darker this time though, and digi's are saying "yes" so those are good signs. Plus I've been testing every day since then and I'm still pregnant! This will be baby #2 for us, DS will be 5 by thy time this one is born. I look forward to taking this journey with you all! I was active on Oct 2011 and loved it!
@tvh1982 It is so great to be on this board together I still could not decide when I should tell my Mom, I am hoping that it will feel more `real` after I start to tell people.
Just took a pregnancy test this morning and I'm 99% I wasn't imagining that faint line! This will be #4 for us. We started out adopting siblings (ages will be 6 & 7 this summer) and have a biological son who will be exactly three and a half when this baby is born. Due date is November 14th.
Hi, I'm Chelsea. I'm 23, married, and we have a 3 year old daughter. I had one loss before her and one loss in October. So far this pregnancy looks good and I'm on progesterone. Due date is November 8th, first ultrasound is March 22nd. Fingers crossed we all have sticky babies! ❤
Hey ladies! Excited to get to know all of you in the coming months. My name is Kim and I got my BFP a few days ago. My estimated due date is November 12th. My husband and I have currently have one son who was born in August 2014. I am excited to watch him become a big brother.
Hello! EDD is Nov 9; My husband and I had a CP miscarry at 6 weeks in December so it's hard to stay excited as I'm constanly worrying about something going wrong. Last time the lines stayed very light but this time they have progressed to darker than the control line so hopefully everything continues in a positive direction!
Hi, I'm Christie. I was on the March 15 board, but had my little Iris in February. I am due 11/7 according to charts. Looking forward to getting to know everyone!
Hello everyone! It has been a while since I have logged on to TB, but I have been part of TTCAL and Pgal in the past, and have a daughter Charlie and was active in the A14 board. Brief history: used an RE to conceive after 2 mmc, had a Mirena inserted through the back of my uterus, found out it was missing a year after when trying to have it removed, had laparoscopic surgery to get it out and found endometriosis in the process. Went back to RE and had 2 more mmc, and now I am 6 weeks on try #4. First US is Monday. Hoping to stick around for this one!

Hello all! I'm joining the November board! Very excited to be here! My DH and I have been on fertility meds the past 4 mths. (using only Clomid) and just last month we were on Letrozole and then Ovidrel shot! Well, what do you know......... Just got a BFP this week! I'm very excited! Our 5 1/2 year old son is really wanting a sibling! And of course, we are wanting another baby!
Hi N16 moms! I just found out I'm pregnant and due 11/19 which also happens to be my son's birthday (he'll be 3). I suffered a ruptured ectopic pregnancy and had my right tube removed in August so I'm still a little traumatized from that. Even so, I'm tying to remain positive. I had my HCG levels taken yesterday and I'll have one more tomorrow and they are also doing an early ultrasound to rule out another ectopic next week (I don't expect to see much, maybe a sac if I'm lucky!). H & H everyone

Hi everyone. I'm a 34 year old engineering manager in the SF Bay Area. My husband is a 33 year old project manager. We don't have any kids yet - just a dog and a cat. I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone!
I just found out I'm pregnant 6 days ago and I should be around 4.5/5 weeks along. This my first pregnancy. My husband and I started trying about 5 months ago and I'm so exicted to actually be pregnant! Um, I don't really know what else to say but I'm looking forward to getting to know y'all throughout this 9 month journey!!
Hello! 32 from Mass. I lost my son last year at 22 weeks due to incompetent cervix. After a couple more rounds of IVF, we are (cautiously) expecting again in November. I say cautious because I had a very low first beta that is currently increasing nicely. I can't wait to chat you ladies up and exchange stories, advice and support.
I am 33 and live in new york city. I'm married to DH who is 34 and we have a DS who is 17 months. This is my second pregnancy. It took me nearly a year to conceive DS so we started trying for #2 the earliest I felt I would be comfortable having a second baby. What do you know? I'm pregnant a few weeks later. I'm feeling mixed at this point as I really love my life with DS1 and DH but I'm hoping participating in this board will help me engage more in the pregnancy and remember how much I enjoyed it the last time. Nice to meet you all!
Hi ladies! I just got my BFP tonight (3 times!) on my dollar store Cheapies. I'm very early 3w5d but feeling hopeful! This will be my 2nd. My daughter was born at 32 weeks in December 2014. I love my Jan15 mamas! Although I'm really only active with them on Facebook not here. I am very nervous. This is a BC baby. My doctor did not want me to become pregnant again for health/safety reasons. Im trying to stay very positive. I wanted more children but planned on adopting. Im happy! Just very nervous. I'm hoping to get to know y'all throughout this journey! H&H 9 months!!!
Hello, its my first pregnancy and I'm pretty nervous. My first appointment is Monday! I have a few questions as to what will be taking place at the doctors. First, will I be getting a due date ? Secondly, will I get an ultrasound? And thirdly, should I start rakog prenatal vitamins or wait until after the appointment?
Hi Everyone!! Been stalking since Saturday when I got my BFP but it wouldn't let me post. Now it will finally let me so thought I'd introduce myself. I am PG with #4. I have two children earth side, a boy age 7 and a girl age 6, and an Angel who was born stillborn at 17 weeks in November 2014. Got my first BFP on Saturday morning, 4 days before AF was due. Normally I can't even get a faint positive until AF is due so was shocked to see a nice dark like that early. Continued to test until yesterday when AF was due and have nice dark BFPs. Looking forward to my first appt in April and getting to know all you wonderful ladies.
Hi @alysiaaa, I can not answer the first two questions, as I am pretty clueless myself. But about prenatal vitamins; yes take them! GL to you on monday!
@Alysiaaa - All doctors do things a little differently. Do you have an idea of your due date? Most doctors will give you a general due date based off the first day of your last period.
Usually the first appointment is just an introductory appointment, possibly with some blood drawn. It is possible the doctor will have an ultrasound machine in the room and do one, but I would assume not.
For me I've always been set up for another ultrasound appointment around 8 or 9 weeks - they then give a more accurate due date based off the size. But I know some places don't do an ultrasound until 20 weeks. It's rare I think, though. Yes, you should definitely be taking prenatal vitamins now. They usually stay down better if you take one right before bed.
Hi everyone! I am posting here after ttc for 2+ years we were a month off starting Ivf but luckily made it just in time!! We have had recurrent m/c so there is always that fear for us but trying to stay super positive.
due date is 16 November 2016
Had my first beta at 12dpo and it was 28 then had it again at 14dpo and it was 120 progestrone was 189 having another test tomorrow, tests are looking super dark I only have one left and can't take anymore after that!!
Bo symptoms yet really just saw back, odd cramping and really tired.
@Alysiaaa My doctor does a transvaginal ultrasound at the first appointment. He's then able to give me a more exact due date based on the measurements. As far as vitamins, yes absolutely!
First time mom here, I'm about 6 weeks, first ob apt is in two weeks. Super nervous, it still hasn't sunk in for me, doesn't feel real. I'm 27, hubby is 32 and will be closing on our first home at the end of April (talk about combining all the stresses at once)
Anyway, I see a lot of abbreviations used and I have no idea what they are. Haha.
Some symtoms so far: acid reflux, exhaustion and cramping is at the top of the list. Hormones are definitely kicking my ads even though I won't admit it.
Hello all. I'm m6agua. I'm 27 H is 28 and we have been married for 5 years in August. This is my second pregnancy I lost my first naturally in November to a blighted ovum. I am very hopeful that this one sticks. Excited to get to know you all.
Hi, everyone! Just wanted to introduce myself as well. My name is Laura and I'm 37, my hubs will turn 40 next month. We have a 5 year old son and decided in December to start trying for another. Got my bfp Tuesday at 10dpo so I'm still really early.
I am so hopeful and look forward to getting to know y'all! With my son I was on the September 2010 board here on the Bump and 6 years later, those women are still some of the nearest and dearest friends I have. Looking forward to a happy and healthy 9 months for all of us!!

Welcome! A lot of mamas here have unfortunately miscarried in the past ( myself included) so you'll have lots of people who can understand your emotions.
Hi everyone! I'm jen, I'm 7 weeks pregnant with baby number 2. I have a 14 month old. At times I was active on that birth month bump, but I would like to be more active this time around, as it's always easier with friends. I was a single mama until I met my love. He is amazing with my daughter. I am nervous to be pregnant again and to announce it this early but again it helps to have support. I couldn't hold it in anymore so I figured what a better way then to bump. Hope everyone is feeling great. I am just sore boobies at this point, and I'm just starting to accept this all and get excited... I look forward to going through this journey together ladies!
Hi everyone! So excited to join the group:) I'm 27 and my husband is 28 and we are expecting our first! Just had my first confirmation appt. today and it's official! My due date is November 7th and my next appt. is the 31st which is over spring break (I'm a teacher) and I feel like it is going to take forever! Excited to get to know you all!
