@TNgoldengirl With DD, my OB had me off by one day from what I'd thought based on what I had calculated through ovulation. I told everyone my EDD was the earlier day (the one Fertility Friend told me it was as opposed to OB). It wasn't hard to remember the OB had my date as the 20th instead of 19th, and it didn't even come up most appointments. But do what makes the most sense to you. Also, I must point out, I don't want to lose you on the Tuesday check-in.
@TNgoldengirl - agreed with @camichael84,stay with us on Tuesday!! last time my OB gave me a due date 1 day after what I had assumed with LMP/The Bump etc. I stuck with my December 3rd due date because I liked he Wednesday ticker change for her. My son came on December 13th, so the 1 day difference in EDD made no difference to him!
@camichael84 yes, that's the biggest drawback at this point.. I love our Tuesday check-in!! and gives me happy things to look forward too on my otherwise least favorite day of the week lol.
@TNgoldengirl Then stay with us! Like @AnnaS930 said, baby will come when it wants to anyway. And I happened to think you and the OB might have gotten different days because one accounted for Leap Day and one did not. The extra day this year throws our EDDs off from what they'd be the other 3/4 of the time.

Okay..yes that's what I was thinking!! Makes sense, and ironic that it happens to be today. You guys convinced me Tuesday it is.. Yes baby may cook all the way til October, who knows!
@TNgoldengirl Glad we convinced you! And I have to admit, I only thought of the Leap Day thing because it is Leap Day today. I don't think I would have put two and two together any other day of the year.
All day Saturday my left nip was super itchy. To the point that I caught myself full on scratching it while shopping at Target - whoops! Finally that night I had had enough and reached down my shirt (for the first time that day) to really give it a good scratch and see what was going on.
I had a ridiculous amount of Ritz crumbs from my 1 year old's mid-morning snack in my bra.
ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! I suffered all day thinking it was an annoying pregnancy symptom when it was just buttery cracker and salt. But oh the sweet sweet relief when I scooped it out of there.
I'm about to meet with my boss and tell him I'm pregnant. I'm terrified. Maybe I shouldn't be...it's possible that I'll be reporting back in an hour saying that it went great and that I shouldn't have been nervous. But, somehow, I don't see that happening. This guy is so, so awkward. And doesn't handle change well. We'll have another six months to plan but I see his head spinning at the thought of me being gone for a few months at the end of the year. Not to mention the general disease I feel after mass layoffs last week. My timing could definitely be better... But, honestly, it's just time. Let's get this over with.
@JennM205 - You got this. This is your good news, don't let someone rain on your parade. We have tons going on at my company right now too, I'm supposed to be helping launch a project in another state and our primary state contract is up in the air. My boss was good and focused on the good news (at least to my face) without mentioning everything else going on. I hope the same for you.
And if he poo poos on it.. Treat yourself to something (anything) this evening because this is something to celebrate and he shouldn't make you feel otherwise.
@TNgoldengirl with DS, I had 3 different due dates, so I always went with the later one. This time around I've had 2 dates and am sticking to the 9th instead of the 6th. If mine holds out til October (which I know they'd never allow), there will be some serious words later on in life.
@AnnaS930@RedMar@Sporty1216 Well, it wasn't awesome...but it wasn't awful, either. My boss (and the conversation in general) was awkward as usual but he didn't freak out so that's a win. I'm really, really happy that's behind me...and now I get to move on to the fun part...
@AnnaS930 I'm totally stealing your Munchkin idea and bringing them in for the whole team either Wednesday or Thursday this week. I'll put them on the team tables with a sign that reads, "It's not that I've been eating too many donuts...there's a Munchkin on the way!" I hope you don't mind the imitation...it's the best form of flattery, right!?
So this is an extremely random random... I've been feeling a little wary of my profile pic on here. Especially as people I know are coming out of the woodwork announcing pregnancies due in Sept, I'm constantly wondering if they've seen and recognized me on here. (Slightly paranoid, yes, but possible, yes.) Especially with everything happening at work lately, the last thing I need is someone stumbling across something work-related I've posted.
So, question is - if I change my pic (to something other than my face) will you all still know who I am? Lol
@JennM205 For me, it may trip me up a few times at first if I'm not paying close attention, but I know you by your screen name, so it wouldn't be a biggie to me. I think of you as my Progesterone pal, even though I know you're done with it already (I'll be finished this week!).
On a related note, I have kept the same profile pic since my Knot days fearing no one would know who I was if I changed it. That photo is a 5 years old engagement photo.
@camichael84 omg I thought so! I saw somewhere you said you were active on the TN board and for some reason that and the profile pic clicked and I'm pretty sure I remember seeing you there from way back when, 2012ish. That was one I tried to start out on but it was super slow and I forgot to go back lol.
I feel weird about having my profile pic as a recent real picture too, but saw others had it, and I didn't want a generic TB one.
Congrats @TheTamedShrew for winning the Feb siggy challenge!
Everyone feel free to add a gif to join the fun for March. Theme is "St. Patrick's Day fun" so anything related to that day. Get creative! And be on the look out for signature/siggy challenge posts. Remember- it's just for fun.
@camichael84 That's why I am hesitant to switch it...everybody seems to keep theirs fairly consistent for obvious reasons. Though, oddly enough, this pic isn't what I used when I was on TB with DD. Same screen name but back then I was a blue morpho butterfly (which I also have tattooed on my right ankle.) It looked something like this:
So....I finally got to hear our baby's heartbeat today!!! I woke up so stinkin' anxious about the appointment today. It actually did take a minute for the nurse to locate it but when she did, I recognized it right away! It was the most incredible sound of my entire life... It measured at 166 bpm. Whoo hoo!
@JennM205 I am considering changing my profile pic to my actual face once I go public with my pregnancy so you all can see the real person behind the pup. But honestly, most people who know me know my dog too so I guess I wasn't very good at being incognito. LOL. Also, congrats on telling your boss today! I am glad that is over with.
Married: 3/21/15 First time mom to a human but have been a puppy mamma for over 12 years
I'm currently at work, feeling like I may vomit any second now -- haven't done that at work yet so I'm hoping it holds off. Currently shoving sour patch kids down my throat to try to delay the pain.
Although on a brighter note, I had a very successful "fake" drinking day on Sunday! We went to a big brunch where I knew people were going to be watching me like a hawk to see if I was drinking, and I didn't know what I was going to do. Then to my delight, they had a build your own bloody mary bar that you could go to instead of ordering from the waiter! BINGO! I just asked DH to go up and order my bloody mary, and when he brought it back no one was the wiser. Also, it was dang delicious even as a virgin drink -- I could have sucked down 10 of those things. I also had to fake a prosecco toast -- that wasn't as easy but I think I pulled it off pretty well!
@blondie080300 I'm so happy for you! It often takes my OB a minute to find the heartbeat, this time it was higher than she expected. She just talks casually while searching while I can hardly hold a conversation as my heart starts to race.
@JennM205 I think you're good to change now. Besides the reasons already mentioned, you're still doing it early in the game. We've got over 7 months left on here before the babies come.
@TNgoldengirl I was on the Oct 2011 board on TK and TN. TN was definitely slow in comparison to TK and TB.
Im looking for some good recommendations for a photo app to use for my weekly bump pictures. I remember someone on here mentioning one but can't remember who or the app.
@mamajen10414 Someone else on here suggested Photofy, I have since started using it and I love it! The photos are just for my own enjoyment right now since no one knows but it's fun to play around with the different options.
@SLou24 thank you! Yes I just want for my entertainment. With my son I have lots of belly pictures but never put on them how many wks so looking back I have to figure it out rather than just having it on the picture.
I'm totally doing the signature challenge just so people will hopefully remember me. Despite being active in April 13 BMB, no one knew who I was until we broke away into a Facebook group towards the end of our pregnancies.
Also, I probably took too much satisfaction over the couple shout outs I got for my February signature.
@PSUBecky23- I recognize your name! I'm still at the point of recognizing names but not fully remembering how many kids people already have or what they've posted about (except for maybe a few posts that stick out or people who have things in common with me that I remember). Not to stop you from taking part of the challenge, but I think you're known!
I should add that I turned off images in signatures because I bump from work and the flashing images make things a bit too obvious for my nosy neighbors. Being able to see people's signatures/tickers is probably what helped me get to know/remember my Dec14 ladies, so I should probably turn them back on.
@PSUBecky23 Awesome gif - you beat met to it! For some reason, my siggy would only let me insert images yesterday - the gif wouldn't work. But no worries, there are plenty out there. And, what can I say, great minds think alike!
I almost exclusively bump from my phone, so siggy challenges don't work for me...but it sounds like I should start checking in from my laptop occasionally to see what everyone is coming up with!
@PSUBecky23 I also recognize you as a regular poster. For now (been too lazy to mess with my computer), I've been mobile bumping and can't see anyone's tickers either.

only kidding

My 4/4/13 due date baby became a March 2013 baby. I stuck with my April girls and our group is still going strong

ETA: Why is gif-ing so hardddddd

Finally, this BMB is pretty awesome, so far.
